

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has cancelled his visit to Kohistan (Dasu), which was earlier scheduled for Monday due to bad weather, according to a statement by the PM office on Sunday.
The statement further said that the new dates for the premier?s visit would be announced later.
Tomorrow is also an important day as the Panama case Joint Investigation Team (JIT), tasked to probe the prime minister?s financial dealings abroad, will submit its final report to the Supreme Court?s special implementation bench.
The local administration in Islamabad finalised all arrangements pertaining to Monday's hearing at the apex court. Authorities have issued a red alert for the federal capital's Red Zone area.
On July 7, PM Nawaz Sharif had inaugurated the first 760MW-unit of the Haveli Bahadur Shah Power Plant in Jhang. He had then announced that he would lay down the foundation-stone of the Dasu power project on July 10.
