Metal band Bhayanak Maut was formed and named by Jaison Lewis and Sriram Sharma back in 2003. The current lineup includes Venkatraman and Aditya Nair on guitar, Ishaan Krishna on Bass, Rahul Hariharan on Drums, and Sunneith Revankar and Vinay Venkatesh on Vocals.

The thing that sets Bhayanak Maut apart is their energetic live performances and the signature modern metal sound that they have managed to establish for themselves. The band likes to keep it fresh for the audience by making each and every live performance unique.

Bhayanak Maut has released a total of two EPs - ‘Malignant’(2006) and ‘Metastasis’(2010) - and three albums - ‘Hell Is All People’(2004), ‘Untitled’(2009) and ‘Man’(2014) in the span of their career. All of their music was well received and got a lot of praise from the metal fans in the country. 

Bhayanak Maut is a modernmetal band with extremely intense and compelling music. Not wanting to be confined in one genre, they have found a perfect and unique combination of heavy metal, death metal and groove metal. 

The band’s iconic live performances are really popular among fans. They have played at a number of venues, both in India and internationally, from college fests to prestigious festivals. Bhayanak Maut has shared the stage with many international bands over the years such as Lamb Of God, Fear Factory, Satyricon, Textures, Sahg, Benea Reach, Intronaut, and Amon Amarth.
