We're heading into the Big Bollywood Wedding season again with lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt finally tying the knot.

According to reports, Ranbir and Alia's wedding guest list is an interesting one, with there being some celebs not invited to the wedding.
    © Instagram/Alia Bhatt
In light of this, we thought it would be good to remember a few Bollywood superstars who were not invited to big Bollywood weddings in the past:
    1. Salman Khan © Instagram/Salman Khan
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was not invited to the fabulous Italian wedding of Anushka Sharma and India's cricketing superstar Virat Kohli.

As per reports, Salman had said something about Virat, which did not go down well the sporting hero.
This could be seen as one of the reasons why Salman did not get an invitation to the reception of Anushka and Virat.
    2. Deepika Padukone © Instagram/Deepika Padukone
Deepika wasn't invited to the dream wedding of Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal.

    Why? Well, isn't it obvious?
There's a lot of history between the two related to Ranbir Kapoor, with the Brahmastra actor dating both of them. It is also said that Deepika felt betrayed by Ranbir, who went onto date Katrina.
    3. Shahid Kapoor © Instagram/Shahid Kapoor
Shahid Kapoor, who is set to star in his latest film Jersey alongside Mrunal Thakur, wasn't invited to the wedding of his ex-girlfriend Kareena Kapoor Khan, who married Saif Ali Khan.

Speaking about it earlier, Shahid had revealed, "About Kareena, I don't remember, it was a while. I don't think I was invited."
The two actors had dated each other for several years before parting ways, and the actor had publicly spoken about their bad breakup.
The two starred in Jab We Met and looks like it was the only good thing people will remember seeing them in for a while.
    4. Priyanka Chopra Jonas © Instagram/Priyanka Chopra Jonas
Priyanka was reportedly not invited to the star wedding of Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif last year.

According to reports, there is a certain cold war that runs between Katrina and Priyanka, which actually started because of Ranbir Kapoor. Strange, right?
Apparently, the two are still not the best of friends in Bollywood.
    5. Kangana Ranaut © Instagram/ Kangana Ranaut
Let's just say that Kangana's reputation of having a tiff with everyone is a reason for her not being invited to many social events in Bollywood now.

Well, it looked like the same case when the Queen actress wasn't invited to the wedding of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.
Both Kangana and Deepika have had a 'Chattis Ka Aakra' and doesn't look like getting solved anytime soon.

Over the years, Bollywood or the Hindi film industry has produced a number of cult comedy classics that never fail to entertain us and leave us split.

Back in the ‘60s & ‘70s, the humour in Hindi films used to be situational which changed to slapstick and physical in the ‘90s & early ‘00s.
Some of the most loved comedy films of all time in the Hindi film industry include Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi, Chupke Chupke, Golmaal, Andaz Apna Apna, Dulhe Raja, Hera Pheri, Hungama, Hulchul, Malamaal Weekly, Dhamaal & Welcome among others.
However, unfortunately, some of the most popular and hilarious comedy scenes in these films weren’t original and were blatantly lifted from Hollywood and other international films.
Here’s a look at 5 such iconic comedy scenes in Bollywood that were copied:
    1. Dhamaal (2007) © maruti International
Directed by Indra Kumar, there is not much original about this 2007 cult hit. While its basic plot is lifted from It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World & Rat Race, the gags in the film were lifted directly from multiple international films.

Remember the car jump scene in the film? Well, that was taken as it is from the 2000 film Road Trip.
    Watch the two scenes below:

Similarly, the intro scene of Riteish Deshmukh’s character was taken from Rowan Atkinson’s Johnny English.
    Check it out below:

    2. Malamaal Weekly (2006) © Sahara One Motion Pictures
There is a highly hilarious scene towards the climax of the film where Rajpal Yadav’s character sits on a cycle that is without its seat. Well, that sequence is lifted from Jackie Chan’s 1983 film Project A.

Check out both the scenes below:

    3. Deewane Huye Paagal (2005)  © UTV Motion Pictures
The main plot of the film was lifted from the 1998 film There’s Something About Mary and so were its comedy scenes.

There is a sequence in the film where Akshay Kumar’s character accidentally kills Rimi Sen’s character’s pet dog.
Check out both the copied & the original scene below:
     4. Housefull (2010)  © Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment
In the first half of this Sajid Khan directorial, there is a scene where Akshay Kumar gets involved in a slap battle with a monkey. The scene was the highlight of the film but was far from original.

It was lifted from Ben Stiller’s comedy movie Night At The Museum.
Check out the two scenes below:

    5. Om Shanti Om (2007)  © Red Chillies Entertainment
Akshay Kumar’s cameo scene in Shah Rukh Khan’s Om Shanti Om where we see footage of him shooting at robbers is actually taken as it is from the 2003 Swedish comedy film Kopps.

    Check out the scenes below:

With the 2017 blockbuster Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, SS Rajamouli became the first director in the history of Indian cinema to hit the unthinkable Rs 1000 crore mark at the worldwide box office.
Now, with his latest blockbuster RRR, he has become the only director to have two films in the Rs 1000 crore club.
The movie has not only become the biggest blockbuster of the year but has also reached the third spot in the list of highest-grossing films of all time in Indian cinema.
However, there are six upcoming films that have the potential to take down RRR at the box office.
    Check out the list below:
    1. Pathaan  © Yash Raj Films
Marking the comeback of the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, Pathaan also stars Deepika Padukone & John Abraham. The movie directed by Siddharth Anand is a part of Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe and is carrying massive buzz around it.

While a sure shot record-breaking opening is a given, if the content clicks with the audience, it also has the potential to beat the box office records of RRR.
The movie opens during Republic Day 2023.
    2. KGF: Chapter 2  © Hombale Films
Releasing on April 14, 2022, KGF: Chapter 2 starring Yash in the lead role is a sequel to the mass entertainer KGF: Chapter 1 that released in 2018 and surprised everyone with its record-breaking business.

The hype around the second part helmed by Prashanth Neel is unparalleled at the moment. With the presence of Sanjay Dutt & Raveena Tandon, it won’t be a surprise if KGF: Chapter 2 breaks RRR’s box office records.
    3. Brahmastra  © Dharma Productions
Touted to be the biggest film to come out of Indian cinema and the most expensive Hindi film ever made, Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Nagarjuna & Amitabh Bachchan is a superhero fantasy that can create new milestones for Indian cinema.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, this Karan Johar production may turn out to be a massive money-spinner and can shatter RRR records. The film releases on September 9, 2022.
    4. Tiger 3  © Yash Raj Films
A sequel to Ek Tha Tiger & Tiger Zinda Hai, which is Salman Khan’s biggest domestic grosser, Tiger 3 will be a follow up of sorts to Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan.

Directed by Maneesh Sharma and co-starring Katrina Kaif & Emraan Hashmi, Tiger 3 is a sure shot blockbuster but the movie can also surprise & surpass RRR box office upon its release during Eid 2023.
    5. Adipurush  © Instagram/Om Raut
Even though his recent release Radhe Shyam turned out to be the biggest disaster in the history of Indian cinema with reported losses of over Rs 110 crore, one can’t rule out the star of Baahubali films, yet.

His take on Lord Ram in Om Raut’s Adipurush is keenly awaited. And the icing on the cake will be Saif Ali Khan’s version of Raavan. The film also stars Kriti Sanon & Sunny Singh.
The film is slated to release on January 12, 2023.
    6. Laal Singh Chaddha  © Aamir Khan Productions
Despite SS Rajamouli’s back to back all-time blockbusters, if there is one record that has eluded him then that is the highest-grossing film in Indian cinema.

That record is with Aamir Khan with his 2016 sports biopic Dangal.
So, if there is one film that truly has what it takes to leave behind RRR at the box office and create new records then it is Laal Singh Chaddha.
The remake of Hollywood classic Forrest Gump, Laal Singh Chaddha is helmed by Advait Chandan & also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan & Naga Chaitanya.
The film is slated for an August 11, 2022 release.

After the success of A Thursday, Yami Gautam is all set to entertain fans with her latest release, Dasvi. Co-starring Abhishek Bachchan and Nimrat Kaur in the lead roles, the film premiered on Netflix and JioCinema today (April 7) and is getting a positive response from fans.
    View this post on Instagram
While celebrities always look forward to the reviews of their films, Yami isn't too happy with one of them. Taking to social media, the Vicky Donor actress slammed a portal over Dasvi criticism and stated the platform "keeps trying to pull you down consistently" and that's why she decided to speak about it.
She also shared a screenshot from the portal's Dasvi review which states that Yami's combative smile is starting to get repetitive.
Expressing her disappointment on Twitter, Yami wrote, "Before I say anything else, I’d like to say that I usually take constructive criticism in my stride. But when a certain platform keeps trying to pull you down consistently, I felt it necessary to speak up about it".

Slamming the portal further, she said, "It takes years of hard work for anyone & especially a self-made actor like me to keep proving our mettle again & again with every opportunity. This is what it comes down to from certain reputed portals!"

It's heartbreaking since I did look up to @FilmCompanion once upon a time, like many of us, but I don't seek that since long now! I would request you not to 'review' my performance henceforth ! I'll find grace in that & it'll be less painful.

For the unversed, Dasvi is directed by Tushar Jalota and revolves around the importance of education in today's times.

Some of the biggest actors in this country are big courtesy the money they earn and the love of their fans, which make them a ‘superstar’. However, fans are emotional about their favourite stars in a certain way and love to watch them in a certain way as well. So it's only natural that what may click for one industry may not spell the same sentiments for another.

Here are 6 South Indian actresses who enjoy a stupendous successful career and a loyal fan base down South but have not been able to find the same amount of success in Bollywood:
    1. RambhaOne of the easiest memories us 90s kids have of this beautiful actress in Bollywood is when we watched her opposite Salman Khan in Judwaa. While her Bollywood stint wasn’t too big, she has acted in films made in over eight languages in a career spanning over two decades.
    View this post on Instagram
    2. Kajal AggarwalShe is one of the biggest names down South and has many awards to her credit. While Kajal has worked in some super successful movies in Tollywood, she couldn’t replicate the same success in Bollywood and was seen in Rohit Shetty’s Singham.
    View this post on Instagram
    3. Pooja HegdeOne of the top actresses in Tollywood who is currently being seen in Radhey Shyam opposite Prabhas made her grand Bollywood debut with Mohenjadaro. While Pooja continues to do some big budget movies with the best production houses, her fan base in Bollywood is nothing as compared to her craze down South.
    View this post on Instagram
    4. Trisha KrishnanShe is fondly referred to as the ‘queen of South’ amongst her Kollywood fans and has many successful movies to her credit. Trisha tried her hand in Bollywood with Khattha Meetha opposite Akshay Kumar but couldn’t work her magic here.

    5. Tamannaah BhatiaA renowned name in Tamil and Telugu movie industries, Tamanaah is one of the top current leading actresses. Her stint in Bollywood movies however has not been as strong sadly.

    6. Shriya SaranOne of the biggest and the highest paid actresses of Tollywood, Shriya was last seen in a cameo in RRR. Her name is synonymous with a lot of big movies but in Bollywood, her success rate has been quite low.

Deepak Hooda and Krunal Pandya kept their differences aside when they took the field for Lucknow Super Giants in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) for the first time since their infamous spat, that saw Hooda leaving the Baroda team during a domestic competition.
Fans were keen to see how both players would be able to play for the same franchise after such a big fight, but to everyone's surprise, the duo played the game as if nothing ever happened between them.

Hooda played a fighting knock in LSG's campaign opener and as he was walking back to the dugout after being dismissed, Krunal gave him a pat on the back.
Later in the day, when they were defending a total against fellow debutants Gujarat Titans, the duo celebrated wickets by hugging each other.
Krunal and Hooda have played three matches for LSG, so far, and there were no signs of any bad blood between the two. Hooda, in a recent interaction with a Hindi website, opened up on his relationship with Kunal and also on the fight that took place last year.

"Krunal and I are brothers. And brothers do fight. We are a team and we have one goal that is to win," Hooda was quoted as saying by Dainik Jagran.
When asked about what he felt when he got to know that he will share the dressing room with Krunal after the auction, the 26-year-old all-rounder said he did not follow the auction and that he met Krunal like he met the rest of the team.
Hooda further asserted that everything was in the past and that his priority right now is to win matches for the team and push the team up the ladder.
Fans on social media credited LSG's mentor Gautam Gambhir for creating peace between the two all-rounders.

    — Cric-Crazy Lad (@CricCrazyLad) April 7, 2022Deepak Hooda seems to be enjoying playing under KL Rahul's captaincy. He is LSG's highest run-scorer this season with 119 runs in three outings. On the other hand, Krunal too is cherishing a new role at LSG. The left-arm spinner has picked up three wickets but he has also managed to keep the scoring rate in check in the middle overs.
Based on current form, LSG looks like the team to beat this season and they would want to continue that momentum when they take on Delhi Capitals in their next match on Thursday (April 7).

SS Rajamouli's latest release RRR, featuring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, in the lead roles, has turned out to be a huge hit at the box office. Earlier this week, producer Dil Raju hosted a grand success bash for the film's team in Hyderabad where Rajamouli was seen dancing to Naatu Naatu song with director Anil Ravipudi.

After Hyderabad, a success party was organised in Mumbai on Wednesday as the film is set to cross the Rs. 1000 crore mark globally. Along with Jr NTR and Ram Charan, various Bollywood celebs including Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, and Ayan Mukerji attended the bash.

Bigg Boss fame Rakhi Sawant, who too was among the attendees, stole the limelight with her funny antics. A video is currently doing the rounds on social media in which she is seen interacting with the RRR stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR along with other celebrities at the bash.

Viral Bhayani, a popular paparazzi, has shared the video on his official Instagram account in which Rakhi is calling Ram Charan her favourite actor. She then requests him to do the Naatu Naatu step with her, however, the actor humbly refuses.

Giving a glimpse of Ayan Mukerji, Rakhi then goes to Karan, who can be seen chatting with someone and ignores her completely. At last, she meets Jr NTR and congratulates him on the film's success. Take a look at the video below:

Everyone who thought that the feud between Shark Tank India’s infamous judge Ashneer Grover and his management at BharatPe was out of fuel and over for good, has a surprise in store, because as it turns out, the fight is still on and going strong.
To quickly catch you up, Ashneer Grover along with his wife Madhuri Jain had an ugly fallout with BharatPe after Madhuri Jain was sacked on charges of ‘misappropriation of funds, while Ashneer Grover subsequently was ‘forced to quit’ after being ‘vilified by the investors.
    View this post on Instagram
Since then, the husband and wife had taken to social media quite a few times to raise an eyebrow at the BharatPe board and accuse them of a lot of things including, ‘orgies’ at the office.
And while one may think that everything is in the past now, seems like the war of words is being continued, this time not on Twitter, but on LinkedIn.
    © linkedIn
We say this after a post by a BharatPe employee gained some traction after Ashneer Grover commented on it.

The employee had complained about not being paid his salary and wrote, “Dear Suhail and Shashvat Sir, we haven’t received our salary for March month yet despite following up so many times on email and visiting the office. All the old admin staff of BharatPe have been terminated by you without giving any reason and their salaries have not been paid. We were with BharatPe ever since the Company started and now we are nowhere because of your internal politics.”
    © linkedIn
Soon after, Ashneer dropped by in the comments section as he wrote, “Folks please look into this. Not done - their salaries have to be paid before anything else.” And not just him, his sister Ashima also gave out her two cents in the comment section and that is when sh*t hit the fan.

    © linkedIn
    Grover’s sister wrote, “That’s the sad part… That it’s a shameless bunch!”

Irked by the comment, Suhail Sameer, CEO OF BharatPe replied with sass and salt as he wrote, “Aashima behen - tere bhai ne saara paisa chura liya hai. Very little left to pay salaries.”

Robin Uthappa, who is currently playing for Chennai Super Kings, has played for a total of six franchises in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Uthappa made his IPL debut with Mumbai Indians in 2008 and a year later, he shifted base to Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Recalling his moves from one team to another over the years, Uthappa shared an interesting anecdote from 2009 when he was apparently forced to sign transfer papers to join Royal Challengers Bangalore from Mumbai Indians.
Tough one to take, but we will roar again! @ChennaiIPL #Yellove #WhistlePodu pic.twitter.com/uRRbkogNhV
    — Robin Aiyuda Uthappa (@robbieuthappa) March 31, 2022
Uthappa was talking to Ravichandran Ashwin on the latter's YouTube show when he recalled how his loyalty towards Mumbai Indians was not allowing him to make the move to RCB.
"So, I was along with Zaheer Khan and Manish Pandey. I was one of the first people to be transferred in IPL. For me, it became extremely difficult because my loyalties were completely laid out with MI at that point. It happened a month before the IPL and I refused to sign the transfer papers," Uthappa said.
    Watch the video here:

"I was going through something in my personal life and I was completely into depression during my first season with RCB. I didn't play well even for one game that season. The only game in which I did well was when I was dropped and picked again. I played thinking that I really needed to do something in this match. Someone from MI, I won't name him, had told me that if I didn't sign the transfer papers, I'd not get to play in the XI for MI," he added.
Well whoever conveyed the message to Uthappa to change from Mumbai Indians, helped him find his mojo back. He was not scoring much with MI in the first season and struggled with RCB as well in 2009.

2021 - Helped CSK to defeat KKR in the #IPL2021 final

But after changing and chopping teams, he found success with Kolkata Knight Riders in 2014. Uthappa smashed 660 runs to win the Orange Cap and played a key role in KKR winning their second IPL title.
The 36-year-old moved to CSK last year and did not play many games but towards the business end of the tournament MS Dhoni trusted his good friend to deliver and he repaid the faith by playing a blinder in the 1st qualifier against Delhi Capitals and another quick-fire knock against his old franchise KKR in the summit clash.
