MULTAN: A 20-year-old labourer was killed when a roof of an under-construction building collapsed in Sheedi Lal Pull area on Tuesday.

Four labourers were injured in the incident.

Rescue 1122 team reached the site and shifted the injured and deceased to Nishtar Hospital.

The roof collapsed as substandard material was used to make it.

On May 3, a child was killed and six others were injured when the roof of a house fell at Ranchore Line.

According to Geo News, the injured residents of the unfortunate one-storey house built on a Nullah, were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital

Rescue services said that the iron roof of the house was rusted and it fell on the family living in the house. Only one person in the family remained unharmed.

The injured have been transferred to the Civil Hospital.

Ranchore Line is an old city area where rickety buildings are a common sight.
