KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Thursday announced that all banks, development finance institutions and microfinance banks will remain open from 8am to 2:15pm (Monday to Thursday) during the holy month of Ramazan.

Banks and financial institutions will continue to operate during these hours without any break, the SBP said in a statement. 

However on Fridays, the timings will be from 8am to 1pm.

The banking hours for public dealing will be from 8am to 1:45pm (Monday to Thursday), and 8am to 12:30pm on Fridays, specified the central bank.

The timings will automatically be reverted after the end of Ramazan, it added.
