SS Rajamouli's RRR has been nothing short of an extravaganza. Having hit the theatres on March 25, the film has exceeded all expectations.

The film stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead roles, as it tells a fictional tale of two real-life Telugu freedom fighters named Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem.

Bollywood celebrities Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn also feature in the film in pivotal roles, alongside Shriya Saran. RRR has been produced by D.V.V. Danayya of DVV Entertainments.

RRR has been received extremely well by the audiences, as evidenced by its mindblowing box-office collections. The Hindi version of the film has gone on to rake in Rs 240 crores, whereas the project’s global collections are inching closer to the Rs 1000 crore mark.
The makers of the film had good reason to be elated by its resounding success and celebrated the 1000 crore milestone with a star-studded party.
Called the ‘Grand Success Party’, the extravaganza was led by RRR leads Ram Charan and Jr. NTR, director SS Rajamouli, and Producer D.V.V. Danayya. Also seen were Bollywood royalty, Karan Johar, Javed Akhtar and Aamir Khan, among others.
Amidst the party buzz, fans of Aamir Khan set the rumour mills turning, by keenly noting the respect and admiration the Dangal star received from his southern counterparts.
One particular Twitter user wrote, “The Level of Respect they Have For #AamirKhan is UNMATCHABLE! Every Director & producer wants to Sign him. Hustle, Power & Respect!”

The same user also said, “The #Aamirkhan and #ssRajamouli combo has been a dream for many, and there have always been requests from fans for the two giants to collaborate for a project”

While a popular OTT content analysis portal worded what was clearly on every Aamir Khan fan’s mind, “Two legends of Indian cinema. An #AamirKhan - @SSRajamouli collab is what we want next”.

But this wasn’t received too well by a certain section of Twitter users, who chimed in with their remarks.
Referring to a comment made long back by Aamir Khan where he had discussed the state of intolerance in the country, the troll made his presence felt, “The left one's feel intolerance in India. Turkey is calling you!”. While another user with a preference for South Indian films requested Bollywood to stay clear of the industry, “No we don’t, bollywood people don’t pollute south industry.”
Finally, there was this user who wasted no time in voicing their opinions on this matter, “No
Aamir khan don't do logicless movie. RRR is a typical telugu film where hero with knees got hurt really bad and with bow & arrow kills entire British army who has all guns & artilleries”
What do you think? Should SS Rajamouli and Aamir Khan get together for a film together? Or are they better off not ruining their reputation? Let us know in the comments below.
