India’s latest ‘national crush’ Rashmika Mandana and Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal came together for a new advertisement for an underwear brand.
The TVC shows Rashmika Mandana as a Yoga trainer and Vicky as her student.
However, some people are claiming that the advertisement is glorifying her ogling at the strap of the underwear he is wearing and the waistband is visible (since it is a commercial for an underwear brand).
Some folks on social media, especially fans of Rashmika and Vicky, seem to be questioning the morality and the message behind the idea of the script, which is being called out for being 'distasteful'.
National crush of India Rashmika mandana with Vicky Kaushal in adv of Amul Macho.
Now don't ask about the moral values, ethics, principles, etiquettes and upbringing, its all about money #woke_feminism #comouflage
— Suhani (@3_suhani) September 28, 2021dear @iamRashmika i saw your ad #machosporto and its realy disappointed me, i never expected this from you , you can't do this bcs you are a national crush and heart of millions, sorry if i said any wrong thing..
keep smiling and be happy
— राaहुल Chugh (@IMRahullchugh) September 19, 2021Others are clearly uncomfortable and are asking if the genders were reversed, would a similar kind of behaviour be acceptable to society?
Just saw a disgusting Ad of #MachobySporto. #RashmikaMandanna ogling at #VickyKaushal 's underwear and slowing the count during Yoga Session, imagine the genders reversed .
— Sanatani Nationalist (@sanatanitweets) September 25, 2021
Also, a lot of men are calling out the advertisement for objectifying and actually advocating the sexual harassment of men.
Imagine the same ad if a man forcing a women to bend and stretch to have a glimpse of her undergarment brand in a public place like gym. Would it not be termed as #sexsualharassment by our #pseudo #feminist and an outrage would have created.
I condemn this ad #MachoSporto
— Chandan Saamant (@chandan_samant) September 27, 2021 #Amulmacho #Machosporto yeh toh bada toing nahi hai. Yeh toh bada #sexualharassment of men hai.
Highly condemnable and objectionable ad
— Vaastav Veer (@VaastavVeer) September 27, 2021 The makers of the advertisement or the actors have not made any comments around this controversy till now.
Rashmika Mandana was in the news yesterday for her Srivalli look from her upcoming Telugu movie Pushpa opposite Allu Arjun.
She will also be making her Bollywood debut opposite Sidharth Malhotra in Mission Majnu. The movie is based on an untold story of India’s daring RAW mission in Pakistan.
Vicky Kaushal was previously in the news for his rumoured ‘roka’ with Katrina Kaif and today, he’s been trending for the trailer of his next film on Udham Singh.

Sidharth Malhotra’s Shershaah has been well received by both the audience and critics but now, the makers might land in legal trouble. A Kashmiri Journalist Faraz Ashraf is taking Bollywood’s Dharma Productions to court as he claims the film company has put his life in danger by using his vehicle’s number plate on a car depicted as that of “terrorists” in the movie.
Ashraf tweeted, “Since inception Bollywood has only produced propaganda movies against Kashmir, where till now they were showing Kashmiris collectively as terrorists but this time they have gone too far in attacking me and my family.”
© Twitter
He also shared the picture of the real car and the car used in the movie. He wrote, “In the movie, "Shershah" produced by @DharmaMovies @karanjohar have used my personal car registration number on the car which is being used by militants in the movie. @OmarAbdullah @AakashHassan @AzaanJavaid @Gaamuk.” Both vehicles feature the same license plate number.
© Twitter
He further added that an advocate will be handling the case and they will be holding a press conference on the matter soon. “Advocate @shamsubaid15 will be legally handling this case. It’s a request to media friends to highlight this issue. We will soon address a press conference also,” his tweet read.
© Twitter
He also mentioned that he feels unsafe in traveling in that car as people might take him in a negative light. He also said that he will take legal action against the production house and would urge the court to stop the broadcast of the movie Shershaah in the entire country.
He wrote, “It is a threat to me and my family. I cannot travel in the car as feel safety concerns now due to the move. I have not given any permission to any production house to use the regd no. of my car. I now decided to fight against the @DharmaMovies @DharmaTwoPointO to stop the broadcast of the movie in the entire country. As they have copied my car regd no. and used it in the movie. I am filing a case against the production house.”

Well, this might have been a creative decision taken by the makers but this is not the first time that Bollywood directors have taken such liberty in using private details of a person without their permission.
In 2019, a similar case happened when the makers of Arjun Patiala used a Delhi-based number for Sunny Leone in one of the scenes in the movie. A Delhi resident named Puneet Agarwal went through some tough days because he was flooded with calls from unknown people.
"I demand action against the makers of the movie for using my number without permission. It has caused me harassment as many of the callers are using offensive language. I am getting calls from ISD numbers,” Mr. Agarwal had said.
What do you have to say about these creative liberties? Let us know in the comments section below.

Ranu Mondal’s rise to fame over two years ago was nothing short of serendipity.
After her video of singing Ek Pyaar Ka Nagma Hai at a railway station in Kolkatta went viral on the internet, she found a lot of support online when people urged music producers to give her a well-deserved break.
Things got big for her when Himesh Reshammiya gave her a big break and after her debut song became a hit, she started appearing on a few reality shows as well.
However, fame cannot be handled by all.
While she was getting a lot of support for her singing skills, several videos of her not being friendly with fans also started doing the rounds and she was dismissed for her poor PR skills.
Suddenly, Ranu Mondal is trending all over again but this time, it’s not for a new single, but she sang a cover of the current viral hit Manike Mage Hithe, a Sri Lankan song that has taken the internet by storm.
Ranu Mondal’s cover, however, did not get the kind of love she probably thought it will get. Rather, people started making comments about her ruining this song and some even blamed Himesh Reshammiya for this.
Even on Twitter, people questioned why she attempted to sing a song in a different language.
Others discussed how some people who get overnight fame are unable to handle and process it well.

As much as we like to cling to the person we love and be smothered with love and pampering, all of us need some ‘me time’ once in a while.
However, when you are in a relationship, it’s particularly hard to squeeze out minutes for yourself without coming across as selfish or unavailable.
Some people need more space than others and things get really confusing if it’s not communicated properly.
© iStock
If you are dating someone who is really bad at expressing themselves and finds it difficult to ask for things like ‘space’, you would find yourself wondering if they are acting cold because they need some time off or you are just drifting apart, especially in a long-distance relationship.
The chances are they just want some alone time when you could be thinking about the worst.
© iStock
While the best thing is to talk it out and straight up ask them, here are some subtle signs that your partner wants to chill by themselves and needs space but is not telling you so.
1. They Respond To Your Texts Late © iStock
If your girlfriend, who generally takes seconds to reply to your texts, doesn’t see the message for hours and replies when it is convenient to her, it means she is just having the time to herself.
However, the important thing to notice is that whenever she replies, she talks to you like she normally does, lovingly that is.
2. They Dodge Long Phone Calls © iStock
If your hours-long late-night calls have been reduced significantly in the past few days, it is a sign they want some time to probably catch up on their sleep, do skincare or simply complete the web series or book they started but never finished.
3. They Don’t Include You In All Their Plans © iStock
They do like to hang out with you but if they make weekend plans with their friends or family and don’t enthusiastically invite you, they might need some time off from the romantic dates and might want to spend some time with their people.
There’s nothing wrong with it and the best you can do in this case is tell her to have fun and be happy for her.
4. They Don’t Share Every Detail With You © iStock
They would involve you less in their life not just physically but also emotionally.
If they realise they need some space, they won’t like to fill in with details of their day and neither would they be interested in asking about yours.
This may also feel like they are being emotionally unavailable but if they are still there for you if you are sad, feeling low or need their advice on something, it’s just space they need from oversharing for a while.
5. They Make Excuses To Not Keep In Touch © iStock
Telling you they are busy with work, running errands and feeling too tired or sleepy when it’s time you generally talk, they are probably finding it hard to tell it to your face that they need some space.
They might think that they would hurt your feelings by demanding space and hence, they would use excuses to keep away.
Our two cents: talk to them if that’s the case and give her the space she deserves.

In just over two weeks from now, Team India will go up against the world’s best in the 2021 T20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates. Ahead of this tournament, skipper Virat Kohli shocked the whole world by announcing that he would be stepping down from his role in the shortest format after this tournament.
Since then, speculations are rife as to who will take over his place in the format once the tournament draws curtains on November 14. Fans and experts strongly believe that Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma is the front-runner to fill in Kohli’s boots.
© Reuters
Amidst all this, batting legend Sunil Gavaskar has sparked a controversy by suggesting that selectors shouldn’t wait for the tournament to end and hand Rohit the T20I captaincy straight away.
Speaking on a TV show, the former India opener opined that if it were to him, he would have removed Kohli from his post and handed over the captaincy to Rohit straight away even before the upcoming T20 World Cup.
© Reuters
With back-to-back T20 World Cups lined up in the next two years, the ‘Little Master’ argued that it would have helped the team go into the tournament with a clear head and given Rohit more time to get a hang of things.
“I think Rohit Sharma for the next two World Cups. You could say they (World Cups) are back-to-back, one starting in a month and another exactly a year from now. So, clearly, yes, you don't want to change too many captains at this particular stage.
Rohit Sharma would definitely be my choice for the captaincy of the Indian team for both these T20 World Cups,” Gavaskar said on the Star Sports show ‘Cricket Connected’.
Kohli fans who were still recovering from the heartbreak of Kohi’s shocking announcement didn’t like Gavaskar’s suggestion and blamed him for siding with Rohit because of his connection with Mumbai.
Of course he does, Mumbai lobby wants Mumbai folks everywhere, from comm box to the ground and even on the bench!
— Common Sense Investing (@notsocommonEQ) September 29, 2021Not just rohit.. Gavaskar would prefer any random mumbai player over virat kohli
I remember how he elevated rohit sharma is better than virat talking about six hitting abilities
— King Kohli (@WhiteDevil18_) September 29, 2021Mumbai lobby
— SAI SANTHOSH (@im__Sai18) September 30, 2021Gavaskar is going on injecting poison everywhere? He has also brought up suggestion that Rohit should captain this and next t20 world cup. He is stirring up controversy. Expected better from him.
— Just4Cricket (@GodLightTruth) September 30, 2021Tell him to relax, Kohli isn't going anywhere before the World cup.
— Roshan Rai (@ItsRoshanRai) September 29, 2021What a motivational talk by our former legend just before WCT20
— Anshul khandal (@Anshulkhandal03) September 29, 2021Gaveskar had never supported Kohli and this statement would be related to that....
— Rakesh panda (@Rakeshp25918879) September 29, 2021Being mumbaikar u have all rights to say Rohit should be captain
— Anil Jain (@imAnilJain1989) September 30, 2021 The reason why Kohli decided to captain the side in this year’s mega-event was that there was not much time left in the competition and he wanted to give the successor enough time going into the major tournament next year in Australia.
There’s no doubt, Rohit has proven his calibre leading Mumbai Indians to five IPl titles but leading a franchise and captaining an international team is a different ball game altogether.
© Reuters
By suggesting Kohli should be stripped of T20 captaincy with just over two weeks left in the tournament, Gavaskar has courted an unnecessary controversy that should’ve been avoided.

The movie starts with an introduction of Ram’s (Shah Rukh Khan) character as an Indian Army Major who is working alongside his father, Brigadier Shekhar Sharma (Naseeruddin Shah) towards organising a ‘Mission Milap’ in order to de-escalate the tension between two nations - India and Pakistan.
© Red Chillies Entertainment
Considering it was an important mission, what with the Army being involved and all, they had rather questionable security, one which was overruled by a former and now rogue Indian special forces soldier Raghavan (Sunil Shetty) pretty damn easily.
© Red Chillies Entertainment
Ram’s father Brigadier Shekhar Sharma takes a fatal hit during the attack and dies, but not before telling Ram about his step mother and brother, who were estranged from his father all these years..while also casually tossing the fact that it was Ram in fact, who was the bastard son.
© Red Chillies Entertainment
Before dying, he takes a promise from Ram to unite with his family. Meanwhile, Gen. Amarjeet Bakshi, who is Ram’s superior, sends him on a mission NOT relating to national security but his own family mess.
© Red Chillies Entertainment
Ram is sent to a college as an undercover agent to protect General’s daughter Sanjana (Amrita Rao) while also attempting to get close to his step brother Laxman (Zayed Khan) who is as useless as logic was in this film.
via GIPHY
After failed attempts of befriending Sanjana, who btw is head over heels in love with Laxman (and he is not because Sanju dresses like a tomboy and Bollywood only reserves love for women after they ditch it for a miniskirt/saree), what actually breaks the ice for them is Ram saving Laxman’s stupid ass from falling off the roof of the college.
© Red Chillies Entertainment
Ram then gaslights and emotionally blackmails his way to Laxman’s house as a house guest for the rest of the term in college rent free.
via GIPHY
All this while, back at the college we are introduced to every version of professor possible in Farah Khan’s fantasy world, from one who simply knits sweaters, to another who specializes in spitting and, of course, one after whom every student lusts over - Chandni (Sushmita Sen).
© Red Chillies Entertainment
Everytime she comes into the frame, winds start blowing and violins start playing as Ram lusts away at her. And just like that, the movie tries to get away with the fact that they’re propagating a rather unhealthy and problematic notion of a teacher-student romance by covering it up with songs and Sushmita’s backless blouses.
via GIPHY
And that’s not all, the movie then hits us with yet another problematic and stereotypical notion after Ram guilts Sanjana to go for a makeover if she really wants to make Laxman fall for her.
After all, if he remembered anything from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, it was that a woman becomes instantly desirable once she ditches boy-clothes and shows up in sanskaari Indian wear.
© Red Chillies Entertainment
And so, Chandni gives her a makeover and magically turns her two shades fairer somehow because is it even a Bollywood movie if subtle and implicit digs on dusky skin tone aren’t made? Enter - cinematic male gaze.
© Red Chillies Entertainment
Laxman gets attracted like a moth to a flame but Sanju asks him to f**k right off, because she deserves better. Meanwhile, Ram is busy pursuing Chandni and his enemy Raghavan joins the college as the new professor.
© Red Chillies Entertainment
He tries to kidnap Chandni but gets busted by Ram, cheap-matrix style. Brownie points and a whole lotta frisky for Major Ram that night!
© Red Chillies Entertainment
The climax of the film commences when Raghavan tells Laxman and his mom about him being his step-brother. The mother and son, feeling hurt and betrayed, ask Ram to leave (although, good for him, they didn’t ask for rent). As Ram is getting ready to leave no less than a bride during bidaai, Raghavan attacks the university and takes everyone hostage.
© Red Chillies Entertainment
After a LOT of dramatic action sequences later, Ram and Raghavan come face to face, fighting endlessly on the roof of the college. Ram tries to reason with him and explain to him how ‘Mission Milap’ should go through because Indians and Pakistanis can be bhai-bhai, but Raghavan is far from listening.
© Red Chillies Entertainment
Hell bent on seeking revenge for his own son who got killed in a cross-fire, he keeps fighting Ram until Ram finally escapes on a helicopter with the help of his brother Laxman and blows up the damn university.
© Red Chillies Entertainment
Ram and Laxman reconcile and Laxman’s mother finally accepts Ram, because he is goddamn Major and who wants a man like him as an enemy, right? The family immerse their father’s ashes together, as requested, Mission Milap is a hit and both brothers finally graduate.
All’s well that ends well, except for Sanju who makes a terrible choice of going back to Laxman, that misogynistic prick.
The End.

The iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max are the next iterations of smartphones by Apple that pack a punch and offer everything you need in a smartphone. While neither of the 13 Pro smartphones reinvents the wheel of smartphones, it does it better than anybody else. The successor to the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max may not seem much of a big deal on paper, but the changes Apple has made under the hood make all the difference. Apart from unbeatable performance, Apple has introduced new features such as the ProMotion Super Retina XDR display and new camera features that take the photography game of the iPhone 13 Pro to the next level. Here’s what I think about the 13 Pro and 13 Pro max after using them for a week:
iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max Design and Display © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
Apart from having a slightly larger camera bump and a thicker body design, Apple has opted to use the same squared-off design of the iPhone 12 series. I loved the design on the last iPhone and I love it on the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max series as well. The phone has a glossy stainless steel frame that gives it a very premium look, much like its predecessor. The display size on both the 13 Pro and Pro Max remain the same i.e. 6.1-inch (iPhone 13 Pro) and 6.7-inch (iPhone 13 Pro Max). However, this time around the front-camera array that houses the Face ID has been reduced in size. While the size of the notch has been reduced, it still interferes with the overall experience especially since many apps have not adjusted to the extra space around the smaller notch.
© MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
This time around, the iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max comes in Sierra Blue, Gold, Graphite, and Silver where I particularly fell in love with the blue colour. It’s not as bright or gaudy as other smartphones you may have seen and instead uses a very subtle tone that’s very classy in my opinion.
© MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
Apart from the obvious design influence from the iPhone 12 series, the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max also come with other features such as MagSafe magnets, IP64 water resistance and a Ceramic Shield coating. When taking all of the design aesthetics and features into account, both phones feel as if you’re holding a luxury product in your hand.
© MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
When it comes to the display, Apple has finally brought its ProMotion technology to the iPhone from the iPad Pro lineup. The ProMotion Super Retina XDR displays on both the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max are amongst the best we’ve seen yet. Both displays have the ability to push frames up to 120Hz which you can also turn off if needed from the accessibility menu. Much like the iPad Pro and previous Samsung smartphones, the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max can also adjust the refresh according to what you are doing. The iPhone 13 Pro automatically detects when you’re consuming content that requires a higher or lower refresh rate. By utilising this method, the iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max is able to conserve as much battery life as possible.
© Unsplash/jeremy-bezanger
As for the quality of the display, Apple has always been at the forefront of calibrating displays for the best experience and the case remains the same here. The OLED panel used in the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max is sharp, vibrant and supports HDR/Dolby Vision content. Both phones have one of the best quality panels I’ve ever seen on a smartphone and are ideal for all sorts of activities. However, if you like to play games, watch movies and just prefer a larger canvas, the iPhone 13 Pro Max should be your only choice here.
iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max Cameras © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
The iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max’s camera prowess may have sounded like jargon to you during the launch event but after using them, I have to say that the revamp is unparalleled. This time, all three sensors have sensor-shift optical image stabilisation which makes a lot of difference in capturing both photos and videos. The ultra-wide sensor is by far the most fun to use as it is the most versatile sensor out of the three. The ultra-wide camera is capable of capturing photos of both landscapes and minute details of a flower from the same lens.
© MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
As for the main wide sensor, there is a noticeable difference in image quality in terms of capturing detail and colour balance. However, this time around, Apple also gives you the option to pick your photographic style from a few set profiles. You can use the default profile or switch to another style such as rich contrast, warm, cool and vibrant. I prefer using the Vibrant setting as it tends to capture images that look more social media worthy, especially if you like to capture moments in the golden hour.
The iPhone 13 Series now also has a new cinematic mode where it somewhat turns the phone’s video capturing capabilities closer to professional video capture cameras. In this mode, the camera can automatically change focus from subject to subject either in the foreground or the background. If you’re not happy with Apple’s solution, you can even manually shift focus between subjects in post.
© MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
ProRes video is yet another new feature that videographers might be interested in. It effectively lets users capture videos in true 4K format with outstanding quality. Think of it as if you’re capturing lossless video footage or a RAW image which you can use in professional software like Premiere Pro and Final Cut.
Here are some samples captures using the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max, using all of its sensors and cinematic mode:
iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max Performance and Battery LifeAll of the camera capabilities I’ve mentioned above wouldn’t have been possible without the new A15 Bionic chipset. Now, every year I say that Apple makes the most powerful chipset for smartphones and I’m happy to let you know the case remains the same this year as well. While the chipset is still 5nm in size, it packs a lot more transistors that make it even more efficient than last year’s A14 Bionic. I was shocked to see how efficient the chipset was during my usage as I never saw any form of battery drain or throttling ever since I started using it.
© MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
Both models were able to effortlessly multitask between 20 or more apps, edit videos/photos and run graphic-intensive games without being affected in a drastic way. On the iPhone 13 Pro, I could easily run it throughout the day with my daily workflow and still have 20% battery left towards the end of the day. On the iPhone 13 Pro Max, the case is entirely different as the phone runs even longer than that. The battery performance on both phones is outstanding where the larger Pro Max was a clear standout even amongst phones that boast 5,000 mAh batteries.
© MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
As for benchmarks, the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max blow the competition out of the water. In Geekbench 5, the iPhone 13 Pro Max scored 1729 (single-core) and 4661 (multi-core) that exceeds any smartphone that has launched in 2021. Qualcomm and other competitors are still playing catch up with Apple’s silicon from last year so this was expected. In 3DMark Slingshot Unlimited, the iPhone 13 Pro scored 8,919 while the Pro Max scored 8,845. In 3DMark’s WildLife unlimited test, both phones registered an average frame rate of 68.7 FPS.
The Final Say The iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max are the pinnacles of smartphone advancement where both phones are capable of delivering exemplary performance in almost every department. The iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max are two phones that set a benchmark for smartphone design and display technology that I expect many others to imitate. However, if you want the best photography, gaming and display experience from a smartphone right now, nothing beats either the iPhone 13 Pro and the 13 Pro Max.

2020 was a tough year for actress Rhea Chakraborty. Post the untimely demise of her partner Sushant Singh Rajput, Rhea and her family had to endure some excruciatingly painful emotional and turbulent times.
To top it up , her name was dragged in a drug racket and she was subjected to a brutal, unwanted public trial on social media by the public.
While no one deserves a horrendous amount of emotional pain like this, the actress is proving that she is harder and stronger than any challenge that life has thrown her way and is slowly picking up the pieces of her life.
She is currently in talks with various producers and directors and is soon resuming work as well.

With India’s biggest reality show Bigg Boss soon coming back to hog all the attention on TV, it is that time of the year when speculations around who is participating and what to expect starts building up.
As per various sources, Rhea was also offered to appear and participate on the show with an offer to be paid Rs 35 lakhs per week, which would have made her the highest paid contestant in the history of the show.
While it was expected that she will surely appear and maybe open up about life post Sushant and share other anecdotes from her personal life, a new report has confirmed that Rhea has apparently turned down this offer.

Before this, when late actor Sidharth Shukla appeared as a guest on the last season for two weeks, he was reportedly paid around Rs 30 Lakhs.
