Rain, thunderstorm with gusty winds are expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Bannu, Kohat, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Lahore , Faisalabad, Multan divisions, FATA, Islamabad, and Kashmir, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasted on Friday.

Hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country in the next twenty-four hours.

A westerly wave is continues to affect upper and central parts of the country and is likely to persist during the next three days, the MET said.

Past weather:

Dust, thunderstorm, and rain with gusty winds occurred at isolated places in Bahawalpur, Sukkur, Hazara, Sibbi, Kalat, Quetta divisions, FATA, and Kashmir.

The weather remained hot and dry in other parts of the country.

Balochistan: Sibbi 42, Khuzdar 25, Barkhan 01, Punjab: Bahawalpur (AP 27, City 05), Kashmir: Muzaffarabad 17, Rawalakot 01, KP: Parachinar 09, Balakot 03, Sindh: Jacobabad 06.

Yesterday's highest maximum temperatures:

Dadu, Padidan, Dalbandin 43°C, Sh. Benazirabad , Turbat, Larkana, Moenjodaro 41°C.
