The International Cricket Council had to step in and ask the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) to start an investigation after thousands of ticketless fans created havoc during the T20 World Cup 2021 match between Pakistan and Afghanistan at the Dubai International Stadium on Friday.
According to the statement released by the global cricket body, a total of 16,000 tickets were sold ahead of the clash between the two big teams in the shortest format of the game. However, thousands of fans, who did not have access to the ground, tried to forcefully enter the premises while pushing over at least one external barrier.
The ICC has asked Emirates Cricket Board to investigate on crowd behaviour during Pakistan and Afghanistan game. (Reported by ANI).
    โ€” Mufaddal Vohra (@mufaddal_vohra) October 30, 2021
"Dubai Police and security staff secured the stadium to ensure the safety of everyone inside and brought in significant additional resources to disperse the crowd and calm the situation," the statement said. "At approximately 7pm, Dubai Police directed that all gates should remain closed and no further entry was permitted to maintain a safe and controlled environment inside the venue."
"The ICC has asked the ECB to undertake a thorough investigation into tonight's events to learn any lessons and will work closely with authorities to ensure there is no repeat of this situation in the future."
It did not take long for the fans on social media to starting throwing shade at each other after the news of vandalism broke out:
Pakistan and it's people are so disturbing. Everywhere they go create chaos.

โ€” junaiz (@Junaiz_tweets) October 30, 2021While the attempted break-in was already a health and safety hazard, given the global pandemic, one of the biggest problems caused by the chaos was that some of the fans who had purchased the tickets were unable to enter the stadium. The ICC had to issue a formal apology to these ticket-holders who were asked to contact their providers for an amicable solution.
The United Arab Emirates has a massive fan following for the game of cricket, especially when two Asian teams are competing against each other.ย

After incurring loss despite a hard-fought match against Babar Azamโ€™s side, Afghan skipper Mohammad Nabi requested all the fans of the squad to purchase a ticket and come to watch their team perform legally. "For the Afghan fans, please buy a ticket and come to the stadium. Don't repeat again. This is not good," he said.

Aryan might have returned home but there are some conditions that he has to adhere toย and he wonโ€™t be leaving for the US anytime soon. According to reports online, these conditions are as follows:ย
    1. Aryan Khan has been asked to submit his passport and he cannot leave Mumbai without permission.ย
    2. He will have to report to the NCB office every Friday, between 11 am and 2 pm.ย
    3. He will have to cooperate with the NCB investigations whenever he is called to report. His legal team will accompany him.ย
    4. Aryan has also been asked to not try and establish any communication with co-accused (Arbaaz Merchant) or any other person- involved directly or indirectly in similar activities/cases.ย
    5. He will not be allowed to indulge in any activity similar to the activities on the basis of which the said CR stands registered against them for offenses under the NDPS Act.ย
    6. Aryan is also not allowed to make any public statement in the matter or any form of media โ€” print, electronic or social media.ย
    7. If any of these conditions are violated, the court has stated that the NCB can request the cancellation of bail.ย
Even though Aryan has returned home, the road ahead is definitely not easy, given the strict do's and don'ts he's supposed to adhere to. Nonetheless, fans are celebrating his return in full fervour.ย

Pakistanโ€™s Asif Ali played an exceptionally quick knock against Afghanistan to help give his team a 3-0 start to their T20 World Cup 2021 campaign. In just seven deliveries, the middle-order hitter scored 25 runs, 24 of which came off sixes.
For his unbeaten and rather heroic performance with the bat to turn the tables in favour of the tournament underdogs, Ali was honoured with the โ€˜Player of the Matchโ€™ award.

However, there was one very specific moment in the game, when Ali celebrated his innings by borrowing a page out of former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoniโ€™s book. He took the front end of the bat and put it on his shoulders, and used his hand to mimic the mechanics of a rifle.ย
Trying to make the most out of the match-winnerโ€™s celebration, his Pakistan Super League franchise Islamabad United used the pictures to ask the fans for their reactions. However, they soon realised the kind of mistake they had made.

Instead of commending Ali on his batting abilities and six-hitting prowess, the comments section was abuzz with discussions about terrorism in Pakistan and the promotion of violence in a cricket ground.

โ€” Prof. Dhoni 2.0 (@_introvertNigga) October 29, 2021"He (Asif Ali) is known for this. He has played many innings at the PSL (Pakistan Super League). So I was very confident he'd get us out of any trouble we find ourselves in," Pakistan captain Babar Azam said after his team scored a hat-trick of wins to stay on top in group 2 points table. "I was confident pre-tournament itself that he would deliver when needed."
This isnโ€™t the first time that Ali had to carry the team on his shoulders across the finish line. Just a couple of days ago, he had also played a very important and mature inning to get the victory over Kane Williamsonโ€™s New Zealand squad.

"Yes, I knew that there was a single, but I had confidence that I will hit sixes and score the needed runs," Asif said. "They did not bowl towards the shorter boundaries but I hit him towards the longer side."
Asif said he had been practicing batting under such pressure. "My job is to hit sixes, so I practice in scenarios based on situations, needing to hit sixes in the last five overs type situations," he said.

After almost a month, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan would have finally breathed a sigh of relief after their eldest son Aryan Khan was finally granted bailย in the NCB cruise ship drug case. It had been a long fight and clearly one that brought Shah Rukh, the Badshah of Bollywood, down to his knees.
    ยฉ BCCL
However, with Shah Rukh Khan's legal team doing everything in their power, Aryan has finally been reunited with his family at the Mannat home. Now, while things may look up for Aryan, Shah Rukh, and the rest of Bollywood just now, they are far from straightforward. A bail is no holiday ticket, and the court has made it a point to tell Aryan just that.

How? By stamping a five-page long list of things that he can and cannot do. The Bombay High Court dictated the conditions of bail that Aryan must now follow or risk going back to jail.
    ยฉ BCCL
In order to fulfill the bail criteria, Aryan, alongside Arbaaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, and others would need to execute a PR Bond of Rs 1 lakh with one or more sureties in the like amount. It's sort of common sense but they were also ordered not to indulge in any similar activities for which they were charged.

As per the order, Aryan, Arbaaz, and Munmun should visit the NCB office every Friday between 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM to mark their presence. They are also to refrain from making any statement or sharing anything on social media regarding the proceedings pending before the Special Court. Under the order, Aryan & others also cannot leave the country without permission from the Special Court and are supposed to surrender their passports immediately.
"All the applicants are also ordered to join the investigation whenever called upon before the authorities of NCB, also they canโ€™t delay the trial under any circumstances." according to the order.
"Lastly, if Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha violate any of these terms, NCB shall be permitted to immediately apply to the Special Judge/Court to terminate their bail," it added.
This all goes to prove that while Aryan may have gotten the bail, things are really far from over in the case, and he'll have to be patient and vigilant to stay out of trouble.ย

According to a report by the Press Trust of India, Virat Kohli and the Indian cricket team are likely to face the New Zealand squad with the same Playing XI as they did against Pakistan a week ago.
This suggests that Hardik Pandya, who was clearly struggling with form, is unable to bowl due to his injuries, and even got hurt in the first match of the T20 World Cup 2021 campaign, will get yet another opportunity to prove himself within the roster solely as a batter.
    View this post on Instagram
Meanwhile, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who was also seen struggling on the spin-friendly pitch of the Dubai International Stadium during the contest against Babar Azamโ€™s side, would get another shot as well.
This is what reports have been calling mentor Mahendra Singh Dhoniโ€™s โ€˜CSK Templateโ€™, which basically shows faith in the original Playing XI and does not start making changes in the team just after one match, regardless of how humiliating and one-sided the defeat was.ย
    View this post on Instagram
However, making no changes to the Playing XI would also mean that in-form players like Shardul Thakur will not be getting the chance to show what theyโ€™ve got. Additionally, some players like Ravichandran Ashwin, who possess a ton of spinning variations, while also having the ability to bat when required, will also remain at the sidelines, even though the Dubai turf is highly suitable for the kind of game he has.ย
The news has clearly upset a lot of Indian fans from all over the country, especially after team insiders had speculated finally dropping Pandya and Kumar from the squad and getting a hard-hitter southpaw like Ishan Kishan, or an all-rounder like Shardul Thakur on board.
Wtf man!? Take out Hardik, take in Shardul, or maybe Ishan
โ€” Anonymous :)) (@45_Anonymous_18) October 30, 2021Just want Shardul in for Bhuvi . Bhuvi needs a rest imo
    โ€” Kaygee18 (@Kaygee1803) October 30, 2021Don't they want to change the result?
    โ€” Satark (@Arya_satark) October 30, 2021If it is
    Will not watch the match
I don't know if it is arrogance or something else
We start that same 11 and we are losing it
โ€” Eminent Socialist (@wnnabesocial) October 30, 2021Mfs don't want to make it semis . Should drop injury Kumar atleast .
โ€” `` (@KollyfiedGirl) October 30, 2021Since India and New Zealand are in the same group in the Round of 12, and have played and lost a match against Pakistan, their contest on Sunday is essentially a make-or-break event for both sides if they wish to progress into the semi-final round.
The last time the Men in Blue defeated the Black Caps in an ICC tournament was all the way back in 2003. In the recent past, India have also been knocked out of major tournaments by the Kiwis, including the 2019 World Cup semi-final, and the 2020-2021 World Test Championshipย in England.
