    Men love sneakers. That's just a universal fact. Even if you consider yourself to be a style renegade, you cannot deny that when you see a nice pair of sneakers, especially if they have a hint of something fluorescent or have a little weird silhouette, you turn to take a good hard look at them.

    Now, given how loaded our B-Towners are, it should not come as a surprise that we have often seen them wear some of the quirkiest, and the zaniest pairs ever. We'll go as far as to say that this decade has been the decade of sneakers. If you haven't been spotted wearing a noteworthy pair, then you haven't been spotted. It's that simple.

    That being said, there are a few sneakerheads and hypebeasts who stand head and shoulders above the rest. And surprisingly, he isn't even a fulltime B-Towner. Diljit Dosanjh's choice of sneakers is as dapper as it can be. For someone who does not have a stylist, and buys all his stuff on his own, we have to say that his choices easily get him a solid A+ when it comes to sneakers.

    Here are some of the most insanely cool pair of sneakers we have seen him wear over the year. Mind you though, saying that they are pricey, would be grossly understating the fact.

    We begin with these pair from Versace. Retailing for Rs. 75,300 when converted, these sneakers have a very quirky print and silhouette which goes really well with the hipster vibe that Diljit usually goes for. We also cannot help but notice the luggage from Off-White that he's posing with, in this image. Talk about being a hypebeast!

    A different iteration of the Zebra prints, these sneakers with the velvet finish retail for about Rs. 76,000 when converted. The thing that sets the Burgundy apart from the zebra print one is the zany manner in which the orange and red camouflage and the red coloured upper mesh sit really well together.

    There was no way that a pair from Off-White wouldn't have been on the list. And indeed, what a quirky pair it is. The neon green Off-white X Nike Air Force 1 Lows retail for about Rs. 57,000, and can often be found for going for much higher on sneaker trading sites. Plus, we really like the way in which Diljit has paired the sneakers with his flashy and loud outfit, with its super aggressive branding.

    And then we have these pair of Orange Cloudbust Sneakers from Prada. Retailing for just under Rs. 53,000 when converted, these sneakers have a very futuristic vibe. That being said, they are certainly in a league of their own, given the neat lines and rather a simplistic silhouette. And the choice to pair it with a neon tracksuit from Prada, is simply genius.

    One of the chunkiest white sneakers that we have seen anyone wear this year, the B22 from Dior Hommes come in a number of variants, all of which have rather unique and head-turning accents. That being said, they have an understated finesse about themselves. Retailing for about Rs. 77,000, these are definitely the way to go, if you're thinking of going for white chunky sneakers.

    Diljit is a huge fan of all things Balenciaga. This is just one of the many Balenciagas that you can see him wear. Just take a look at his Instagram profile, focusing on his sneakers and you'll see that he has a pair in black, another beige pair in yellow, and another beige pair in red and white. Oh, and don't forget all those Balenciaga jackets and sweats that he loves. The price of these particular sneakers? Rs. 64,000.

    But did you know that this was not the only thing where was a little out of the ordinary?

    According to an old interview, Ranveer actually admitted that he was even way ahead of his peers as a kid.
    Talking about his first sexual experiences, Ranveer said that he actually ended up losing his virginity at the mere age of 12.
    Yeah! That's right!
    Back when you and I were busy watching Pokemon and Art Attack on TV, Ranveer had been busy doing other things.
    Not only that, but Ranveer also revealed that it was actually an older woman with who he had *** when he lost his virginity to.
    The actor, while speaking to Deccan Chronicle back in 2014, said that he was actually referred to as a rotten apple by other kids' mothers.
    "I think I was around 12 when I did it. I started everything early, everything! I was way ahead - so much so, that in school all the mothers used to say he (Ranveer) is that rotten apple that's spoiling all our kids," he said.
    Ranveer had also chosen to open up on doing condom ads, something that obviously divided opinions of the public.

Then I realized that the only ads we have for condoms are very provocative in nature. That shouldn't be the only prevailing definition of ***. Somebody needs to point that out or else people will keep treating it as taboo," he said.

    The secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Jay Shah has made promises about the possibility of an IPL-like league for women cricketers in India while speaking to Hindustan Times.
    Based on the fact that big cricketers like Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur have played in franchise cricket leagues overseas, and have been extremely vocal about having a similar tournament at home, Shah suggests that the Indian cricket board is working night and day to make the league happen.

    However, he also suggests that making something like this come true needs a lot of factors to be looked into. For instance, the availability of international players to make their way to India for at least a month and the ICC schedule for bilateral series, to name a few.
    This isn’t the first time that a senior BCCI official has spoken about the chances of having a women’s cricket league in the country and the fact that the organisation does not even have a timeline set in place for something so important led to the fans of Indian cricket calling BS on Shah’s words.

However in the last decade and a half, not a lot of anecdotal evidence could be found in support of this argument.
    Despite a boost in annual pay for the top-tier cricketers back in 2018, female athletes don’t have many avenues to play competitive cricket at the school, university or club level. There is no uniform structure in terms of age-group competitions at the state-level. 

    Furthermore, the fact that Shah takes pride in increasing the match fees from ₹5,500 to ₹10,000 among U-16 and U-19 matches and from ₹12,500 to ₹20,000 for senior-level players, also highlights the ambition that the BCCI have in uplifting cricket among women in India.
    There exists a need within the BCCI to create a separate wing or an administrative body within the organisation that prioritise the needs and requirements of women cricketers while the board continues to prefer male cricketers so evidently and keep introducing one bilateral series after another while not paying nearly enough attention to their female counterparts.

    India’s fast bowling line-up boasts of some world-class bowlers who can run riot against any opposition in world cricket on a given day. One of the stars of the Indian pace battery is right-arm fast pacer Mohammed Shami but unfortunately he doesn’t get the same limelight as some of the other bowlers do.

    Despite being an integral part of India’s pace attack, Shami, even after producing great results, often gets overshadowed by his own teammates. Ahead of every important series, there is so much hype around bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah and now to some extent Mohammed Siraj that many people have started feeling the Uttar Pradesh fast bowler doesn’t get his due credit.

    Unfazed by all this, the 31-year-old pacer goes about his business quietly and lets the ball do the talking. He did the same on the third day of the Boxing Day Test between South Africa and India at SuperSport Park in Centurion.
    When Jasprit Bumrah, who was looking the most threatening Indian pacer in the opening spell, left the field after sustaining an ankle injury in the 11th over of the innings, many fans and experts thought  it to be a great setback.

    Being the most senior pacer in the line-up, Shami stepped up and ran through the opposition batting line-up, picking wickets at regular intervals. It was his incredible bowling performance that India managed to bowl the hosts out for 197 runs in the first innings, despite bowling with only four bowlers for the majority of their innings. 
    Apart from picking up a five-wicket haul, Shami also reached a huge career milestone as he became the fastest Indian bowler (in terms of balls bowled) to take 200 wickets in red-ball cricket.

    After Shami’s heroics in Centurion, the social networking sites were filled with congratulatory messages for the Indian speedster. Not just that, the people even started discussing if Shami was the most underrated fast bowler in world cricket at the moment, whose performances don’t garner as much headlines as his contemporaries.

    Former India cricketer Mohammad Kaif was among the first ones who started this debate on social media as he tweeted: “Mohammad Shami is easily the world's most underrated pacer. Bhai ko halke mein maat lena, yeh toh heavy driver hai. Shami has the same quality as Bumrah, Anderson, Cummins. @MdShami11  #INDvsSA.” 
    Soon, the micro-blogging site was flooded with similar posts as fans started backing Kaif’s thoughts and explained why they thought Shami was indeed the most underrated and underappreciated fast bowler of the current generation.

    Shahid Kapoor has been paired opposite Mrunal Thakur for his upcoming movie Jersey. We have seen both the actors on the big screen and have an idea that they believe in living their characters to an extent that it starts looking real to the viewers. If you remember how a slap scene in Shahid's previous movie Kabir Singh became a controversial subject and people bashed the actor for promoting toxic masculinity, Jersey too has one scene like that but there's a twist. Instead of Shahid slapping the lady, it's Mrunal who's slapping him. There's no outrage on this one per se as it was shown in the trailer.

    But, there's a story that Mrunal narrated about this particular scene. She revealed that she was quite nervous but it was Shahid who calmed her down and asked her to slap him harder for it to look convincing. Talking to News18, Mrunal said “I was really scared. I didn’t want to spoil his performance. The crescendo of the scene is something else. I was tense about kahin zyada na lag jaye (I shouldn’t overdo the output). But Shahid helped me in that scene a lot, by egging me on, ‘You need to slap me harder.’ We did a lot of retakes and the slap is real. We performed the scene in the initial four or five days of shooting. I was trying to find the rhythm in my character and this scene really got me going."

    Jersey has also been in news because it was earlier scheduled to release on December 31 this year but it has been postponed. A statement released by the makers said that the release has been postponed due to the “new Covid guidelines.”

    In an earlier conversation with Indian Express, Shahid had spoken about the audience returning to the theaters. He said, “I think if the film is good, it finds its place. In the last two years, because of the pandemic, theaters were shut for so long, and there are many films waiting to be released. There were many people who did not release their films fearing that many movies were coming out together. But I believe that if you believe in your product and if you are passionate and if you have the conviction in you, then you’ll know that the audience has one week to decide how they like my film. It doesn’t matter what film comes before us or after us, every film has its own destiny.”
    The film is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, who was also the director of the Telugu version of the film. It is a story of a former cricket player who tries to revive his career but fails miserably. It is about a man who aspires to get back into sports in his mid-40s but faces several complications.

    Back in 2013, when One Direction had not disbanded, there had been news about Harry Styles' crazy *** life during his tour in the United Kingdom.
    His own bandmember Niall Horan opened up on how he'd lost count on the number of women Harry had slept with while on the tour.

    As per Daily Star, Niall had said, “Harry is just unbeatable. He never runs out of stamina! I’ve lost count of all the girls he’s pulled on this tour. He sleeps most of the day, then does the gig and stays up all night with pretty girls in his room. He’s a total rock ‘n’ roller.”

    According to another source speaking to the publication, Harry would at least have three to four girls in his room each night.

    The source also added how this could have been one of the reasons behind Harry's split from ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift.

    According to the source, while other One Direction members would be hanging out with each other during the tour, Harry would vanish for the entire night.

    “(Harry) made sure there are loads of girls lined up at his hotel so he can take his pick and had up to a dozen waiting on a single night. The rest of the lads all hang out after gigs and watch movies or play their computer games. But Harry goes off with a harem of girls, and you don’t see him until the next day,” said the source.
    This was, however, a long time ago, and Harry is currently reported to be dating Olivia Wilde.
