ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has frozen the bank accounts of Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) employees for not filing tax returns, FBR sources told Geo News.
The step has put the salaries of the IESCO employees in limbo. According to IESCO sources, employees would not be able to get salaries if the accounts are not unfrozen in two days.
