A seasonal low lies over north-west Balochistan on Tuesday. Monsoon currents are penetrating in upper parts of the country and likely to continue during the next few days, the Pakistan Meteorological Department said.

Rain/thunderstorm with isolated heavy falls are expected at a number of places in upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad divisions), Islamabad and Kashmir, while at scattered places in southern Punjab (D.G. Khan, Multan, Bahawalpur and Sahiwal divisions), Zhob, Kalat divisions, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, and Gilgit-Baltistan in the next 24-hours.

Light rain/drizzle is also expected at a few places along the Sindh coast.

Past weather

Rain-thunderstorm occurred at a number of places in Kashmir, while at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Hazara and Kalat divisions on Monday. The weather remained hot and humid in other parts of the country.
