
KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange showed a downward trend at the start of trading on Monday.
The benchmark KSE 100-index fell by more than 1,500 points, showing a decline of 2.47%.
The benchmark index at present stands at less than 48,000 points.
A downward trend has been witnessed at the stock exchange for the last couple of weeks owing to various factors, including the recently presented federal budget 2017-18.
