After the gruesome terror attacks at the London Bridge, the city was struck by yet another terrible incident that shook the city to its core. Wednesday night, a massive fire broke out in London's Grenfell Tower. In this time of tragedy, the firefighters, who reportedly showed up at the scene in just 6 minutes, have emerged as the true heroes. 

London Fire Brigade said that more than 200 firefighters and 40 fire engines attended the scene after the blaze ripped through the 24-storey block in west London, from the second floor upwards. Working tirelessly for hours, they tackled the fire, rescued people and tended to those injured. Several firefighters even suffered injuries in the blaze, but nothing stopped them from saving lives. 

People took to Twitter to pay tribute and thank the real heroes who deserve every bit of respect.
