With just four days left for Virat Kohli’s final assignment as the T20I captain of the Indian cricket team, a BCCI official has confirmed that vice-captain Rohit Sharma will be assuming the role and responsibilities at the end of the T20 World Cup 2021.
“It’s no secret who is going to take over. Rohit Sharma has been in the leadership group and will take over from Virat after T20 World Cup. An official announcement will be made after the World Cup,” the BCCI source told InsideSport on Tuesday.
BCCI official (in InsideSport) said "Rohit Sharma will be the captain of T20 format after the World Cup, announcement will be made after the mega event".
— Johns. (@CricCrazyJohns) October 20, 2021
Last month, Kohli had announced his resignation from the T20I captaincy following the World Cup citing workload management as a crucial reason. He wished to continue to work on his skills as a batter and hopefully bring back his supernatural form in the coming months.
“I’ve decided to step down as the T20 captain after this T20 World Cup in Dubai in October… Understanding workload is a very important thing and considering my immense workload over the last 8-9 years playing all three formats and captaining regularly for the last five to six years, I feel I need to give myself space to be fully ready to lead the Indian team in Test and ODI cricket,”- Kohli said in a statement on his Twitter page.
View this post on Instagram
Ever since his announcement, it was speculated that Sharma would definitely be the one to take command of the team. It is also being speculated after a brief period of time, Kohli will also give up his role as the Indian captain in One-Day Internationals. While the white-ball matches will be led by Sharma, Kohli will captain Team India in the longest format of the game.
However, not everyone is happy with Sharma replacing Kohli as the Men in Blue captain in the shortest format of the game. There were people who felt that KL Rahul deserved to be the skipper more than Sharma.

Leading a country in a major tournament is a dream that most players grow up wishing for but only a handful of them come to fruition. Virat Kohli has been one of the most successful Indian captains of all-time but despite that he always faces criticism for failing to win major ICC tournaments.
© Reuters
Unlike most players, who can get away by focusing on their individual performance, a player like Kohli has to think about many other things besides his own performance. The captaincy workload does take a toll on a player’s body over the years and things become even more difficult when runs are not flowing off your bat like they once used to.
Playing as a specialist batter if you are not scoring runs, then questions are asked whether you deserve a place in the team. No matter how well you’re doing as a leader of the group, your individual performance always counts, especially for fans who feel you’re wasting one spot on the team sheet.
© Twitter ICC
England skipper Eoin Morgan is going through a lean patch and as it has become a trend there fans are suggesting that he should drop himself from the starting line-up if his poor form continues as it will harm the team's chances of going all the way in the tournament.
Even Morgan acknowledges that his dry run is a big cause of concern for the team, which won the tournament in 2010 and many believe is a strong contender to win the competition this year as well.
© Twitter Eoin Morgan
When asked about whether he would be willing to drop himself from the starting line-up to accommodate an in-form player, he said: “It's always an option. I'm not going to stand in the way of a team winning the World Cup.”
“I've been short of runs but my captaincy has been pretty good. I've always managed to compartmentalise both and treat them as two different challenges. Not being a bowler and being a bit older and not contributing as much in the field, I've loved the role of captain. You get two bites at the cherry (in) impacting the game,” the 2019 World Cup winning captain said during a virtual press conference.

While Morgan vowing to put his team above himself earned him a huge respect in the eyes of Indian fans, there was a group of Kolkata Knight Riders supporters who slammed him for costing them the IPL title. They questioned if he was indeed such a great team man, why didn’t he do the same in the IPL final, despite failing miserably throughout the tournament.
Some Kohli haters dragged the Indian skipper in this whole issue and urged that he should learn something from Morgan and drop himself from the Playing XI for the sake of the team, because he has not been able to perform to his full potential in the last couple of years. They argued that Kohli should learn from his England counterpart how to act unselfish and put the team above himself.
Kohli should learn from him
— P R I Y A N S H U (@TheRohiitEra) October 19, 2021That's why Morgan > Kohli
— Arav (@iSRKsArzz) October 19, 2021Gambhir also did this in IPL (and also didn't took any money)
— Tips (@crkt_myrelgn) October 19, 2021Kohli should learn from Morgan.
— S.M. (@NeeCUMMA) October 19, 2021Kohli should learn from him.
— Satark (@Arya_satark) October 19, 2021Kohli should learn from him.
— Abhijeet (@King__Ro45) October 19, 2021While it’s true that the last couple of years have not been ideal for the Indian talisman, with his last international century coming way back in November 2019 in a Test match against Bangladesh, still he is one of the best T20 batters in world cricket.
He was the second-highest run-scorer for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2021 and played a key role in them reaching the knockout stage of the tournament.
© Reuters
He has been India’s top-scorer in the last few editions of the T20 World Cup and counting him off would be a big mistake because a player of his calibre knows how to perform at the biggest stage under difficult circumstances.

Much has already been written and discussed about the proverbial G-spot in women. The ultimate erogenous zone that, if stimulated well, can give you a toe-curling orgasm.
But did you know that men have a G-spot too? Oh yes, we do and the good news is unlike the mysterious female G-spot, the male G-spot, also called the prostate, is relatively easy to locate.
Here’s everything you need to know about this male pleasure point — what it is, how to find it, and what to do with it to make your partner achieve a full-body orgasm.
What Is A Male G-Spot?The male G-spot actually is the men’s prostate. It is a walnut-sized gland, also called the P-spot (‘P’ for prostate) which is located about 2 inches inside the rectum. It sits just below the bladder, between the passage of the sensitive skin called perineum that runs underneath the scrotum all the way to the anus.
Prostate As A Pleasure PointThe primary function of this gland is to help in reproduction by producing seminal fluid and help sperm live longer after they are released from the *****. But, the prostate is a super sensitive erogenous zone in the penile region which is great at producing intense orgasms.
Excited about the idea of using this pleasure point to elevate your *** life? But, before that let’s learn how to find the male G-spot in the first place.
How To Find The P-Spot? Depending on your partner’s and your comfort level, you can actually reach this sensitive spot both internally and externally.
If you want to get really up close and stimulate the G-spot, the anus is your gateway. Like we mentioned, it's located about 2 inches inside the rectum, so a person can insert a lubricated finger into the anus, with the finger pointing towards the front of their body.
And if you are looking for a less penetrative option to tease this pleasure point, you can stimulate it externally by applying pressure on the perineum, the sensitive skin that runs underneath the scrotum and the anus.
MensXP
How To Stimulate A Man’s G-Spot?Whether it is partnered ***, self-stimulation, or a guy-guy situation, the G-spot can really come in handy to take your *** life to a whole new high. Here’s how to stimulate this magic spot to make your partner achieve a full-body orgasm.
Sanitise Your Hands Along with preparing your mind for the big deed, it would be nice to prepare your hands also for the business. Trim and file your nails beforehand so that there are less chances of injuries and spread of bacteria.
Be sure to thoroughly wash your hands or use wipes for freshening up, both before and after anal play. Consider alcohol free wipes to avoid any skin irritation.
__ECOMPRODUCT__1633__
Relax. Get In The Mood. When it comes to ***, you never start with the dessert. Point is to get fully aroused, so much so that reaching to the prostate levels up your experience and is a natural progression.
So, indulge in a lot of foreplay, give sensual massage a try, explore their other erogenous zones and then gradually reach for the prostate. How? Start with stimulating the perineum before putting your finger up the anus.
Experiment with different speed and pressures to rub, stroke, and stimulate the perineum with the tip of your finger.
If penetration is on the menu next, don’t forget to use protection.
__ECOMPRODUCT__2160__
Use A Nice LubeReady to find that magic spot and send your partner to paradise? Move over petroleum jelly and get some lube. Nothing quite enhances sexual pleasure like a nice lube.
Apply lube to your fingers and slowly insert your finger (an inch or two) into your bedroom bae’s anus and start moving your finger in an upward motion to the front of the body, towards the navel.
Now, gently feel around to find the P-spot. It feels like a bulb of tissue. Once you locate it, move your finger in a circular motion against the prostate.
__ECOMPRODUCT__2161__
You can simultaneously stroke or suck each other’s genitals to kick the pleasure up a notch.
__ECOMPRODUCT__2484__
Dos & Don'ts For Stimulating The Male G-SpotIf anal play is a new territory for your partner, a candid discussion to ensure that they are comfortable is advisable. Rimming your partner before inserting your finger inside can enhance the pleasure 10x times and prepare them better for the deed.If you are the one receiving some pleasurable prostate play, p-spot stimulation can make you feel the urge to pee, and anal penetration can bring on the sensation of wanting to take a dump. It’s best to do both beforehand to enjoy the big moment without worrying about an embarrassing mishap.Prostate play is all about taking your pleasure to the next level, so do what you need to immerse in the experience. It could mean introducing *** toys, asking for more lube, trying different positions, using a latex glove and speaking up for more of what you want. The best and the most comfortable position to try G-spot stimulation is the doggy style or facedown. Use a pillow to raise your partner’s butt while trying the facedown position. The BottomlineYou may have a ton of information at your disposal on how to increase pleasure in the bedroom with your bae but unless you explore it on your own, you would never be able to figure out what works for you.
The prostate definitely has the potential to live up to all the hype around G-spots and sexual pleasure, so communicate with your partner and use our guide to stimulate their G-spot and experience that ultimate orgasm. Don’t forget to use a lot of lube to make the experience a smooth ride.

Getting a job is no easy task. In today’s cutthroat competition, it is even more difficult. Your qualification is simply not enough when the other candidate has 20 years of experience (was he working since birth?) and a dynamic personality. This encourages the job seekers to tell a tiny white lie here and there to land the job.
© Dharma Productions
Even though the stakes are high, most people tell little lies in their job interviews. Saying “I work well under pressure,” or “I am okay with working on weekends” and the most common one is “My weakness is that I work too much.”
Not just the interviewee, the interviewers sometimes lie too about working hours and culture and especially when they turn the applicant down by saying “there has been a change in policies”.
© Yash Raj Films
However, what if we could be completely honest in our interviews? Sure, we would be jobless forever. But isn’t honesty a trait to be cherished and encouraged? Well, it may not be possible to apply in real life (we need a job to pay the bills) but desis wondered how they would answer common interview questions if they could be totally and brutally honest with their potential employers.
© iStock
#HonestInterviews has been trending on Twitter where people are coming up with hilarious and true answers to some of the most common questions asked in a job interview.
Here are the best responses that made so much sense.
Interviewer: What makes you different from all others?
Me: Peer pressure me aake bhi Squid Games nahi dekha.#HonestInterview
— Shibhhuu (@shibhhuu) October 9, 2021Interviewer- So why should we hire you?
Engg students- please just hire us#HonestInterview
— Rii. (@Riyaa_16) October 9, 2021#HonestInterview
Interviewer: How do you deal with pressure situations ?
Me: pic.twitter.com/YZf87By5z4
— Humorous_forever (@ForeverHumorous) October 9, 2021Job interviewer : How efficient are you?
Me : I save screenshots for future references! #honestinterview
— (@_geethikaa) October 9, 2021Job Interviewer: How would you prioritize assignments in a high pressure situation?
Me: Akkad bakkad Bambey Boo#HonestInterview
— Meha (@BitchMastaani) October 9, 2021Job Interviewer: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Me: Waiting for RCB to win IPL#HonestInterview
— Ankita (@Memeswalimulagi) October 9, 2021These are some brilliant and brutal answers that every job applicant has in fact thought of before blurting out a fancy answer (lie) everytime these questions are asked.
A lot of people also lie on their resume which is sometimes okay (if the lie is not too big) and can actually help you get the job.
© iStock
But after seeing these honest answers, it seems like it is better to make up a fancy answer than being this honest in interviews too. Or, we will stay unemployed for life.

If you are a fan of Hardik Pandya, you would know how close he is to his Mumbai Indians teammate Kieron Pollard. Their brotherhood, despite being from two very different corners of the world remains unscathed and whenever it is the Indian Premier League season, Pandya and Pollard are practically inseparable.
In a conversation with ESPNcricinfo, Pandya spoke about the characteristics of his Windies counterpart which makes him so likable.
View this post on Instagram
"We call him grandpa. He is from West Indies but he is actually a Gujarati at heart. He literally functions like an Indian: a guy who believes in property, a guy who believes in investments, a guy who believes: instead of buying a car, I'll buy property because it will grow, Ek rupiah Nahin waste karoonga (I won't waste a rupee)," said the Indian all-rounder.
Comparing the Trinidadian cricketer with his own brother Krunal, Hardik says that he doesn’t feel any difference between the two people. He adds how he has learnt a lot of important life lessons from Pollard over the years.
View this post on Instagram
"How Krunal is for me, Pollard is the same. He has been part of the international circuit for a long time. I don't sometimes understand how it functions, but he has taught me to let it be. I am very upfront if I don't like something. There are lots of times when he has calmed me down, lots of times when he has given me life lessons," Hardik Pandya added.
He even deep-dived into the origin story of the Pandya-Pollard duo and how it was because of his brother that the two international stars began to interact with each other.
View this post on Instagram
"The relationship started because of Krunal. In 2015 at the IPL I did not speak to Polly. He was in the next room but it was just "Hi Polly, bye Polly." In 2016, when Krunal came in, I started talking to Polly. Polly is now family, not just a friend, not just a team-mate," he said.
Pandya and the Indian side will be starting off with their ICC T20 World Cup 2021 campaign against Pakistan on October 24, 2021, at the Dubai International Stadium whereas Kieron Pollard’s Windies side will take on England a day earlier at the same venue.

With only days left in the India vs Pakistan match in the T20 World Cup, the anticipation around the marquee clash has increased exponentially on various social media platforms -- albeit not all of it is positive.
A section of Indian fans are demanding the boycott of the match in the wake of recent killings of innocent civilians in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
But there is also a vast majority of supporters who are not in favour of mixing sports and politics and want the match to go ahead as scheduled.
© Reuters
While Indian fans have fond memories of playing against Pakistan, their counterparts are still haunted by all the losses they endured in the World Cups (both ODI and T20I) in the last two decades.
As far as the T20 World Cup is concerned, both sides have come face to face on five occasions in the tournament and India emerged victorious in all of them. All those victories came under MS Dhoni’s leadership but he has retired from international cricket and the responsibility of keeping India’s unbeaten run intact lies on Virat Kohli’s shoulders, who has decided to relinquish T20I captaincy after the tournament.
© Reuters
Despite India’s unbeaten run, ahead of every new match Pakistani supporters rally behind their team, hoping for a change of result. The last time these two sides faced off was during the group stage of the 2019 ODI World Cup and India had registered a convincing victory in a rain-curtailed encounter in Manchester.
After the match, a lot of memes of Pakistani fans expressing their disappointment over their side’s lacklustre performance had gone viral on social media. One such meme featuring a British-Pakistani influencer Momin Saqib had taken social media by storm.
Nailed it @mominsaqib and @Bilalbinsaqib .@azharjavaiduk very good interview. pic.twitter.com/VCVlUMdFpB
— Ibrahim Tariq Shafi (@IbrahimTShafi) June 16, 2019
His famous “Maaro Mujhe Maaro” rant had made him an overnight sensation. The Pakistani fans resonated with the disappointment in his eyes as he slammed Pakistani players’ shoddy fitness levels and questioned their eating habits.
Not just in Pakistan, the video became a huge hit across the border as well, where fans enjoyed Saqib’s slamming his own players after yet another loss in a comic manner.
More than two years after the defeat, Saqib has posted yet another video on his Instagram account, showing his excitement for the upcoming clash between India and Pakistan.
View this post on Instagram
In the video he can be heard saying that there are only two big encounters in cricket, one between India and Pakistan and the other one with Aamir Khan in Lagaan. He signs off by saying this match is a must-win for Pakistan at all costs.
Supporters from both the countries flooded the comments section trying to troll each other. While Indian fans were confident of Virat Kohli’s team maintaining their unbeaten run, Pakistani supporters more than players’ skills relied on their prayers for their side’s turn of fortunes. More than two years after the 2019 World Cup loss, the pain in Saqib’s voice was still there.

Former England cricketer Michael Vaughan has given his predictions for the T20 World Cup 2021, conveying that Eoin Morgan’s squad is the team to beat during the tournament. However, he didn’t stop before calling out Team India for being called the “favourites” in the shortest format of the game.
"I don't know how India get the 'Favourites' tag in T20 Cricket." - Michael Vaughan (To BBC Test match special)
— CricketMAN2 (@man4_cricket) October 20, 2021
“England for me are the favourites. I don’t know how India get the 'favourites' tag in T20 cricket. I just think they’ve been a long way off in the last few tournaments,” Vaughan said in the BBC Test Match Special podcast.
Usually, the fans of the Men in Blue are very possessive about their team and will fight anyone who said anything similar to what Vaughan said. However, this time around, they ended up thanking the Englishman for his comments:
We will never forget your contribution, thank you @MichaelVaughan
— R A T N I S H (@LoyalSachinFan) October 20, 2021 pic.twitter.com/E0ueuBFGzP
— Aditya (@CricCrazyAdi) October 20, 2021Thanks @MichaelVaughan
Adha kam to aapne kar diya.
— Rahul_parmar (@rahulparmar737) October 20, 2021Thankyou @MichaelVaughan
— lawgical Anna (@annaanupam1) October 20, 2021Why such a weird reaction? Well, Vaughan is known for getting his predictions wrong more often than not. Usually, the team he ends up underestimating, comes out on top, while defeating the side he had been supporting publicly.
View this post on Instagram
He also went on to name the two teams that he feel posed the biggest threat to England from winning the trophy namely the West Indies and Pakistan. “West Indies and Pakistan will be threats. I wouldn’t write off Pakistan either. New Zealand have high-class players and you know they will come up with strategies to win games,” said the former cricketer.
When it comes to the great rivals from Down Under, Vaughan wasn’t too enthusiastic about Australia’s chances this time around, especially with the kind of form in which David Warner and Steve Smith had found themselves to be during the IPL 2021 season.
View this post on Instagram
"I’ll say it now, I don’t give Australia much chance. In T20 cricket they’ve struggled. Glenn Maxwell’s exceptional so he will have to have an incredible tournament. But I don’t see the Aussies doing too much. England, India, West Indies, New Zealand, one of those four and maybe Pakistan because of the conditions,” Vaughan said.
India defeated England by 7 wickets and an over to spare during their warm-up match which took place at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai on Monday.
