When Southern superstar Nagarjuna and Tabu were seen together in the 1996 romantic film Ninne Pelladata, the chemistry was undeniable and fans instantly wanted to see them do more movies together. The actor was earlier married to Lakshmi Daggubati, but the couple called it quits and he eventually married actress Amala. While his family life was sorted, rumours of him being too close to his good friend Tabu started doing the rounds.

It was reported that the two dated for over 10 years before it was obvious that his family life was disturbed so they called it quits. Tabu and Nagarjuna's wife were also best of friends and apparently Tabu always stayed at their house when she visited Hyderabad. It was obviously never confirmed if they were indeed together but a lot of media reports and sources claim they were very much together.
In an interview with TOI, Nagarjuna addressed the rumours and spoke about their friendship. “Yes, Tabu is a fantastic friend of mine. Our friendship dates back to when I was 21 or 22 and she was only 16. It's almost like half a life...There is less talk about our friendship. I have nothing to hide about her. When you mention her name, my face lights up... It's that simple. Well, when I say things like that, if you want to read them, it's your point of view...For me she is a beautiful person and a beautiful friend. She always will be,” he said.

Even his wife Amala had dismissed the rumours and in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, she mentioned that she was unaffected. “When there are serious issues like the blasts and the flood affecting Mumbai, are people actually wondering about what Amala's best friend is doing in her home? It's really saddening. Nobody should bother what happens under my roof. I am happy. I'm sure even she must be hurt, but we never discuss it. Tabu is one of the persons, besides Danny Denzongpa, my rakhi brother, from Mumbai who I am in touch with. And, yes, she stays with us when she comes here," she said.

The trailer of Pratik Gandhi and Richa Chadha starrer The Great Indian Murder is out now and it looks promising. The trailer has piqued the interest of the viewers and this show is on our binge watch list. It's exciting to see Pratik in a series post Scam 1992. The trailer shows Richa Chadha and Pratik playing investigating officers who have been tasked to solve the murder of a politician’s (played by Ashutosh Rana) son, Vicky Rai.
With such talented cast on board, we can surely expect a roller-coaster ride. The cast also features Raghubir Yadav, Shashank Arora, and Sharib Hashmi in pivotal roles. Helmed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, The Great Indian Murder is based on the novel Six Suspects by writer Vikas Swarup whose book Q&A was adapted into the Oscar-winning Slumdog Millionaire. The series has been bankrolled by Ajay Devgn and Reel Life Entertainment.
The official synopsis reads as, “Vicky Rai is the cunning 32-year-old owner of the Rai Group of Industries and son of the Home Minister of Chhattisgarh, Jagannath Rai. Vicky Rai gets murdered in cold blood in a party thrown by him to celebrate his acquittal in a rape and murder case of two Shelter Home girls. Six suspects surrounding his murder come under the radar of the case’s investigating officers DCP Sudha Bhardwaj and Suraj Yadav of Central Bureau of Investigation. Vicky Rai’s case has also put an unintended halt in his father, Jagannath Rai’s political career which he tries to win by fair or foul means, even after Vicky’s death. The Great Indian Murder is about exploring several versions of a single murder, a story that Sudha and Suraj weave through their investigations.”
    Here’s the trailer:

Richa Chadha, who plays DCP Sudha Bhardwaj in the series, said in a statement as per the PR handout, “Thrillers have always been an exciting genre for me – it challenges you greatly and stretches your capabilities as an actor. When I read the script for The Great Indian Murder, I knew instantly that it was a project I wanted to be a part of. There’s an intriguing story to tell here, and Tigmanshu Dhulia is a brilliant director who was there for me and for the rest of the cast to guide and direct. Each character in this series has an intense motive and justification for their actions – it is somewhat relatable, yet nerve-wracking. It is an exemplary example of a thriller series writing which only Tigmanshu Dhulia could have pulled off! Can’t wait to see the audience’s reaction to it.”

Meanwhile, Pratik Gandhi, who will be seen portraying the role of a CBI officer, said about the show, “I wanted to be very thoughtful about my next digital outing and The Great Indian Murder and Disney+ Hostar seemed like the perfect choice. My character Suraj Yadav was a whole new challenge for me. He is someone who represents the law but never shies away from breaking it or mending it to ease his way. This grey layer and his easy transition between the dark and light sides make him special and very human.”
After watching the trailer, people are recommending the show to everyone as they think it’s an interesting story to tell. They are also rooting for the strong cast and have already declared it as a masterpiece.

Human is a medical thriller starring Shefali Shah and Kirti Kulhari in lead roles. Helmed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Mozez Singh, the show explores the dark and ugly world of human medical trials.
The official synopsis of the show reads, “A pharma giant is using India’s lax clinical trial rules to fast track the development of a new drug, despite lethal side effects. Meanwhile, 35-year-old Dr Saira Sabharwal lands a dream job in Bhopal’s premier hospital under the mentorship of the iconic 45-year-old Dr Gauri Nath. Saira grows under Gauri’s tutelage and as the two women start to form a deep bond over their commitment to the medical cause. However, a shocking discovery throws their life into chaos as their story becomes intertwined with that of a young migrant worker, Mangu, who is all set to wreak havoc on the medical system.”
    Here’s the trailer:

The show also touches upon the aspect of homosexuality and Kirti had to share an intimate moment with Shefali In the show. In an interview with Hindustan Times , she has talked about playing a queer and sharing a chemistry with female lead actor.
    View this post on Instagram
Talking about it, Kirti said, "There are times our (Shefali and Kirti's) hands touch (in the show), and we also have a kissing scene. I mean, of course, I am an actor, of course, I am up for it; but it is still strange for me. I have never done this before. It is still strange for me to create that chemistry for a woman, to really give the expressions I would, falling for a guy. It is different."

She added, "I did go from one point to another. I knew no preparation could prepare me for it, it was at that moment. I had to wire myself in a way to go beyond the idea of genders and that is when I realized it is not about whether it is a man or a woman in front of me but about the feeling, it is about what I am feeling for the person."
Talking about shooting the kissing scene in Human, the actor said, "I think the most nervous person for the kissing scene was my director Mozez Singh. I was only (thinking) ‘what if I kiss her and feel something, what if I get turned on?’ That will be something, I will then have to sit back and think if I am also looking at women. That is the only thing I had. We did not rehearse. My director made us do some 8-10 takes for getting different angles of the kiss. We did it the first time, and we were like ‘ok,’ I was relieved thinking 'thank God koi feeling nahi aya (there was no feeling)'. Then Mozez came back and asked us to give more takes."
    View this post on Instagram
She went on to elaborate, “After the first couple of takes, we went at it like robots. That is what it is, *** on screen, or kissing on screen. People wonder about it but it is the most boring thing. You have 100 people around and there is no privacy. You are at the mercy of your director saying ‘action-cut, action-cut.’ You do not have the time for feeling, trust me.” She also revealed that Shefali told her that it was the first time that she has kissed on screen.
She also stressed on the fact how the show has helped her see a very different perspective and understand the world beyond genders.
“I went beyond genders and that is a very liberating space for me. Somehow we are wired as a society that it is always about male versus female. So much is defined based on your gender,” she concluded.

Work from home was a luxury before the pandemic. Little did we know, it would one day become our worst nightmare.
The perk that we thought was the ultimate solution to our messed up work-life balance before, has now officially become ‘the problem’ itself during the last couple of years since it has blurred the line between our personal and professional life.

Working remotely is certainly not easy and results in the same or worse degree of burnout since there is no EOD.

However, people who have made a difference in their life by managing the exhausting schedules and toxic work culture have shared some pearls of wisdom on a social media community and it can help you out.
    © iStock
Here are people who have mastered the art of work-life and have shared the best advice and tips on how to strike a perfect balance and not let your work take over your life:

    1. Set Your Work Hours & Don’t Entertain Coworkers Post Office Hours © iStock
"If you’re salaried, it’s hard to break the habits of an hourly worker. When you’re salaried, they pay you for your EXPERTISE, not your time. Don’t work more than your 40 hours, less if you can, because that isn’t why you’re paid anymore." —witchyribbon84

"Be clear with coworkers about boundaries and scheduling. If you work remote, shut your computer off at the same time every day. For the most part, unless your job is in a medical or safety field, no one will die if you send an email the next morning or return a phone call during your work hours. There are always going to be 'martyr' workers who think they are better for sacrificing their health or time for work. They are not better, and you can still get your job done during regular hours." —dellarock
    2. Block Your Calendar For Yourself"Put blocks on your calendar!! You deserve time to debrief, focus, eat, take a little nap, whatever you want. But don’t let your job take over your life."
    3. Let Some Things Be Undone © iStock
"Working from home makes the lines blur FAST — that's why my hard-and-fast rule is that when I log off for the day, I'm done — no logging back in at night, checking email from my phone or doing one more thing. I'll write myself a note or even leave myself a voicemail if I'm worried about something that comes to mind." —manningl428

"Leave when you are scheduled to leave. The work will still be there tomorrow." —dr-doctor
    4. Before & After You Start Work, Do Things You Love © iStock
"I struggled to WFH prepandemic (big procrastinator over here), but this year I’m enforcing a daily routine to ensure I work during my working hours and shut off my laptop at consistent times (when possible). Waking up 30 minutes earlier, I now spend my mornings stretching or exercising, cleaning up from the night before, getting dressed, all before 9 a.m. so I feel fully prepared for the day.” —isabossy

“It’s a small thing, but when I get home from work every day I take 45 minutes to sit, have a cuppa, and zone out to the TV before I start housework, dinner, etc. This allows me time to switch off from my work day and become fully engaged in being at home. It’s made my downtime more high quality.” —pritchette
    5. Create An At-Home Desk That You Leave  © iStock
"If you WFH, create a separate space that is just for work and only do work in that space, even if it's small. My apartment is small, so I took a corner in my bedroom and that is my work corner." —kroxdz

In recent years, we've certainly seen how there is a lot of changes in the country and so is its representation in the film industry which is Bollywood.
Gone are the times when you'd have to make an excuse to drink water whenever a kissing scene came on the tv screen when you'd be around your family.
I mean, if you still do that, that too, is quite fair as well.
What I'm essentially trying to say is that the times really have changed, and there is clearly more freedom given to filmmakers in terms of having more explicit scenes of sexual nature, instead of sticking the old formula of showing flowers brushing against each other.
    © iStock
However, these are still baby steps and people are still subject to getting offended with the scenes as they find them too vulgar for our society.

One similar incident was that of the 2009 Kurbaan movie that had starred Kareena Kapoor Khan and now husband Saif Ali Khan.
    © Netflix
Directed by Rensil D’Silva, the film had Kareena play the role of Avantika, a professor who falls in love with Saif's character only to later realize that he has a lot of hidden secrets locked in his life.

The movie, which starred had actors like Om Puri, Kirron Kher, Vivek Oberoi, and Dia Mirza did well at the box office.
However, other than its success, it also made news for its explicit *** scene between Saif and Kareena's character.

In fact, the poster too had Kareena sporting a topless back while standing with Saif, something that did not go well with the Shiv Sena Party, who considered it 'vulgar'.
As per reports, Shiv Sena then resorted to targeting Kareena for the bold photoshoot for the film poster with the party’s area Vibhagpramukh Jitendra Janawale even stating that they will present the actress with a Saree.
“We will soon visit Kareena’s residence and present her a saree,” he said.
However, when Kareena was later asked about the same she kept her cool and said that she didn't find anything vulgar with the poster.
“I do not find anything wrong with the poster. I think it is very aesthetic.” said the actress.
Answering about being gifted a Saree, Kareena replied, “I have not received any saree yet but I hope it will be a beautiful one.”
Kareena will now be seen starring in Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha, which is slated to release this year.
