GILGIT: Voting for the by-poll at Gilgit Baltistan Legislative Assembly-4 in Hunza-Nagar began at 8am today and will conclude at 5pm.

There are 18,505 registered voters in the constituency, which fell vacant in February 2017 after the incumbent representative, Islami Tehreek Pakistan?s (ITP) Muhammad Ali Sheikh passed away due to cardiac arrest.

A strong contest is expected between ITP?s Mohammad Baqar Haider and Pakistan Peoples Party?s Javed Hussain.
