Marriyum Aurangzeb addressing press conference in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: State minister for information Marriyum Aurangzeb on Wednesday came down hard on the Joint Investigation Team for what she called ?character assassination? of government functionaries by the team in its final report, saying the task of the team was to find answers to 13 questions.

?Who gave the JIT the right to call anyone a liar,? asked Aurangzeb at a press conference here, flanked by other party leaders.

The minister said that this is the third conspiracy after the failure of the last two sit-ins, warning that the conspirators would be exposed regardless of what the outcome is.

Aurangzeb added that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz lawyers are studying the report and will file responses accordingly.
