Ranveer Singh, who was last seen in Kabir Khan's underperformer 83, is all set to entertain fans with his next titled Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Earlier scheduled to release on February 25, 2022, the Yash Raj Films-backed project got delayed amid the third COVID-19 wave. But now, the makers have finally announced the new release date of Jayeshbhai Jordaar.Β

Featuring Arjun Reddy fame Shalini Pandey as the leading lady, Jayeshbhai Jordaar will now release in theatres on May 13. Taking to Twitter, Ranveer unveiled the new date in a quirky announcement video. He wrote, "Naam hai JAYESHBHAI…Aur kaam hai JORDAAR!!! Chegg out the date announcement video. Celebrate #JayeshbhaiJordaar with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you on 13th May".

The announcement has left moviegoers excited who are eagerly waiting for the release of Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Reacting to Ranveer's tweet, a user wrote, "Yayyyyy... just can’t wait to watch this amazing masterpiece... Dhamaka hone vala hai".
Another Twitter user commented, "Best announcement video..watching on repeat Bhai". A third tweet reads, "Waiting for trailer". Here are a few reactions:

β€” 𝓃 (@Ranveers_Pixie) March 3, 2022Interestingly, Jayeshbhai Jordaar will be clashing with two other big Bollywood films at the box office. Besides Ranveer's film, Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer Anek and Sidharth Malhotra's Mission Majnu too will be hitting the big screens on the same date.Β
    View this post on Instagram
Directed by Anubhav Sinha, Anek is touted to be a spy thriller that revolves around the geo-political backdrop of Northeast India. It has been shot in many places around Northeast India, including Assam and Meghalaya's Shillong.Β

Mission Majnu, on the other hand, marks Rashmika Mandanna's Bollywood debut. Helmed by Shantanu Bagchi, this film too is a spy thriller which is based on true events that occurred in the 1970s and tells the narrative of India's most daring operation into Pakistan's heartland, which forever transformed the two countries' relationship.Β
On the same day, another film, Aankh Micholi, starring Abhimanyu Dassani, will be released, but Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Mission Majnu, and Anek are undoubtedly the three big films.

Coming back to Jayeshbhai Jordaar, it is directed by debutante Divyang Thakkar and produced by YRF's Maneesh Sharma, who has helmed films like Band Baaja Baaraat, Fan among others. The film will see Ranveer playing a Gujarati man.

    Baap Baap Hota Hai!
We've heard this iconic dialogue so many times, and it will probably never get old. But, might we replace it with something for the time being when speaking about Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's return to movies and more?Β
    King King Hota Hai!
    Β© Instagram
Yes! The Bollywood King or Badshaah is truly back!

It has been a long time since we saw Shah Rukh in his full glory on social media or even during a public presence.
We know, he, along with his family, endured a torrid time last year and he's tried to keep away from the limelight since then. However, it now looks like the King is slowly and steadily coming back to the place where he belongs. The world of entertainment.
It's true! We've missed him and especially his wit. After all, there are so many stars in Bollywood, but none quite like Shah Rukh Khan!Β
Without digressing any further, we'd like to tell you that King Khan recently made an official announcement about his upcoming film Pathaan, which stars Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, as well as Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who is set to make a big cameo appearance in the film.
    I know it’s late… But remember the date… Pathaan time starts now…

See you in cinemas on 25th January, 2023.

Releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Not just that, post the announcement, Shah Rukh had some treat for the fans as he announced that he'd take part in an AMA session on Twitter, which marked his return to the social networking site.

And boy, did he entertain people with his answers. We already know how intellectually superior Shah Rukh really is. His tongue-in-cheek answers and instant replies are a thing of legend in Bollywood and even outside of it.

Well, he took part in the session, and here are some of his top answers!

One fan asked King Khan why he was so late in making an announcement regarding Pathaan.

    β€” Shahrukh Khan (@Shahruk54784647) March 2, 2022
To this Shah Rukh replied, "Der aaye durust aaye….nahin??? (roughly translating to 'better late than never, no?')"

    Ok next time I will be β€˜Khabardaar’ #Pathaan https://t.co/ZSdMxjTpRm
β€” Shah Rukh Khan (@iamsrk) March 2, 2022One fan then asked Shah Rukh about his film. "Do you think β€žPathanβ€œ fits the expectations of most of your fans?" Well, he got an answer that just goes on to show how polished Shah Rukh truly is.

Another fan had a funny question for SRK, with the question almost being on the similar line of something that is often asked in the Instagram comments section of former WWE wrestler Khali.
The fan asked Shah Rukh, "sir padhai kaise karu acche se mann nahi lagta? #AskSRK"
To this Shah Rukh replied, "Dimaag try kar shaayad work karega…Mann pyaar ke liye rakh."

Soon after a few more questions, King Khan ended his AMA session!

Let's hope he has a wonderful year ahead with more and more announcements about future projects.

Although S Sreesanth went without a bid during the IPL 2022 mega auction, the pacer has been making an impression on the domestic circuit. One of his videos has gone viral in which he could be seen celebrating his first wicket in nine years in the most traditional and modest way possible.Β
In the game against Meghalaya, the 39-year-old Kerala cricketer scooped up Aryan Bora's wicket and presented his "Pranaam" to the cricket turf. In the first innings, he had statistics of 2 for 40 in 11.5 overs, but he did not take any wickets in the second.

Kerala defeated Meghalaya by an innings and 166 runs in the Ranji match, with Ponnan Rahul (147) and Rohan Kunnummal (107) reaching the three-figure mark. In the second innings, Basil Thami and Jalaj Saxena took four and three wickets, respectively, to knock Meghalaya out for just 191 runs.
β€œNow that’s my 1st wicket after 9 long years..gods grace I was just over joyed and giving my Pranaam to the wicket .. #grateful #cricket #ketalacricket #bcci #india #Priceless,” Sreesanth wrote in his tweet as he shared the video from is social media handle.

    β€” Sreesanth (@sreesanth36) March 2, 2022
Sreesanth, who was a member of India's World Cup-winning squad in 2011, didn't play in Kerala's second Elite Group A match against Gujarat, and it's unclear whether he'll play against Madhya Pradesh.
Fans were in absolute awe of the kind of humility and humbleness he showed after his achievement which once used to be an everyday affair with the speedster back when he was one of the Men in Blue.

β€” Rishabh Jaiswal #VaccinatedΓ—2 (@veg_biryani_) March 3, 2022Sreesanth represented India in 27 Tests, 53 ODIs, and 10 T20Is before receiving a life ban for his role in the 2013 IPL spot-fixing scam. However, when his life ban was reduced to seven years in August of 2019, he expressed interest in returning to professional cricket. The paceman had said that he was ready to give it his all and believed he had another five to seven years of cricket left in him.
His reduced ban, which expired in September 2021, paved the way for his return to the game. Sreesanth returned to competitive cricket last year when he played for Kerala against Puducherry in a Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match. He marked his comeback with the dismissal of opponent batsman Fabid Ahmed, giving him 29/1 in his four-over quota.

The right-handed pacer had also registered for the latest IPL mega auction, but no offers were received. The starting price for Sreesanth was Rs. 50 lakh.
His Kerala colleagues Basil Thampi and KM Asif, on the other hand, found buyers in the Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings, respectively. Thampi was signed by Mumbai for a fee of 30 lakh, while Asif was signed by Chennai for a fee of 20 lakh.
