    The day is here, fellow Harry Potter fans!

    After a period of almost a decade when we finally bid farewell to the movie franchise that was the Harry Potter series, we will get to see the stars of the movie return again in the reunion episode.
    Titled Return To Hogwarts, the Harry Potter 20th year Anniversary episode is airing on Prime Video and will see the original cast of the eight films return for what will be an opportunity of a lifetime.

    Stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint are returning to speak on their experiences of the films for the HBO Max special.

    Having said that though, did you know that there was this extra bit of meaty information that Emma had once revealed about her famous kiss with Rupert Grint.

    The two actors, who played the roles of Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, kissed in the final Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 film.
    However, while fans loved them finally getting to it in the movie, personally for them, the kiss really wasn't that great.
    According to Hindustan Times, speaking about in an old interview, Emma and Rupert both found it an awkward experience.

    “Obviously, us kissing was the most horrifying thing either of us has ever had to go through,” said Emma.

    This is when David Yates, the director of the final four Harry Potter films, pitched in, by saying, “I spoke to both of them in their trailers, made sure they were both comfortable. It was almost like prepping them for a major sports event.”
    Rupert, on the other hand, said he almost blacked out. Wow!
    “I think I kind of blacked out. I just remember your face getting closer and closer to mine,” said Rupert.
    Emma then labeled kissing Rupert 'wrong'.
    “(It was) like an actual horror show,”
    “Kissing Rupert was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. It just felt wrong, so wrong on every level because Dan, Rup, and I are so many siblings,” said Emma.
    Daniel Radcliffe, on the other hand, admitted that he made it even more awkward for them.
    “I did not make this better because I have been told significantly that I was just being an absolute d**k about this and being like, ‘I am going to come on set and watch you guys kiss'," said Daniel.
    The three actors will probably reveal a lot more in the special reunion episode.

    People often say that meeting your heroes is never a wise thing to do. Well, Ranveer Singh would like to vehemently disagree with the statement and anyone who espouses the same thought.

    Ranveer Singh hosted Govinda on his show, ‘The Big Picture,’ and had a massive fan moment. In fact, he just couldn’t stop fawning over the legendary actor.

    Back in the day, Govinda occupied the position that Ranveer holds today - dressing up in some of the wackiest clothes, performing rap sessions off the cuff, and turning the dial all the way up to 11 in whatever he does - Govinda was on a completely different level.

    Ranveer introduced Govinda to the audience, as his ‘God’. “On this blessed day, my God himself is coming to meet us. The one and only, the hero number one, Govinda," said Ranveer, who was very emotional at the beginning of the show.

    Another clip also showed Ranveer lying at Govinda's feet, holding them tight. Govinda seemed quite overwhelmed by all the love and attention.

    Ranveer went on to confess that he tries to emulate Govinda, in more ways than people realise.

    “Whether you think of my colourful and wacky outfits or my passion to rap, it all comes from the legendary star. People assume that I started rapping after Gully Boy. However, I have been a fan of the art form from much before that, all thanks to this man,” said Ranveer, all the while pointing towards Govinda. He eventually went on to dish out the rap portion of one of Govinda’s hit songs.

    The two of them also danced to a number of hits that Govinda has danced upon.

    Govinda was visibly touched by Ranveer's adulation for him and the enthusiasm with which he was welcomed to the show. The two of them had previously worked together in a film called Kill Dil, which was released back in 2014.

    Ranveer has often spoken publicly about his affection for Govinda, and how much his personal style, and the way the legendary actor carried himself, has affected him. 

    “Govindaji is a legend and the one reason to watch the film. He really is a master and his approach is very, very old school. I am probably one of his biggest fans. I have seen his films — some of them more than 50 times. I have seen all his songs. I don’t love all of his movies but I love him. He is an icon,” said Ranveer, in an old interview.
    On the work front, Ranveer is currently busy promoting his latest movie, ‘83’ and is giving interviews. Despite a number of rave reviews, the film is slated to be declared a commercial failure.

    AR Rahman made his Bollywood debut at a time when Hindi film music was dominated by the likes of Jatin-Lalit, Anu Malik and Nadeem-Shravan. His music was like a breath of fresh air and was something never heard before by Bollywood movie buffs and became an instant success amongst them. 
    Over the years, Rahman created a niche for himself with Hindi film albums like Rangeela, Dil Se, Daud or the massive chartbuster that was Taal. Besides original Bollywood music, he also delivered chartbusters in dubbed versions of Tamil films like Humse Hai Muqabla, Roja and Bombay. 
    In just a few years, Rahman was considered as one of the greatest music directors of Indian cinema. In the ‘00s and ‘10s, he continued with his brilliance and delivered soulful albums like Lagaan, Pukar, Swades, Saathiya, Rang De Basanti, among others.

    However, in the last decade, with the advent of social media, the music in Bollywood films also changed. Makers started opting for recreations and remakes and the originality became a rarity. With that change, the presence of AR Rahman in Bollywood films also started to diminish. 

    Despite delivering some of his best music in Rockstar, Raanjhanaa and Tamasha, he was no longer the favourite of many like he once was. The new crop of filmmakers in a bid to grab eyeballs and views on YouTube preferred the likes of Tony Kakkar and Tanishk Bagchi. 

    In 2017, Rahman did deliver hit music in OK Jaanu but the irony was that the remake of his own chartbuster song from Bombay, Humma Humma overshadowed his new compositions.
    In the last few years, AR Rahman’s music was completely missing from the mainstream Hindi movies and the soundtrack in Bollywood films had become mostly about recreated songs.

    When it seemed like there was no hope for Bollywood music now, Dil Bechara released in 2020. The last film of late Sushant Singh Rajput marked AR Rahman’s return to mainstream Bollywood music. 

    While the original compositions struck a chord with the listeners, the usually shy and reserved natured Rahman, for the first time, opened up and spoke his heart out in the media and revealed why he was missing from Bollywood in the last few years. 
    He told Radio Mirchi, “See, I don't say no to good movies, but I think there is a gang, which, due to misunderstandings, is spreading some false rumours.” 
    He further added, “When Mukesh Chhabra (Dil Bechara director) came to me, I gave him four songs in two days. He said, 'Sir, how many people said don't go, don't go (to him). They told me stories after stories.' I heard that, and I said, 'Yeah okay, now I understand why I am doing less (work) and why the good movies are not coming to me.' I am doing dark movies because there is a whole gang working against me, without them knowing that they are doing harm.” 
    Soon there was a big announcement that AR Rahman was roped in for Tiger Shroff starrer Heropanti 2. There were naysayers who wondered if Rahman would be able to deliver the kind of music an action masala film like Heropanti 2 demands. In the era of fast-paced Punjabi music and party numbers, will his music find listeners?

    The question was answered and how with the release of the Kriti Sanon starrer Mimi. The Param Sundari song, an original composition, became a chartbuster with currently over 300 million views on YouTube. The movie also featured another hit in Rihaayi De. Before Mimi, there was also 99 Songs, his maiden production. Interestingly, the music of the film was released a year in advance and worked.


    This was not all, in a year when most of the Bollywood music is forgettable, Aanand L Rai’s Atrangi Re released. And the music by AR Rahman became the major USP of the film. Unlike other films, AR Rahman’s music along with Irshad Kamil’s lyrics is an important part of the narrative and adds value to the proceedings. 
    I guess that’s the reason director Aanand L Rai gave top billing to AR Rahman in the movie’s closing credits. When the movie ends, the first thing that we see is “A Film By AR Rahman” flashed on-screen followed by other names including Rai’s.

    At a time when the general consensus was that only remakes and recreated songs work, AR Rahman returned to Bollywood and saved the music for all of us. Here’s looking forward to what AR Rahman has to offer in films like Heropanti 2 and Pippa, and other Bollywood projects that he is a part of.

Toxic colleagues can really take a toll on your mental health as well as professional performance and if you think there’s no escape other than quitting your job, you’re wrong.

    You can very well deal with them in a healthy way without messing up your equation with them or degrading the team culture. Here are three ways to cope with a  toxic coworker situation and handle it professionally.

    The first thing you can do is not entertain them and set healthy boundaries. Stop hanging out with them if it affects your mental health and don’t partake in office politics and gossip even when they are targeting others. Also, communicate to them about specific and actionable boundaries you’d like to keep at work.

    If you have been noticing unhealthy behaviour by your colleague towards you, call them out for it as soon as you realise. Whether they have gossiped about you, seem to always criticise you or backstabbed you, talk to them directly and tell them to stop. Make sure you use the right words and don’t come off as rude or dramatic.

    You’d want to hold back the urge to complain about them or take the matter to the senior manager until it’s really out of your hands since it can backfire. However, when you cannot control it at your end, it’s better to reach out to the right people at your work for help. At the end of the day, you are coworkers and it would always be nice to maintain basic courtesy and not get involved in any mudslinging.

    Bollywood has given us a lot - cheesy pick up lines, sexism, objectification of women, songs that will get remixed for the next ten decades, mindless amusement and a collection of cliches to pick from for every mood.

    But what it also has given us, is genuine entertainment and a few life lessons that have managed to simply stay with us. We won’t say every movie has had that kind of an impact on us, but a select few definitely have, and those are the ones you need to keep in handy for sound advice in life.
    Here is a list of life lessons that must be carried to the new year with us.

    A famous dialogue from the movie 3 Idiots where Aamir Khan’s character Rancho tells his friends how they need not run after success, just excellence. Seems like this one movie taught us way more than saying “Aal is well” to our anxious hearts!

    Released back in 2011, this  movie left a different kind of an impact on all of us, considering it still stands tall in all our watchlists and is the most fondly played movie during get-togethers. Just that one line where Katrina Kaif so effortlessly explains the essence of life, and how one mustn't cage themselves to their jobs, responsibilities or anything, is enough to make us keep coming back for more.

    With 2022 finally here, we are ready to witness the evolution in Bollywood movies with new onscreen pairings that will add some much needed freshness in the upcoming movies.     Ravichandran Ashwin is arguably the greatest example of making a career comeback in the history of the game of cricket. From not even being in the 15-man squad a couple of years ago, to enter the regular team rotation and now becoming the highest-ranked Indian bowler in Test cricket, the Chennai-born has had a noteworthy return to the game.
    Based on his success in the longest format of the game and an equally impressive record in the Indian Premier League, Ashwin even managed to make it into the Indian squad ahead of the T20 World Cup 2021. Recently the BCCI finally revealed India’s roster for the upcoming ODI series against the South Africans and guess what… Ashwin’s name is once again on the cards.

    Former Indian all-rounder Reetinder Sodhi feels that Ashwin’s resurgence is nothing short of winning a lottery and the fact that the man has somehow managed to adapt to the changing needs of the team has given him a second life within the Men in Blue, especially when there are literally thousands of extremely talented players out there competing day and night just to get his spot in the squad.
    Sodhi said that he felt as if Ashwin’s career was in its twilight and that the cricket would have just announced his retirement on any random day back when he was not getting picked.

    Ever since Harbhajan Singh decided to officially retire from all formats of cricket, the 41-year-old has gone ballistic in talking about the kind of misfortunes he faced as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) refused to lend its support towards him almost a decade ago and as a result, he stopped getting the opportunities to represent the country at the highest level.
    Previously Bhajji spoke about how he had taken over 400 wickets by the time he had was just 31-years old and could have scalped at least 100 to 150 more wickets if he was allowed to play for a few more years.

    He has blamed some of the members of the Indian cricket board for mistreating senior players and has even blamed the former captain of the Indian cricket team, Mahendra Singh Dhoni as one of the leading causes for his ouster from the team rotation amid a bad spell.
    Now, however, the off-spinner has also decided to take away the merit of Dhoni as an extraordinary batter by saying that he had received “better backing by the BCCI” as compared to the rest of the players and that if any of the other players got similar support from the board, even they could have also played as well as Dhoni did.

    “Dhoni had better backing than other players and if the rest of the players would have got the same kind of backing, then they would have played as well. It wasn’t as if the rest of the players forgot to swing a bat or didn’t know how to bowl all of a sudden,” Singh had said in an interview with Zee News.
    Days before the Men in Blue left for South Africa to play a three-match Test series followed by a three-match ODI series, things got extremely controversial when the red-ball captain of the squad, Virat Kohli went against BCCI President Sourav Ganguly’s words and clarified that none of the BCCI members had raised concerns about his wish to step down as the T20I captain.

    In the same interview, Harbhajan Singh chose his words really carefully and kept himself away from getting involved in yet another dispute by saying that he has absolutely no idea about whatever was happening between Kohli and Ganguly.
