There are some perceptions about our favourite celebs which are extremely hard to break, even if you try. There is a reason why Aamir Khan is called a perfectionist. From taking years on a movie and changing his physical appearance for every project, the man is truly dedicated to his art. Now one might think that it is an acquired taste of giving insane amount of hard work to everything he does, but the man has probably always been like this.

There is an old video of Aamir Khan before his debut movie Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak released in the year 1988 where he is promoting his own film. Back then there was no social media to run promotional campaigns and movies were actually promoted through advertisements of radio, TV and posters.
So naturally there was a team of people putting posters on autos, billboards and walls to make sure people knew a film was releasing. Being a new actor, the guy left no stone unturned and actually took to Mumbai streets where he put posters on rickshaws and autos himself.

The video also shows his co-star and actor Rajendranath Zutshi pasting posters all over the city. The video also had people going nostalgic on how cinema used to be and going to a movie used to be a big deal!

The actor lives in Mumbai with his family and already owns two holiday homes in Goa and Khandala. In an interview with ETimes, he explained why he decided to buy another vaction home. “I have holiday homes in Goa and Khandala, so there was no reason to find one more. But, since 2017, I was looking for a property, which would be an extension of my home in South Mumbai, and now, given the quick access to Alibaug, I thought it would be a good idea to buy this home,” he said.

Lately, it’s been happening anywhere and everywhere. In bed late at night when you’re binging on a sci-fi thriller, at the supermarket while buying eggs, in the shower when you’re lost in a train of thoughts or even at work, absolutely unannounced. We are talking about your hard-on, which has been sneaking up on you like an Indian parent on their teen son.
And it’s making you wonder, what is even going on? We might have just the answer to it, but for that, we’d have to go a little deep (pun intended).

Whether it is waking up with a boner or masturbating yourself each day, several times to the point where you feel like your soul has been sucked out of your body, the real question here isn’t whether or not you’re too horny, it is ‘whether it is normal?’.

And the answer to that is a YES.
Horniness is described as, “sexual attraction or sexual excitement” and it follows the same principle as any other emotion - it isn’t one size fits all. Each person is different and as are their sexual preferences and even their libido. For some, it might be less and that would work just fine for their comfort, for others it may be relatively higher, and no matter what the society has you believe, it really is normal.

In the words of clinical sexologist, and sexuality and relationships expert Sarah Melancon, “The key difference between 'normal' or healthy sexuality and concerning sexuality is the presence of distress about your sexuality, a sense the behaviour is out of control, and/or negative, real-world consequences to your sexual behaviour."

Simply put, to answer how much horny is too horny, is ultimately a matter of your comfort with the idea.
If for you, having a *** drive that is higher than others, considering each person has a different sexual appetite, is normal, then nothing should be cast as ‘too much’. However, the moment one starts feeling uncomfortable with the frequency at which they’re finding themselves aroused, that might be when things need to be put under a check.

And that is where the difference between high *** drive and having a *** addiction comes into play.

Sexual addiction or hypersexuality is described as, “persistent and repetitive sexual impulses or urges that are experienced as irresistible or uncontrollable, leading to repetitive sexual behaviours.”
It is important to identify the difference between the two, which is mainly characterized by your ability to control what you’re feeling. If you feel that your sexual desire is not consuming you, as any other addiction does, then you’re okay. But if you feel like you don’t really have a say in how you feel and ergo react, that is when it would be advised to visit a doctor.

Although the catch here, and also the reason our mind does not rationally think about it this way, is that society, at large, has attached a lot of stigma and shame to one’s sexuality. ***, if not done for the purpose of procreation, is always seen as a sin or a dark, all-consuming thing.

And it’s because of that preconceived notion, anything related to *** - whether it is porn or masturbation, is automatically looked down upon. Which is why, most men often feel conflicted with their *** drive.
Hence, as long as a person feels comfortable and in control of their sexual desire, it isn’t something to be worried about or be ashamed of.
