ISLAMABAD: Foreign Affairs Adviser Sartaj Aziz met on Sunday a five-member delegation of US senators led by Senator John McCain here.

During the meeting, Aziz said that the strategic partnership between Pakistan and the US is of utmost importance to achieve peace and stability in the region.

Senator McCain said that the US policy regarding the Kashmir issue hasn?t changed, adding that the US wants an end to violence in the territory.

The US senator declared Pakistan?s role as crucial for bringing stability in neighbouring Afghanistan.
