LAHORE: Actress Meera has announced that she will be getting married on August 22 to a family friend.

In an article published in Jang, the actress revealed that her Mehndi will take place on August 5 while the Valima ceremony will be held in November.

Meera said that following her marriage she would no longer live in Pakistan and move to the US. Meera added that she would also be leaving the showbiz industry.

According to the actress her husband to be does not work in the showbiz industry and this was an arranged marriage which her parents were extremely happy about.
