The gym can anyway be an annoying place if you're the type who'd rather just spend time in bed in your jammies eating donuts, Netflix being the only place you'd associate your marathons with. I relate, homies.

    via GIPHY
However, for some, it's a holy place where you go in frustrated, and come out all refreshed. I relate to that too.

    via GIPHY
You know what's the best, though? An empty gym. Too bad it's rarely the case. A crowded gym is tolerable as well, if you don't run into certain specimens. We're talking about gym nightmares, the ones you'd do well to avoid at all costs. You know who we're talking about, don't you?

    via GIPHY
In case anyone needed a reminder, here's a comprehensive list of the 7 most annoying people you'll see at the gym, ranked in order of increasing annoyance.

    via GIPHY
    7. The Annoying Grunter  © iStock
There's nothing wrong in grunting when lifting heavy, as it's natural and the body's way of coping with the lift. But we're not complaining about the rightful grunters here. We're referring to the attention-seeking, annoying ones who grunt no matter what, even when there's absolutely no need to. You'd think they're birthing inside the gym while lifting 10 kg dumbbells. Go yell at home, suckas!

    6. The 'Half Rep Max Weights' Bhaiya  © iStock
We all have seen this guy. He will collect every single plate available around, and load up. Be it the squat rack or the leg press or deadlift zone, this guy just needs to make sure the weights are all maxed out. However, what does he do once he's done loading all the plates? Does a huge grunt, and does half a rep. And he's done! Bro, what was the point of it all? Your form is shit and you won't be able to lift even half of this weight with proper form. Grow up, you man-child!

    5. The 'Muft Ka Gyaan For Ladies' Wale Bhaiya © iStock
If it isn't the womanizer in disguise, yuck. This guy thinks that the gym is the physical manifestation of Tinder. Instead of focusing on his own workout, he will lurk around trying to spot women in the gym who are newbies, and would strike an unwanted conversation with them, trying to shell out unasked for 'advice'. Bro, you're just being a creep and women are smart enough to understand that. Just stop, please.

    4. Mr/Miss Call Centre © iStock
This gentleman/lady comes to the gym to talk. That's about it. They will never keep their phone down, and will discuss everything from their neighbours eloping to their boss having an affair, loudly. What's worse? They will occupy an equipment while doing that, while someone who genuinely needs it would be standing nearby, waiting for them to finish. You guys suck and should not be allowed inside a gym. I said what I said.

    3. The 'Equipment Hadapne Wala' Gang © iStock
This is usually a 'gym bro gang' with at least 2 to multiple people in it. They will have coordinated workouts, and would walk around the gym like they own it. They will occupy multiple pieces of equipment for long durations, taking turns and not allowing anyone else to use them till they are done. If your gym has a single squat rack/deadlift zone, and you end up having your leg day on the same day as theirs, you have my sympathies my man.

    2. Mr/Miss 'Paseene Ki Badboo' © iStock
This person has the money to buy a gym membership, but can't spend money on towels or deodorants. They sweat a lot, and then don't wipe the equipment after they are done. Also, they smell like a bag of dead turtles. You'd feel like sanitizing them too along with the equipment they've used if you care about personal hygiene or have a nose.
    1. The 'Gyaani Baba' Bhaiya © iStock
This one is the worst of the lot. His favourite catchphrase is: "Galat kar rahe ho!". He loves correcting your technique while not knowing the correct form himself. He will show you random WhatsApp forwards as 'his research', and will get on your nerves effortlessly. He criticizes everything and everyone, and judges anyone with a great physique accusing them of steroid usage. He also thinks protein supplements count as steroid and takes great pride in not having a 'dabbe wali body'. Avoid him like the plague.

Who else annoys you at the gym? Did we miss someone? Please let us know in the comments.

Tiger Shroff made his acting debut with the 2014 hit Heropanti and followed it up with an even bigger hit in Baaghi that released in 2016. After a couple of hiccups at the box office in A Flying Jatt and Munna Michael, Tiger delivered his first blockbuster in the 2018 film Baaghi 2.

He followed it up with a flop and a blockbuster in Student of the Year 2 and War, respectively. His last big screen release was Baaghi 3, which made close to Rs 100 crore before the pandemic cut short its box office collection.
Over the last seven years, Tiger has established himself as a bona fide box office star with more hits than misses. In fact, even his misses have earned quite a fair amount at the box office.
While commercially his films have mostly earned well, critically almost all of them have been dismal. In fact, the audience rating too has been poor for 7 out of 8 of his films.
Apart from War, which also featured Hrithik Roshan, all his films have been solo starrers and have recorded worse IMDb ratings. In fact, besides War, none of his other films have an IMDb rating higher than 5.5.
Here’s a look at Tiger Shroff’s filmography and the IMDb ratings of each of his films:
    Heropanti (2014) - 5.3/10 © Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment
Directed by Sabir Khan, Heropanti marked the acting debut of Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon. The movie earned Rs 50.51 crore at the domestic box office.

    Baaghi (2016) - 5.2/10 © Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment
Tiger’s second film, Baaghi also starred Shraddha Kapoor and marked the Bollywood debut of Telugu actor Sudheer Babu. The Sabir Khan directorial collected Rs 76 crore at the domestic box office.

    A Flying Jatt (2016) - 3.0/10 © Balaji Telefilms
Tiger turned superhero with A Flying Jatt co-starring Jacqueline Fernandez. The superhero flick was helmed by Remo D’Souza and collected Rs 30.76 crore at the domestic box office.

    Munna Michael (2017) – 3.1/10 © eros international
The movie marked Tiger’s reunion with his Heropanti and Baaghi director Sabir Khan. But third time wasn’t the charm for the duo as Munna Michael, also starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, could only earn Rs 33.71 crore at the box office in India.

    Baaghi 2 (2018) – 4.8/10 © Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment
Tiger Shroff bounced back with this Ahmed Khan directorial that went on to earn Rs 160.74 crore at the domestic box office. The movie also starred his rumoured girlfriend Disha Patani.

    Student of the Year 2 (2019) – 2.2/10 © Dharma Productions
Tiger’s first film with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions turned out to be a damp squib. The Punit Malhotra directorial that marked the acting debut of Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday failed at the box office earning only Rs 65.70 crore.

    War (2019) – 6.5/10 © Yash Raj Films
One of the highest grossing films of all time, War, directed by Siddharth Anand is the only Tiger Shroff starrer to have a fair IMDb rating. The film earned around Rs 300 crore at the box office.

    Baaghi 3 (2020) – 2.1/10 © Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment
The third film in the Baaghi franchise also starred Riteish Deshmukh and Shraddha Kapoor. The Ahmed Khan directorial earned Rs 92.31 crore before its box office run was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Add that to the Rs 1,591 Crore's net worth of wife Gauri Khan, who is a Bollywood producer at Red Chillies and also an interior designer, and you have the most powerful Bollywood couple.
    King Khan, through and through!

Gone are the days when a Test match, no matter which part of the world you play in, used to end in a draw despite the match going on for all five days without any external interventions.
A lot of this changing trend has to do with the advent of fast-paced T20 cricket because players these days score runs at brisk pace irrespective of the format they are playing, including the longest format of the game.
    So Near Yet So Far.

The first #INDvNZ Test in Kanpur ends in a draw. @Paytm #TeamIndia pic.twitter.com/dGckU0uBjl
    — BCCI (@BCCI) November 29, 2021
If we talk about India, normally we don’t often see a Test match ending without a clear winner even after five gruelling days of play. If we talk about the last home Test series against England, barring the opening match, none of the games lasted all five days. The last two matches in Ahmedabad ended well within three days.
That’s why it was heartening to see a pitch that produced a thrilling contest between bat and ball on all five days of the Kanpur Test match. As far as the Indian team is concerned they would have liked the surface to deteriorate just a wee bit more, allowing them to ask more questions of the Kiwis batters on the final day but apart from that there was no denying that it certainly was a neutral pitch that kept both batters and the bowlers in the game.
    © Instagram Indian Cricket Team
Team India head coach Rahul Dravid had his own set of complaints with the surface but still he reportedly gave Rs 35,000 to the Green Park ground staff for preparing a “sporting pitch” that made for an exciting contest on all five days.

As per news agency PTI, this announcement was made by the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) in the press box after the match wherein all the journalists were told that the former India skipper had paid the amount from his personal pocket.

“We would like to make an official announcement. Mr Rahul Dravid has paid Rs 35,000 personally to our groundsmen,” the UPCA announced in the press box after the game.
The batting legend said that he was delighted with the “great composure and fighting spirit” show by the Indian bowlers, who were able to to make a comeback after going wickteless in the morning session on what was “quite an unresponsive pitch” despite it being the fifth and the final day of the match.

    — BCCI (@BCCI) November 29, 2021
"We showed great composure and fighting spirit and worked really hard in that final session. It was quite an unresponsive pitch on the fifth day and a really good effort to have taken eight wickets after lunch, three in that session and five in the last session,” Dravid said at the post-match press conference.
Speaking about the surface, Dravid said that it was “low and slow, didn’t have much bounce” and also “didn’t offer as much turn”, something we all have become accustomed to while playing in India.
    © Twitter BCCI
“It was low and slow and probably didn't have that much bounce or didn't have a turn. Probably, you expect a little bit more wear and tear on the fifth day in Indian conditions over the course of five days. This didn't seem to have that kind of bite.

“Generally, in India on day five, spinners can challenge both edges -- inside and outside. You know you can beat people on the inside edge and get LBW. But honestly, in this game, the outside edge was virtually ruled out,” he explained his concern with the surface.
Kind Gesture Or Publicity Stunt? The 48-year-old former India skipper’s gesture evoked mixed reactions on social media. While some praised the coach for appreciating all the hard work put in by the groundsmen, others couldn’t comprehend how he could call it a ‘sporting pitch’ and at the same time go on a rant highlighting all the flaws in the surface. That’s why many described his kind gesture as nothing but “a publicity stunt”.

    — சாரு காசன் (@Sk_4862) November 29, 2021Before criticising the head coach, one must realise it’s Dravid we are talking about, who has always stayed away from such controversies all his life. The only reason why he gave away the amount from his own pocket was because he wanted to thank the groundsmen for all the efforts they put in during the course of the match.
Let's not forget that every single word that came out of his mouth during the post-match press conference regarding the pitch was from an Indian head coach’s perspective not a fan. That's why he pointed out things that he thought would have helped his bowlers win the match.

A few months ago, the internet was taken by a storm after a certain Korean show on Netflix became all the rage and caught our attention with ratings that were like never before. It was a ‘game’ changer, if I may.
For the uninitiated, we are talking about the popular show Squid Games  which, with its unique concept of turning childhood games into do or die battles, left people hooked and wanting for more.
Hellbound is ready to overtake Squid Game as your new Netflix obsession…!https://t.co/ujgq22Etsm pic.twitter.com/XNTHrQB5ly
    — ComicBook.com (@ComicBook) November 23, 2021
The show that initially premiered on 17th September, within a week by 26th September had been viewed for 1.91 billion minutes, making it the most-viewed show of the week. And now, not just following in its footsteps but also surpassing them is a new Korean show called the ‘Hellbound’ which has just as much potential as Squid Games for creating a global dent.
At the first glance, the two shows would seem like they fall under a similar category - gore, violent and thriller. But, it is upon a more nuanced look into the plot of this new show that one realises how it might have and unearth deeper layers than Squid Game could with it’s first season. After all, it took Hellbound merely a week to top the rankings Squid Game accumulated in weeks.

Both shows seem to stem out of a concept that is hard to miss and easy to relate with. While Squid Games tapped into the trials and tribulations of the common middle class man, struggling to make ends meet, Hellbound focuses on the very instinct and character of a person - good or evil.
    © Climax Studio
The show is set in a parallel world where an angel of death appears out of thin air to pronounce the exact date and time of death of people who've committed some form of crime and are the ‘damned’. This sentence is then carried out by three 'executors of hell’ on the specific date and time which are nothing but dark and hellish Hulk-like creatures who beat the living crap out of those sinners. They complete the sentence by then torching them to a crisp, sending them to "hell".
    © Climax Studio
While the undertone of Squid Games was just as dark, it was laced with the idea of childhood games in the plot somehow balancing out the grittier visuals. Whereas in Hellbound, the presence of a powerful cult called the ‘New Truth’ along with showing how online misinformation can be spread on social media in order to manipulate society, is what hits the viewer the most.

    via GIPHY
The idea of capitalising on people’s fear to push their own agenda is a plot too close to home and perhaps that is why this show creates more impact than Squid Games. Of course, the paranormal addition in the storyline is also an element that adds to it.

watching Hellbound on netflix, makes squid game look tame
    — Draft (@ShareZone5) November 21, 2021
As of now, this 6 episode series on Netflix is enjoying a 100% rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes  as fans call it the show that made Squid Games look tame.

Kapil Dev is undeniably India’s greatest-ever fast bowler. He is also the best all-rounder that Indians got to see in the country’s cricket history. Dev was the first cricketer to complete the double of 5000 runs and 400 wickets in international cricket. When India lost hope, it was Kapil Dev who changed the fate and won the World Cup in 1983.
    View this post on Instagram
Well, you can surely say that cricket runs in the blood of Indians, and Dev was no different. He was hardly 14 when he started playing for the DAV school. He made his first-class debut at the age of 17, in November 1975, against Punjab, and then there was no looking back for the former cricketer.
View this post on InstagramIt was 1983 he proved his worth as a batsman when he scored 175 of just 138 balls against Zimbabwe in the 1983 World Cup. In early 1994, he became the highest Test wicket-taker in the world, breaking the record held by Sir Richard Hadlee.
View this post on InstagramFor his illustrious cricketing career, he has been awarded Arjuna Award in 1980, which was followed by the Padma Shri award in 1982. He also was felicitated with Padma Bhushan award in 1991 and became the Wisden Indian Cricketer of the Century in 2002. In 2013, he received the CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement award.
    View this post on Instagram
Talking about his achievements, he earlier told The Hindu, “Playing for India is my No.1 achievement... Winning the 1983 World Cup and, then, winning the 1990-1991 Ranji Trophy by defeating mighty Bombay on their home ground... On a strictly personal note, I’d like to add becoming the most successful Test bowler, eclipsing (Sir Richard) Hadlee’s 431. As records are meant to be broken, even mine got bettered. I left at 434 wickets, the world record stands at 800... Muttiah Muralidharan has taken it to that astonishing level.”
