The Fast & The Furious franchise began in the early 2000s as an American street racing film series and since then has gone on to become a lot of things. I mean, if you have to really sum all of the first 9 bloody movies in one word, you'd just have to utter the word, 'Family!' Because that's really what the franchise has been all about, apart from the crazy, at times physics-defying action sequences.

And guess what? The family just kept on getting bigger, despite losing out on the gem of a person and actor that was the blue-eyed Paul Walker. There have been many names that have been added to the roster of the Fast movie series, and bigger names call for bigger egos. And that's what really happened.

One of the most prominent things was the tiff between superstars Vin Diesel and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, who clashed during the filming five years ago.

Since then, Dwayne departed from the series soon after and instead started Hobbs & Shaw, leaving the Fast franchise still with a lot of stars. However, Vin Diesel, who recently saw the release of the latest film in the series, Fast 9 wants to finally put an end to his feud with The Rock, and bring him back to The Family. The XXX actor even wrote an Instagram post to invite the star back to the franchise.

In the post above, Vin Diesel wrote, “My little brother Dwayne… the time has come. The world awaits the finale of Fast 10. As you know, my children refer to you as Uncle Dwayne in my house. There is not a holiday that goes by that they and you don't send well wishes… but the time has come. Legacy awaits. I told you years ago that I was going to fulfill my promise to Pablo [Paul Walker]. I swore that we would reach and manifest the best Fast in the finale that is 10! I say this out of love… but you must show up, do not leave the franchise idle, you have a very important role to play. Hobbs can't be played by no other. I hope that you rise to the occasion and fulfill your destiny.”
Aww! This really seems honest and despite all the fights and controversies, who wouldn't want them to return together and be Hollywood's own version of Karan-Arjun.
