Weak monsoon currents penetrating Kashmir: MET

Weak monsoon currents continue to penetrate in northeastern parts of the country and Kashmir on Tuesday.
A shallow westerly wave is still affecting upper parts of the country and likely to persist over Kashmir and its adjoining areas during the next 48 hours.
Mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-thundershowers with gusty winds are expected at a few places in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan divisions, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.

The weather remained hot and humid in most parts of the country on Monday. However, rain-thundershowers with gusty winds occurred at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Zhob divisions, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
