Foreign Office Spokesperson Aisha Farooqui. Photo: Foreign Office TwitterISLAMABAD: Aisha Farooqui on Friday took charge as the new spokesperson of the Foreign Office.
Farooqui replaces Dr Mohammad Faisal who has been appointed as Pakistan’s Ambassador to Germany.
A career diplomat, Farooqui has previously served abroad in Pakistan’s Missions in France, Egypt, the United Kingdom, Turkey and the United States.
According to a notification dated December 17, 2019, another officer Sajjad Ahmed Seehar on return from National Management Course has also been transferred and posted as member directing staff, National Defence University.
