The passing away of the 95-year-old creator of Marvel Comics, Stan Lee, threw the world into a state of shock, and since yesterday, glowing tributes and emotional messages have been pouring in from across the world.

Stan Lee passed away on Monday in Los Angeles, and people immediately went online to post their shock and disbelief at the heartbreaking development.

There will never be another Stan Lee. For decades he provided both young and old with adventure, escape, comfort, confidence, inspiration, strength, friendship and joy. He exuded love and kindness and will leave an indelible mark on so, so, so many lives. Excelsior!!

Stan Lee's death has left a gaping hole in the hearts of people, especially Marvel fans. We sure will miss his energetic presence and jovial attitude, and most of all, his extremely awesome cameos. R.I.P. legend.
