In Indian-occupied Kashmir, clashes had erupted after Indian troops launched a siege and search operation in Pulwama district.
People of the area protest the troops? house-to-house search operation in Malangpora village and pelted stones on them. However, the Indian forces responded by using tear gas shells and pellets to disperse the protesters.
On June 30, two civilians including a woman were killed and many others injured on Saturday after Indian troops opened fire on peaceful protesters in Islamabad district of IoK.
The troops had fired bullets, pellets, and tear gas shells on the demonstrators killing two civilians, Tariq Ahmed and Tahira Begum, and injuring many others, the KMS said.
