At 23, most of us are either finishing the last couple years of education doing post-graduation or are a few years into a new job.Β
Some are still figuring out what they want to do in life. Well, others who are made from a completely different mould make it to the richest individuals list by this young age. Case in point, Shashvat Nakrani.

IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich List 2021 was released recently and the one person that grabbed our eyes was the co-founder of BharatPe, Shashvat Nakrani.Β

He is named the 'youngest richest self-made' individual on the list. At 22, he was also the youngest co-founder in the Fintech space in India.

Most of the world's richest entrepreneurs and billionaires including Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates are college dropoutsΒ and Nakrani is no exception.Β

He is an IIT Delhi dropout who left college in 2018 to found the UPI payment service provider, BharatPe along with Ashneer Grover and Bhavik Koladiya.Β

He joined IIT-D in 2015 and was studying textile technology before dropping out in 2018. In the third year of college, he realised there was no payment gateway for merchants that did not cut into their margins.Β

He went on to establish his own company which bridged this gap by the Unified Payments Interface’s (UPI) star feature - interoperability. It allowed merchants to use a single QR code to make transactions for all payment apps which was not available until then.Β

Shashvat has been the Group Product Head in the company.Β

Shashvat is now among the 1,007 individuals and stands as the youngest self-made founderΒ in the list.Β

There are 13 individuals on the rich list who are born after the 1990s and they all are self-made. The number one position has been held by the Chairman and MD of Reliance Industries, Mukesh Ambani, for the 10th consecutive year now.Β Β

The trailer ofΒ Vicky Kaushal’s much-awaited filmΒ Sardar UdhamΒ , based on the life of the freedom fighter Udham Singh, has been well-appreciated by the viewers and people are really looking forward to watching it. The trailer has piqued the curiosity of the viewers as it has shown enough withoutΒ revealing much about the character. It will be interesting to see how Sardar Udham Singh contributed to the freedom struggle.
View this post on InstagramAs we all know that Vicky gives his blood and sweat to his characters, and this film is no exception as he looks very convincing on the screen asΒ Udham Singh. At the trailer launch, he revealed that he had got 13 stitches on his face due to an injury before he started shooting for the film. There were rumours that Vicky was injured onΒ Sardar Udham’sΒ set. The actor has now clarified that he was actually injured during another shoot and that's why he is sporting the scar in the film.
Here’s the first look where you can spot those stitches:
View this post on InstagramHe said, β€œI did not get injured on this film. I got injured on another film, which was four days before we could start shooting forΒ Sardar Udham. I had 13 stitches on my cheek. The first picture that I sent was to Shoojit da and he said, β€˜Don’t worry, you come with the stitches, Sardar Udham Singh will have stitches’.”
Vicky went on to add, β€œSo, the scar that you see on my face as Sardar Udham Singh is a real scar. There are many different looks in the film. As you saw in the trailer, he kept changing his identity and his passports to reach London. I had to lose and gain weight several times for Sardar Udham Singh. I had to look 19 to 40 convincingly too.”

Vicky also said how the stories about the Jallianwala Bagh massacre made him relate to his character at a deeper level. He said, β€œJallianwala Bagh massacre hit home in the most brutal way. A person who promised to avenge that bloodshed, not in India but in the heart of the British empire. For me, it is a story of resilience, bravery, patience, and a passionate person.”
Talking about challenges in playing Sardar Udham Singh, he said, β€œThrough this film, I wanted to explore that factor in me also. It’s not the easiest role to touch. It’s also a character that isn’t widely documented in our history books.”
    View this post on Instagram

He added, β€œIf you go about reading books on him or the Jallianwala Bagh episode or even the Indian freedom struggle, you’ll find different stories about the same person. You’ll find different names, identities, and faces. How do you tap into what was at the core of the person?”
Well, the trailer has got us excited and we are looking forward to watching it on Amazon Prime Video on October 16. What about you?Β Β

Shah Rukh Khan recently claimed that his most prized possession is worth Rs 200 crore. Yes, you read that right!

Now, for people wondering what is it- we are talking about his plush sea-view mansion, Mannat, which is located at Mumbai’s Bandstand.Β
SRK once expressed that he always wanted to buy a bungalow for himself and his wife Gauri Khan and that this was his biggest dream.Β
In 2001, SRK bought the bungalow and it cost him around Rs 13 crores and today the same house is valued at Rs 200 crore.Β
    View this post on Instagram
On a radio show, SRK expressed that Mannat was his 'most expensive possession' to date and he also revealed the reason behind buying the house, which was basically to impress his mother-in-law.Β

When SRK first came to Mumbai, he wasn’t amongst the wealthiest actors in the initial stage of his career. He lived in a small apartment and that would upset his mother-in-law and that’s when he decided to buy Mannat, without knowing that it will become one of the biggest landmarks of Mumbai.
    View this post on Instagram
SRK said, "I am from Delhi and Delhiites have the concept of living in a kothi (bungalow). In Mumbai, the concept is to live in apartments, but in Delhi, even if one is not well off, they still own a small bungalow. When I came to Mumbai, I was already married and was living in a small apartment with my wife Gauri. My mother-in-law would keep saying, 'You live in such a small house.' Eventually, when I saw Mannat, it felt like Delhi wala Kothi and so, I bought it and that was the most expensive thing I bought.”

Now, SRK is one of the richest actors across the globe and is also called the King Khan of Bollywood. Clearly, good things come to those who wait...and who work hard for it.

After three straight losses, defending champions Mumbai IndiansΒ might have returned to its winning ways in their previous match but their worries are far from over.
Chasing a modest target of 136 against Punjab Kings in Abu Dhabi, Rohit Sharma’s men left it a little too late but, eventually, overhauled the total with six balls to spare, thanks to an unbeaten 45-run partnership between their two pinch-hitters Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya.
Kieron Pollard. Hardik Pandya. And Mumbai Indians pulling off a stunning run chase!

How often have you heard this?

40 runs were needed off the last four overs, and they've chased it down with one entire over to spare .. https://t.co/sSdhZBzPec #IPL2021 #MIvPBKS pic.twitter.com/OQctl6sAu0
    β€” Cricbuzz (@cricbuzz) September 28, 2021
The win helped the record IPL champions crawl out of the bottom two on the points table but their performance didn’t convince many people.

Their biggest worry has been their two out-of-form batters Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan who have failed miserably, so far.Β
The fact that Kishan was dropped from the playing XI against PBKS was a clear indication that the franchise wanted to give someone else the opportunity to make an impact.
    Β© Twitter/Mumbai Indians
Saurabh Tiwary, who replaced Kishan in the side, played a match-defining knock, hitting 45 off 37 balls and all but secured his place in the starting line-up in the upcoming games.Β

After being dropped from the Mumbai-based franchise, the questions are now being raised as to whether he would be able to retain his spot in India’s T20 World Cup squad.
    Β© Twitter/Aakash Chopra
Former India opener Aakash Chopra believes that it’s hard to argue for the MI wicket-keeper because if a player can’t make it to his franchise’s starting XI, then his place in Team India is bound to come under scrutiny.

Looking at Kishan’s current form, Chopra feels the selectors will definitely make one change to the squad. Delhi Capitals’ Shreyas Iyer, who has made a great comeback in the second leg of IPL 2021, will be drafted into the main squad, with the axe falling on Kishan.

β€œI am looking at Ishan Kishan's form, I mean, the guy isn't even on Mumbai's team. When you are not in Mumbai's XI can you be in India's 15? That's a big question. Suryakumar Yadav, as much as I love him, the fact is his form has vanished and lost. He looks like a shadow of himself. Then I think of Hardik Pandya, who hasn't bowled. The selectors said they picked 3 fast-bowlers because Hardik had promised to bowl but he isn't,” Chopra said on his YouTube channel.Β
    Β© Twitter/BCCI
β€œBut are there changes in the offing? I think yes, one change is almost confirmed - I feel Shreyas Iyer will come back to the team and one player will have to leave. One more player is under pressure too.Β

β€œWill you now look at Sanju Samson? I am not saying they should, I am just saying what might happen... I am looking at Shreyas Iyer, Sanju Samson, Deepak Chahar and Shardul Thakur. There might not be three or four changes, but I won't be surprised with two changes,” he added.Β
    Β© Reuters
Kishan’s situation is like a double-edged sword. If the selectors make a last-ditch change and bring in an in-form batter, critics would argue why he was picked in the first place. And if the selectors ignore his poor form and persist with him, the questions would be asked if he failed to deliver at the event.Β

That said, with Kishan and Suryakumar both struggling for runs in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021), including Iyer in the 15-member squad seems like a wise choice because he is a proven match-winner and can bat anywhere in the middle-order.Β Β
    Β© Reuters
The selectors have until October 10 to make any changes to the 15-member squadΒ and it will be interesting to see if they replace the out-of-form players or persist with the ones who are already there.

If they take the IPL form too seriously, then we shouldn’t be surprised if they make wholesome changes to the initial squad.
