Arguably one of the most important and rather worrisome problems that the Indian cricket team needs to face and get over is whether or not Hardik Pandya will be available as a bowler during the T20 World Cup 2021 match against New Zealand.
In the pre-match press conference, skipper Virat Kohli had expressed the need for every single team in this edition of the World Cup to have a sixth bowling option, just to be able to deliver a couple of good overs.

"Game situation dictates when to use your sixth bowling option. In our last match, if they (Pakistan) batted first, I could also have bowled one or two overs. But in the second innings when we needed wickets, we just had to bowl our primary bowlers. It's not that a team with six-seven bowling options doesn’t lose," the Indian captain had said.
On the same day, videos began to appear on social media in which Pandya could be seen putting in some minutes in the nets trying to get back in his groove with the ball after not being able to do so for the entire 2021 season of the Indian Premier League.

Former Indian cricketer and fast-bowler, Ajit Agarkar has now expressed concerns about Kohli’s idea of making Pandya bowl a few overs against the great Black Cap hitters, especially because he has had just a couple of days to practice in the nets before bowling at a stage as big as the World Cup.
β€œYes, we did see Hardik in the nets. But he hasn't bowled in the last couple of months. And as a bowler, I know how difficult it is to come and bowl during a match situation. So I feel this shouldn't happen where a bowler isn't fully fit and that costs you the game. And the bowler won't be at fault here. So it will be a risky option expecting the bowler, who has been out for so many months, to perform after only two days of practice. That will surely not be my sixth bowling option hence India are likely to play with just five bowlers,” he said speaking to ESPNCricinfo.

"Maybe if Kohli bowls one or two overs in between then that would be the best possible solution for India as of now. There is a question mark now how much Hardik can deliver as a bowler," he added.

On Saturday, Indian skipper Virat Kohli addressed the media members on a couple of important talking points which included Hardik Pandya's injury update and the team’s plan to use or rest him for the match against New Zealand on Sunday.
Already not feeling a hundred percent, the Men in Blue had confirmed that he was not going to bowl against Pakistan in India’s opening match of the T20 World Cup 2021. However, when Pandya came to bat in the first half of the contest, he suffered a huge blow to his shoulder and had to be taken for a medical check-up instantly.

His situation was bad enough for him to not be present on the field during India’s bowling and had to be replaced by Ishan Kishan as a substitute fielder. And yet, during the conference yesterday, Kohli said that Pandya is β€œabsolutely fine”.
A couple of days ago, former Indian cricketer, Sandeep Patil had raised some serious questions about accountability and justification for including Pandya in the squad despite not being able to bowl during the entire IPL season and struggling to perform with the bat as well.
    View this post on Instagram
β€œHis selection in the XI is up to the captain and the coach, and only the BCCI will know about it," Patil was quoted as saying by The Times of India. "But basically, if a player is not fit, then it comes to the selectors. If he didn’t bowl in the entire IPL, the selectors should have taken a call. They should have asked for a fitness test before including him in the team for the World Cup."
"Someone has to be accountable," added Patil. "There’s no comment from Ravi Shastri. Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane said that he’s fit. How can you say he’s fit, if he became unfit during the match? I mean, this is the World Cup, not just any series or match."
Others decided to join Patil in asking these very important questions:
What is this β€œif you are talking about the bow on shoulder.” Is he not fit?

β€” Calmasutra (@gufawaale) October 30, 2021I am not sure who prefers pandya in the playing 11, Kohli or Msd or Rohit ? Kohli didnt want him strictly during test series because he couldn't bowl, then why will he take him now if he can't bowl
β€” Just4Cricket (@GodLightTruth) October 31, 2021From the way Kohli spoke in the press conference, I think India would play the same team. The only change they might make is Ashwin for Varun. I would not make that change. I would bring Ashwin in for a batter-only Pandya and Thakur for Bhuvi. https://t.co/a1jpNE5KXk
β€” Sreejith Mullappilli (@Mullappilli) October 31, 2021Kohli also addressed the social media abuse that his teammate Mohammed Shami had faced after giving away the match-losing runs to Pakistani skipper Babar Azam in the first match. He called the trolls β€œspineless” for hiding behind fake accounts to spread religious hate while not being able to say anything to anyone in person.

More modern designs with front over laps and a flared asymmetrical bottom that appears like a knee-length frock have become popular now.
The word Angrakha stems from the Sanskrit word Angarakshak or protection of the body and this particular style of kurta will surely have you covered from committing any fashion faux pas this festive-wedding season.Β

Tips To Buy & Style A Kurta?*insert inside image here*
Be mindful of the fit. Don’t go for something which is tight or too loose, the beauty of a kurta is in a flattering regular fit.Β
Ensure that the length of the kurta is not longer than knee-length. Long kurtas with churidar pyjamas are so last season, short kurtas teamed with straight fit pants is the new cool.
Once you are done picking the right kurta and the pants to go with it, think of levelling up your look. Consider buying a Nehru jacket, or a brooch to elevate your style.
Always finish with a slick pair of footwear. Think Kolhapuris, mojaris, strappy sandals or a toe ring and single strap flats for a more elegant look.

It has been exactly a week since the Indian cricket team lost their first match of the T20 World Cup 2021 against Pakistan at the Dubai International Stadium. It has also been a week since the time Mohammed Shami was called out on the basis of his religion after giving away the match-winning runs in his over.
However, since then, a lot of public figures, celebrities, and even his very own teammates have raised their voices against all the online hate Shami has been receiving over the past 6-7 days. A day before India’s match against New Zealand, skipper Virat Kohli spoke candidly about those people who were coward enough to abuse his teammate while hiding behind fake accounts.

"Attacking someone over their religion is the most pathetic thing one can do as a human. That is a very sacred and personal thing. People take out their frustration because they have no understanding of what we do," Kohli told the reporters in a pre-match conference on Saturday.
"We're playing on the field, we're not a bunch of spineless people on social media. This has become a source of entertainment for some people which is very sad. All this drama created on the outside is based on people's frustrations," Kohli added. "We stand by by him 200 per cent. Our brotherhood in the team cannot be shaken."
After such strong and supportive comments made by Kohli about his pacer, an old video of Shami being questioned about his loyalty towards the nation has been doing the rounds on the internet.Β

Back in 2018, the cricketer was in the middle of an ugly separation from his now-estranged wife Hasin Jahan, who had said that Shami was part of a match-fixing incident and that she also had the proof about him taking money from a Pakistani girl to help pre-determine the result of a game.
β€œIf Md. Shami can cheat me then he can cheat the county as well. He accepted money from a Pakistani girl named Alisbah in Dubai. He agreed to accept it after the insistence of England-based Mohammed Bhai. I have proof,” Jahan had said.
β€œI have also played with my heart, given more than 100% every time I walked on to the field. I have huge respect for security personnel guarding our border. I always think about their hardship. I would prefer to die rather before even thinking about something even remotely close to match-fixing,” Shami had gone on to address the issues about these allegations in yet another interview back then.
