    It's really been a very long time since we saw Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan showcase his charming self in a movie or two.

    I mean, to be deprived of the pleasure of watching one of the most successful stars in India on tv or in cinema halls, is seriously sad.
    But that's the truth.
    While Shah Rukh, with age and experience, has chosen to slow the pace of doing movies every year, that is not the only reason why we've seen less of him on social media and on cinema screens.
    The whole controversy around the arrest and release of his eldest son Aryan Khan is said to be one of the reasons why Shah Rukh has, for long, kept such a low profile.

    The actor has of, course, been home to his family, to be there for Aryan after the 23-year-old spent an entire month behind prison walls.

    It was reported through sources earlier, that the Bollywood Badshah had even requested directors to keep the schedules of film shootings in a way he could go back to his family every now and then.

    It's clearly very understandable. I mean, we all would do things for our families if they are in need.

    Now, having said that, it looks like the Fan actor may actually be ready to return to filming after a long hiatus.
    Yeah, that's right! King Khan fans can rejoice!
    As per the latest report by Pinkvilla, Shah Rukh's latest movie Pathan is said to resume shooting on December 15.
    Only a certain percentage of the film is left unfinished and the shooting is expected to get over completely in the next 15-20 days.
    This means that after a long break from the shooting, Shah Rukh will return alongside co-star Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, who is said to play the antagonist in the film.

    A source speaking to Pinkvilla said, “The team will start shooting for Pathan from December 15 to shoot some really important sequences of the film. It’s a schedule that’s expected to go on for 15 to 20 days and all the three key actors – SRK, Deepika, and John – will be a part of this stint. The team will be shooting at a closed set up in Mumbai”

    Not only this, but the Pathan team is also planning to schedule shoots for a few sequences in exotic locations outside of India.
    “Siddharth Anand and YRF are in extensive discussions to make this international schedule happen to give their audience the grandeur that they are expecting from Pathan. The idea is to shoot some visually appealing scenes with the leading actors at breathtaking real locations.” said the source.
    Boy! Are we glad to hear that SRK is returning.
    I mean, in all seriousness, him getting back to things that he loves doing and is so good at, will do a lot of wonders for him as well as funs.

    Only a few days are now left for the much-awaited wedding of Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif. While the actors haven't yet made any official announcement, they are expected to get hitched on December 9 in Rajasthan in a private ceremony. Their family members have started reaching Rajasthan as the pre-wedding festivities will begin on December 7. 
    While everyone is excited about Vicky and Katrina's much-hyped wedding, the latest reports suggest that the alleged lovebirds have been offered a whopping amount by an OTT platform to exclusively cover the marriage festivities for streaming purposes. 
    Revealing the same, a source told Pinkvilla that that streaming giant has offered Rs 100 crore to Vicky and Katrina for their wedding footage. Yes, you read that right!
    The source added, "It’s up to Katrina and Vicky to decide on the future course of action. There is a possibility of them letting go of the offer and there is also a possibility of them collaborating with this giant as they want their fans to witness all that happened in the palace".
    In case the couple agrees, the OTT giant will shoot and edit the star-studded wedding to present it as a feature film on their streaming platform. The footage is expected to include exclusive interviews of Vicky and Katrina's families, friends, stylists, make-up artists, and other guests along with the live moments from the ceremonies. 
    The soon-to-be-married couple is trying their level best to keep their wedding a secret affair. To maintain privacy, they have asked people attending the ceremony to not carry their mobile phones. Also, the guests will be able to enter the venue only after sharing the secret codes provided to them. Also, drones spotted around the resort will be shot down. 
    After exchanging nuptial vows, Vicky and Katrina will not take a long break for their honeymoon and are expected to resume work soon. 
    On the acting front, Vicky will next be seen in Sam Bahadur and he has also signed Govinda Naam Mera co-starring Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani. Katrina's next release will be Phone Bhoot. She also has the third film in the Tiger franchise with Salman Khan and Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zara in her kitty.

    Bollywood has a few genres in which it keeps minting out movies. Romantic, comedy, horror and of course ‘the Rohit Shetty’ in which focus is more on the flying cars and senseless action apart from the script. 
    And while all of these are still genres we’re familiar with, one which usually comes unsolicited is where Bollywood makes movies that are ‘unintentionally’ funny.

    These are the kind of movies that are so far away from the point they want to make, that they end up not making sense at all. 
    Here are 5 Bollywood movies that were intentionally funny and gave us the laugh of a lifetime:
    1. Karzzzzz © Reliance Entertainment
    This movie was as far away from being the drama-thriller as it was touted to be, as Himesh Reshammiya’s acting. 

    While the movie was supposed to be about revenge and incarnation, it ended up being about songs named ‘Tandoori nights’ and realising that the real mistake was not adding 4 extra Zs in the movie title, but making it in the first place. With Himesh as the lead, no less. 
    2. Jaani Dushman : Ek Anokhi Kahani  © Shankar Movies
    This was Bollywood’s embarrassing and hilarious tribute to Hollywood’s Matrix and safe to say, it was as good as a parody can be. 

    Except, it wasn’t supposed to be a parody. 
    From bad VFX to terrible acting and worse dialogues, the movie was one long shit-show that gave Sonu Nigam the reality check and Akshay Kumar, the worst film of his life.  
    3. Taarzan: The Wonder Car  © Baba Films
    This movie was way ahead of its time. 

    And by that we mean, that it was so, so far ahead of its time that we haven’t still reached a point where a man getting reincarnated as a car is something we can wrap our head around. Just..no!

    I won’t lie, this was one of my favourite movies but for reasons completely different. 

    It wasn’t because the movie was brilliant or the acting was exceptional, but because it gave us a sight of Bipasha Basu seducing a piano and nearly traumatising us. 
    And not to forget the not-so-subtle introduction of the concept of wife-swapping going all wrong!

    Contrary to the title of the movie, this one was basically about a Mountain Dew ad that was placed into the movie in a very not-subtle way, while the rest of the movie just happened. 

    From faulty plot lines to Zaid Khan’s questionable acting, this movie definitely failed its mission to please the audience!

    Jacqueline Fernandez is making headlines these days for all the wrong reasons. 

    The Sri Lankan actress who made her acting debut with the 2009 Sujoy Ghosh dud Aladin, has been courting controversies due to her alleged involvement with conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar. 
    It has also been alleged that she was in a relationship with Sukesh. In fact, recently, a few kissing selfies of the duo had also gone viral on social media. 
    And now, it has been reported that there is a lookout notice against Jacqueline by ED (Directorate of Enforcement) and because of which she was stopped at Mumbai Airport from leaving the country. 
    This isn’t the first time that Jacqueline has made headlines for her personal life. Her relationship with filmmaker Sajid Khan had also been the talk of the town a few years earlier.

    While Jacqueline has never spoken publicly about her relationship with Sajid, the filmmaker had talked about their break-up back in 2014. In fact, he had hinted that she used to “nag” him and even indirectly blamed her for the failure of his film Himmatwala starring Ajay Devgn. 
    In an interview with TOI, Sajid was asked about breaking up with Jacqueline right after the failure of Himmatwala. He had stated, “While we broke up in May 2013, in reality right from December 2012, it started becoming sour. So you are already preparing your mind in those five months. Also, when you don’t have a woman in your life, you don’t have someone constantly nagging you, so you end up working better and are more focused. I went for a holiday with her for five days in the middle of making Himmatwala and felt so bad when the film didn’t do well. For Humshakals, I have not taken a single holiday.” 
    Well, Sajid may have insinuated that Himmatwala flopped because of his relationship with Jacqueline but his next film Humshakals too was a major dud at the box office. And this was years after his relationship with the Kick actress ended.

    Right after their relationship had ended, a Mumbai Mirror report had claimed that the reason for their breakup was Sajid’s over possessiveness. 
    The report had quoted a source as saying, “He was always protective, but at times too possessive of his girlfriend. Jackie brought out his prudish side… he had issues with the way she dressed, her roles… everything.”
    It was also reported that Sajid prohibited her from kissing Hrithik Roshan on-screen and filming intimate scenes with Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh, which resulted in her losing films like Krrish 3 and Jism 2.

    While youngsters impressed with their performance, veterans like Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinya Rahane failed to produce a single notable performance during the two-match series. According per the BCCI press release, Rahane missed the second Test with an injury but fans were convinced that he was dropped on the bench owing to his poor performances of late.
    Both the senior campaigners have been facing a lot of criticism on social media and many experts also feel that neither of them deserve a place in the starting lineup but Rahane would be the first one to get the sack.

    When asked about his opinion on his Test deputy’s ongoing struggles, Indian skipper Virat Kohli said that it’s hard for anyone to judge a player’s form because only he can tell what’s going through his head and how he is feeling about his game.
    “I can’t judge his form. No one can judge it. Only the individual knows what he’s going through. We need to back them in these moments, especially when they have done well in the past. We don’t have this environment where we have our players asking ‘what happens now?’. That’s not how we do it in the side,” Kohli said during the post-match press conference.

    “The same people who praise certain players want them out of the team after two months.     Kohli obviously did not answer directly but his response gave a clear indication that Rahane’s spot in the Playing XI was not under threat as of now.
    A large group of supporters who have long been urging the team management to get rid of the Mumbai batter started moaning after Kohli chose to defend his red-ball deputy.

    Romance movies are great but our favourite kind is when the love is subtle and not in the face.  
    However, most of these beautifully elusive love stories often remain unfinished, leaving the audience wanting for more.

    There are so many movies where we saw romance brewing between characters but it never materialised. The couple we shipped for the entire movie couldn't or didn't end up together while we were waiting for them to run off to the sunset together.

    Here are five such not-so-romantic Bollywood movies which gave us unforgettable but unfinished love stories that we really wanted to see more of:

    1. Piku © Yash Raj Films
    We could all sense the romance brewing between Piku and Rana. They were poles apart but still, the chemistry between the two was unmissable. 

    The ending of the movie does hint at the chance that the accidental friendship could grow into something more as they were shown playing badminton together.  
    2. October  © Rising Sun Films
    Although they didn’t know each other, Dan finds himself growing closer to Shiuli after a terrible accident. He starts to take care of her and gets along with her mom too. 

    We would have loved to see both of them knowing more about each other. However, it ends on a very sad note. 
    3. The Lunchbox © UTV Motion Pictures
    Again, the two lead characters never meet, but they develop a bond over exchanged letters and a tiffin box. Saajan becomes a confidant to Ila who is in an unhappy marriage and the two start to bond over being lonely. 

    In the end, Saajan seeks to find her, but does he? Ugh. We’d never know.   
    4. Dear Zindagi  © Dharma Productions
    After having multiple failed relationships, Kiara finds Jug, a therapist who helps her look at life differently. 

    When she confesses her love for him after her therapy sessions are over, he says nothing can happen between them. But Jug’s chair creaking, in the end, does give the audience hope for a romantic sequel, maybe?

    An underconfident and underestimated Shashi meets Laurent and feels appreciated for the first time. 

    We all know Shashi had feelings for him, albeit small, but couldn’t act on it because she was married. In the end, they remain friends and her husband and kids realise her worth. 
    But, we can’t help but wonder what could have happened if they got together.

    Could anyone forget how perfect Kammo and Dharamvir Malhotra were for each other? Although Malhotra comes to Punjab to complete his son’s love story, he also finds a second chance at love with the sweet Kammo ji.

    Another day is gone, and all us crazy superhero fans are closer to the release of the most anticipated superhero film of the year, Spider-Man: No Way Home.
    Literally, anyone who has read the comics, watched the shows, movies or been in touch with the Avengers films under the MCU, is super psyched with the idea of the latest Spider-Man film bringing back old heroes Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.

    The Tom Holland movie is releasing in theatres this month on December 17 all across the world, however, for Indian fans, the movie is actually releasing a day earlier, on December 16. 

    Excited? Oh yeahhh! 
    Now, if you've been keeping up with the news, Tom Holland has been giving newer and newer updates regarding Spider-Man and even on his own status as the web-slinging hero. 
    While he earlier toyed around the idea of maybe leaving the franchise, it is now been confirmed that Tom will, in fact, be back with three more Spider-Man movies as Marvel, along with Sony, really looks up to the idea of making the most of their most bankable on-screen superhero.

    With Morbius already having its trailer released and Tom Hardy's Venom series also hinting at a meeting between the symbiote and Spider-Man, things look pretty exciting for Spider-Man lovers. 

    However, Tom, someone who we know is never shy of giving new and juicy updates, may have revealed something very crucial in connection with Spider-Man and the whole Marvel franchise. 
    Tom, while speaking about maybe leaving the franchise later said, “I love this character (Spider-Man) more than anything. It’s changed my life. I have a relationship with my fans that’s so wonderful. I couldn’t ask for it to be any better. But I wanna do what’s best for the character.” 
    However, one thing that may have a lot of easter eggs and possibilities of newer characters and roles, was his next comment in which he said that he may actually choose to take on the Iron Man role.

    “If it’s time for me to step down and the next person to step up, I’ll do so proudly… I’d love to see a more diverse Spider-Man universe which would be really exciting. If I could be a part of that, I could be the Iron Man to the next young Spider-Man or Spider-Woman, that would be great. But at the moment, all I have to think about is the character and what’s best for Peter Parker,” said Tom. 

    Now, what we could comprehend out of this is, first, he's probably talking about being a mentor or Iron Man figure to the next younger Spider-Man or Spider-Woman rather than being Iron Man itself.

    Secondly, this may be very big for Marvel as a whole, as with the onset of newer characters like Morbius and Venom, we could finally be seeing the younger Spider-Man Miles Morales or even Gwen Stacy's Into The Spiderverse version of Spider-Man.

    It’s not a hidden fact anymore that outsiders in Bollywood haven’t got it easy and they have struggled to get that one chance to prove their talent. It was Kangana Ranaut who started the debate of Nepotism and since then many actors have spoken about the biases in the industry.
    Well, Vivek Oberoi has now exposed Bollywood’s lobby culture and has called out the exclusive clubs where the surnames matter and talent takes a back seat.

    In an interview with Hindustan Times, he spoke at length that he doesn’t regret the mistakes he committed in his acting career. Vivek said, “Regret is not the word I would choose. I believe you regret when you are not happy where they got you. If you take a wrong turn, and it is a bumpy road and you land at a place where there is nothing but scenic beauty around you. Then you thank that bumpy road. I am in that space where every single part of my journey, I treasure and I smile about it and laugh about it.”
    He also mentioned that he has a big complaint from the industry that Bollywood doesn’t nurture young talent instead focuses on the surname that an actor has.
    “As far as practical aspects of it, being ….(sounds funny when I say it) being a senior who has been around for 20 years, I do feel we have missed a trick or two. One big complaint that I have against my industry is that we haven’t developed a nursery that nurtures young talent. It is difficult. We made it into this exclusive club where it is either surname or who you know or which lobby or which darbar you do a salaam at… that matters, not your talent. That’s unfortunate,” he added.

    He went on to elaborate that it’s unfortunate to see how Bollywood’s big names are stuck with this age-old practice of giving opportunities to people who come with the tag of surnames.  
    Vivek further said, “For any industry to thrive, for any industry to grow, you need fresh ideas, you need people coming in and you need to be a welcoming space and not a space that goes on (to say), ‘Listen this is an exclusive club, and unless you have the right surname or the right contact, you are not in. That, to me, is unfortunate. I love that the OTT is playing the part of that nursery where we are discovering and nurturing stars as we watch content online. We watch The Scam 1992 and Pratik Gandhi becomes a star. That gives me great joy.”
    He then added, “That is something I (also try to do) in my own small, humble way. I attempt to bring in fresh talent, support new actors and remove any kind of hierarchical structure in the movies that I do. When I did this show (Inside Edge), for the small women empowerment story that I have in my head, I requested Excel (producers Excel Entertainment) to put Richa Chadha's name above mine. Even though technically, I have been in the industry longer than her, I said ‘no let it be starring Richa Chadha and then Vivek Oberoi. That is fine and that is something I celebrate. I celebrate all my women colleagues, I celebrate Richa as a great actor and I am fortunate to have worked with her. That equanimity, that sense of doing away with all hierarchical structures and just being creative people having fun on sets, is what should drive it.”

    Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif have not yet officially announced that they are getting married but the whole world already knows the minutest details about their wedding. From their wedding venue to the guest list, everything has been leaked on social media. As per reports, Vicky and Katrina will be tying the knot at Six Senses Fort Barwara, a resort in Sawai Madhopur, located just 30 minutes away from Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan. 
    As it will be an amalgamation of both Hindu and Christian wedding cultures, Vicky will be wearing a golden and beige coloured sherwani and the first pictures of his wedding outfit have already found their way on the internet.

    Well, there’s no clarity if Vicky will be wearing this particular outfit as the person carrying the sherwani didn’t confirm the same but the outfit was wrapped in a blue bag and had "Vicky" written on it. As per a report in India Today, Vicky will be wearing this golden sherwani in the Mehendi ceremony. Earlier, sources informed the leading media outlet that the theme of Mehendi will be gold, beige, ivory and white.

    For the unversed, Katrina and Vicky’s dating rumours had begun when during an award show, the actor had confessed that he has a huge crush on Katrina. While both were on the stage to present an award, Vicky had asked her "Why don't you find a nice boy like Vicky Kaushal and get married to him?" He further raised eyebrows by asking her, "Mujhse Shaadi Karogi?”
