It doesn’t take much to be kind.
A small smile, a sweet gesture or simply a “hello!” can magically uplift a person’s mood.
No wonder then that our favourite girl-next-door and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma is all about these little good deeds. Be it in real life or reel life, she is always ready to go that extra mile to bring a smile to someone’s face.
In the past, Anushka Sharma has been known to take on many charities. From her public love for pets, her charity fundraisers to her more recent decision to donate her maternity clothes, she has always been the flag bearer of bringing smiles with “achchai”.
This time around too, Anushka is doing the same with an emotional new creative for the brand Rajnigandha Pearls.
    Rajnigandha Silver Pearls
With the short video that celebrates compassion and kindness, she takes on the brand communication and philosophy “achchai ki ek alag chamak hoti hai”.
The simple act of kindness in the video showcases how a small act, even done anonymously, can bring a smile to somebody’s face – it is the impact of achchai in our day to day lives. After all, as Anushka points out in the TVC, “achchai ek haath se aise karo ki doosre haath ko pata bhi na chale”.
The brand Rajnigandha Pearls aims to bring the premise of ‘Goodness that shines’ to the real world. Made from the choicest of cardamom seeds, Rajnigandha Pearls are blended with saffron and coated with pure silver leaves to bring the best taste.
With their latest new TVC, the brand hopes to inspire people not to wait for great opportunities to do good, but to simply seize the day with their small acts of kindness – as the background score points us “Dil bada to tu bada”!
What do you think of the new TVC? Let us know in the comments below.

Katrina Kaif, who is among the top leading ladies of Bollywood, is finally taking her relationship with Vicky Kaushal to the next level. The actors are all set to get married in Rajasthan at Six Senses Fort Barwara in the Sawai Madhopur area. They will be exchanging nuptial vows in a traditional ceremony and fans are desperately waiting to see them posing together as groom and bride.
Vicky and Katrina's much-hyped wedding is just two days away now, however, the couple is yet to make their relationship official. Reportedly, the couple started dating in 2019 and kept their personal lives guarded. They didn't even make too many appearances together and got snapped with each other very rarely. Also, they are yet to work together in a film. But, did you know that Katrina was once offered a film also featuring Vicky Kaushal?
Well yes, director Rajkumar Hirani had initially approached Katrina for the role of Manyata Dutt in Sanju. The 2018 film featured her ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor in the titular role while Vicky too played the pivotal role of Sanjay Dutt's best friend Kamli. However, reportedly, the Ek The Tiger actress rejected the offer as she didn't want to reunite with ex-beau Ranbir on-screen post their breakup. For the unversed, they have worked in films like Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, Rajneeti, and Jagga Jasoos together.
At last, the role went to Dia Mirza. If Katrina had accepted the offer, it would have been her first film co-starring Vicky, even though they wouldn't have any scenes together apart from the fleeting shot towards the climax.
Coming back to Vicky and Katrina's much-awaited wedding, both of them have reached Rajasthan along with their families. The pre-wedding festivities will kick-start today.
Reportedly, the duo has imposed a no-mobile policy to maintain privacy.. Also, guests will be allowed to enter the venue only after sharing the secret codes with the security team.

Nushrratt Bharuccha’s recently released horror film Chhorii has garnered immense acclaim for the actress for her performance.

Nushrratt, who has been a part of several popular films including Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Dream Girl, Chhalaang, recently opened up about how her parents reacted to a revealing outfit she wore in the song Chote Chote Peg from Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.
Talking about her parents and family members, Nushrratt told RJ Siddharth Kannan that when the song was released, her father, mother and grandmother watched it with her and “they actually looked at me and asked, ‘Is that a bra that you are wearing?’ And I paused for two seconds and I said, ‘It’s a bralette. It’s not a bra, it’s a bralette. There is a term for it, it’s a styling term. People wear it.’”

She further added, “So, of course, they were a little taken aback ki, ‘yeh kya hai?’ (what is this?) But, it worked. It worked for the song, it worked for me. It looked nice. Everybody spoke about it well. It became a hit. I think what happened was, they kind of understood there is a reason why certain things are done for a certain theme. Matlab agar iss gaane mein yeh hai toh yeh hai (If this is the demand of the song, this is how it is). It doesn’t take away from who I am. I have not fallen in anything so it was easy for them to get over it.”

Nushrratt’s career started way back in 2006 with Jai Santoshi Maa.
She also did a supporting role in Kal Kissne Dekha before making head turns with Pyaar Ka Punchnama in 2011 and its sequel Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 in 2015.

After the success of her last release Chhorii, a Hindi remake of Marathi horror-thriller Lapachhapi, Nushrratt will next be seen in Hurdang alongside Sunny Kaushal and Vijay Varma and Ram Setu alongside Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandez.

It’s amazing how life has changed for all of us during the pandemic. New and innovative ways were adapted to ensure our day-to-day routine doesn’t encounter much disturbance.
Work came back home, children started spending more time with their families and people, in general, started appreciating the simple joys of life that were often overlooked before.
But since life moved back home, families have had to really master the art of multitasking.
I too am one such father who is living his pandemic life on an automated reel, one wrong move and the whole routine falls like a pack of cards.
A typical day would see me managing work calls, dealing with my 9-year-old’s rather excessive online school and assignments, juggling meetings and making sure we don’t lose it all in between.
So tell me, how many of us were left red-faced with the unending ‘hello, can you hear me’ conversations in the middle of a rather important work call?
    Jabra
Or just when it was your child’s turn to answer a question in school, our speakers would happily give up on us?

     Great timing, ha!
Well, the greatest gift I got from my wife recently was the Jabra Evolve 2 75. Trust me when I say this, but this device has been a life-changer for us as a family. Just one device has made our lives easier and more manageable. Especially when my old device was giving up on me (and my hectic schedule).
Here are some of the reasons why this device is actually perfect for three generations alike!

Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)Work from home brings with it a lot of noises in the background. From the banging of utensils in the kitchen, to a fruit vendor selling vegetables on the main road, my daughter’s school and my colleagues have witnessed it all.
With the hard foam for the exterior and soft foam for the interior, this headset promises to deliver noise isolation and the ultimate all-day comfort.
Simply put, you get even better Active Noise Cancellation performance in a headset and can still wear it for as long as you like.
You can use the Sound + App to select your level of noise cancellation and let the advanced feedforward and feedback dual hybrid ANC do what it does best to protect your focus.
From train to a cafe, the Evolve2 75 will help you concentrate no matter where you are. The UC certification for MS Teams and Zoom that this device comes with makes it even more authentic for these widely used apps.

However, the Evolve2 75, is a re-engineered microphone boom-arm that’s 33% shorter than Evolve 75. It is specially designed for outstanding calls in open-plan offices and other noisy places.

When I first came across the episode “Death, Grief & Finding Meaning” on the podcast “Under The Skin”, I was slightly skeptical about listening to a topic so intense, so unsettling. But now that I’ve witnessed 1 hour 16 minutes of pure magic, I can’t wait to talk about it.
    Luminary
The podcast host, Russell Brand, brings author, death and grieving expert “David Kessler” on board - together they talk about the various connotations of grief, how it manifests, how people deal with it, how to deal with loss, and much more.

David Kessler has authored various books around the same subject - ‘The Needs of the Dying: A Guide for Bringing Hope’, ‘Finding Meaning: The Sixth Stage of Grief’, ‘You Can Heal Your Heart’, to name a few.
Understand ‘Grief’ Beyond DeathWhen people hear grief, they think of the death of a loved one. They think of irreparable loss. We need to understand that grief manifests in several ways - it can be Covid-19 updates, a break-up, or even addiction. It doesn’t necessarily translate to bereavement or mourning.
    iStock
Having said that, dealing with the death of a loved one triggers another aspect of grief altogether. When we see someone mourn the loss of a person, it is easy to say that things will get better, that people die. But grieving is a never-ending process.

    iStock
When someone asks - how long do we grieve for somebody? The answer is - as long as they're dead. Grieving doesn’t end. We just change the way we grieve for someone. First, we grieve in pain. Then, we learn to grieve with love.

The Different Stages Of GrievingThe book “On Grief and Grieving”, which David Kessler co-authored with  Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, talks about the 5 stages of grieving.
David Kessler heartily mentions - the first page of the book itself makes it clear that these stages aren’t to be followed in any particular order. They are, however, inevitable phases and we are bound to experience them in our journey of grieving.
    iStock
The 5 stages are - denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.

He further goes on to talk about how love and grief are a package deal on planet earth - and we must accept that.
We Live In A Grief Illiterate WorldHow does one define grief - it’s the “change” we didn’t want, a connection of love that’s lost, it's painful and inevitable all the same.
David Kessler talks about going to grief counselling, grief groups and giving voice to your emotions. The stigma around grief and help groups needs to break. We practically live in a grief illiterate world and awareness of the same is imperative.
    iStock
He also mentions that for more information on his work, or if you would like some support around grief or bereavement, go to grief.com.

Remember, nobody goes from mountaintop to mountaintop - we all have to go through the valleys. “This feeling is going to pass, you're going to get another feeling soon”, he says.
David Kessler also talks about grief in terms of addiction, mental illness, death by suicide, and being mentally compromised. No good has ever come out of not discussing our lows with our loved ones.
While these were my favorite moments from the podcast, you can click here to tune into the entire episode of  “Death Grief & Finding Meaning (With David Kessler)” only on Russell Brand’s podcast “Under The Skin” on Luminary.

“I am surprised as well as happy about completing 25 years in Bollywood. Mujhe laga nahi tha ke mein 25 saal tak tik paunga idhar. It used to be so frightening when I used to see all my peers disappear one after the other. I used to think ‘ab agala number mera hai’,” he said. Well, we aren’t surprised at all.

He also shared how he was scared of failure so much that he almost didn’t make a debut.

“I was petrified to make my debut because I had never acted before. I was so scared of doing a film. I tried my best not to do a film. I am one of the rare breeds that tried his best to get out of the film. Because I was so scared of failure,” he said.

It is surprising how a brilliant actor like him was so afraid of failure.

He also said that even after all these years, he is still looking for work, “I’m grateful for all the people who had faith in me and continue to have faith in me and the audience. I feel there is going to be another long journey ahead of me. Kissing scenes in Hindi Bollywood films have always been a thing of intense debate.
I mean, be it flowers brushing against each other in film, actors and actresses cupping their mouths while pretending to kiss on screen or the camera showing the back of the actor fooling audiences, Hindi movies have tried everything in their power to not show explicit kissing scenes.
    © iStock
However, things have certainly changed in the last few years, and no longer do we sweat at the idea of maybe witnessing a kissing scene, as it has become just too common.

The boom of Netflix, Prime Video, and other OTT platforms bringing worldly shows and movies to India has been one of the reasons why we are now okay with explicit *** scenes probably.
    © Netflix
Now, slowly and steadily, Bollywood, too, has become adept at including *** scenes and kissing scenes in movies without being scared that The 'Censorship Ka Mandir' will create a huge problem for them.

Having said that, there is one steamy Bollywood kissing scene that really raised the stakes!
I mean, it was apparently even too hot for the director itself.
We're talking about the intense kissing scene between Bollywood actors Katrina Kaif and Hrithik Roshan in Zoya Akhtar's 2011 film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
    © Prime Video
In the scene, Katrina's character rides a motorcycle to chase Hrithik's character somewhere in the middle of Spain before going on to kiss him passionately.

However, as per a report by Bollywood Hungama, the kiss was way too long for the film.

According to the report, the kissing scene was actually a three-minute-long scene and the makers of the film, including director Zoya, were left wondering whether they should keep the scene that long or cut it.

After much consideration, Zoya took the decision to edit it in order to shorten the screen time.
The movie, all in all, was a very good coming-of-age film and we doubt audiences would have been troubled by watching that long a kissing scene.
Anyway, I don't think Hrithik or Katrina, who is going to reportedly tie the knot with Vicky Kaushal in a grand wedding, lost any sleep over the shortened scene.
