Ever got stabbed in the back by your closest friend, ‘blood relative’ or girlfriend? If not, you’ve grown up watching Bollywood movies and probably learnt from the ‘betrayed’ lot who were mercilessly fooled or conned by the ‘shaatir’ backstabbers.

    © Venus Movies
Some brilliantly genius characters have pulled off the biggest and most brutal betrayals in movies (you could hear the evil laugh if you listen closely). They left us with the lesson that you shouldn’t trust anyone, as we watched them ‘chitting’ their loved ones.

    © DMS Films Private Limited
Here are some of the worst (or should we say best) masterminds, cheaters and ‘gaddars’ who left us wide-eyed, yelling at the screen dhokaaa!

Presenting, 5 Grade-A ‘dhokebaaz’ of all times:
    1. Vikram & Neeta/Sonia In Ajnabee © Film Folks
We all thought (us, Kareena and Bobby) that poor Bipasha died at the hands of her pervert husband who put the blame on his neighbour.

But wait, Bipasha pulled off ‘the Mihir’ (from Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi) and came back from the dead? No, she was never dead. In fact, the neighbours Kareena and Bobby (and us, of course) were betrayed by both of them and sweet-talked into believing that she was his wife.
    Everything was indeed planned.
    2. Sophia In Race © Tips Industries
Although literally everyone in the movie was a big dhokebaaz and the only idiot was the audience to ever believe anyone of them, Sophia was the biggest cheater of all time.

The sweet girl we thought was the secretary and later, the widow of Ronny (Saif) was actually involved in killing him with his brother who she was actually dating.
Can’t believe we fell for her doe eyes and felt bad for her at one point of time.
    3. Karan In ‘Humraaz’ © Venus Movies
Karan is the most evil character to have ever existed. He agrees to murder Priya, his girlfriend who he set up to marry Raj.

He betrays Priya by telling Raj about their affair and tries to kill her and run away with the money. Interesting turn of events though, as he is killed by Raj in the end.
That’s what you get for messing with Lord Bobby.
    4. Mahalakshmi In Khakee © DMS Films Private Limited
The betrayal that would go down in red ink if anyone wrote a book on ‘how you should not trust the woman you love’.

The scene where Aishwarya runs into the arms of Ajay leaving Akshay and the entire audience in shock will forever be etched in our minds.
She even fires the first bullet at him. So much for singing ‘Wada Raha’, Mahalakshmi!
    5. Maya In Bodyguard © Reel Life Productions
Maya was a snake. All this time, she had the front-row ticket of Divya and Lovely’s love story and never did we suspect her to be jealous of them.

Next thing we know, she runs off with Lovely, posing as Chhaya and stabbing her best friend in the back. And, she kept mum about her being the ultimate imposter till her death.
Her betrayal reminded us of the iconic ‘Dushman na kare, dost ne wo kaam kiya hai’ song.

Actor Tillotama Shome, who won plaudits last year for her film Sir, has responded to a hate comment that she received on social media.
Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, she wrote, “A hater on social media called me a ‘flop actress who looks likes a maid’. Now, how is that even mildly insulting, given my situation!?”
View this post on InstagramShe also added the hashtag, ‘Dignity of labour’.
Actor Pooja Bhatt also supported her and wrote in a tweet, “You are a star in the real sense..one whose light will illuminate the world through the work that you have done & the lives you have touched long after you have gone. Haters are akin to ‘dark matter’. They provide the gas & ensure the ones that provide light, remain bound.”

Many of Tillotama Shome’s fans also supported her by saying, “You are an amazing actor. I love how you always bring out the essence of the character with your nuanced performance. I believe people who don't know how to argue usually resort to attacks on someone's appearance.”
Another person agreed, “Ya. She is beautiful and pretty effing hot as well!”
Another user also commented by saying, “This pathetic attempt at the insult just shows one of the many ways caste intersects with class in modern India. Loved the dignity of your character in Sir! Big fan.”
    Tillotama responded saying, “Exactly!”
She was also seen alongside Naseeruddin Shah, Shefali Shah, Lillette Dubey in a supporting role in the Golden Lion-winning film Monsoon Wedding.

Coming in third place after my parents and school teachers, Bollywood has managed to teach me a lot over the years.
From introducing me to the idea of romance to lending me the latest fashion tips when needed and even bestowing great wisdom through iconic characters and dialogues, there is a lot that Bollywood needs to get credit for.
    © iStock
And one other such thing it needs to be given due credit for is for disseminating knowledge, ideas and lessons that are far from being...'wisdomous' (thanks for the awesome word, Joey Tribbiani!). Quite the opposite, in fact.

Thanks to the faulty plotlines, sexist characters and patriarchal perspectives, Bollywood is responsible for giving us a few lessons in the names of popular dialogues by characters that need to be unlearnt ASAP. Here are a few of them:
    1. Raju Singh From 'Mard' © Manmohan Desai Films
    “Mard ko dard nahi hota”

One of the most overused dialogues that has single-handedly perpetuated the wrong idea of manhood in Hindi cinema and society alike.
Thanks to Amitabh Bachchan’s character in the film, men were convinced that holding their pain inside for decades is actually the right way to go in life and is the 'manly' thing to do.
    2. Raja From 'Ishq' © Baba Films
“Duniya main teen cheezon ke peeche kabhi nahi bhagna chahiye - Bus, train aur chokri. Ek gayi, doosri aayegi”

This super hyped dialogue from the hit movie Ishq was, in fact, one of the foulest pieces of advice to be given to men, more so because it reflected a rather cheap and shallow mindset of men towards women.
At this rate and with this advice, no woman would ever come to you.
3 Jeevan From 'Maine Pyaar Kiya' © Rajshri Productions
“Ek ladka aur ek ladki kabhi dost nahi ho sakte”

You would think in a film starring Salman Khan, he would obviously be the problematic one. But, nope.
This time around it was Jeevan who went ahead and pitched the idea that ‘a man and a woman can never be friends’ in the minds of the already orthodox people in our society.
    4. Rahul From 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' © Dharma Productions
“Hum ek baar jeete hain, ek baar marte hain, pyaar bhi ek baar karte hain aur shaadi bhi”

Says the guy who ended up falling in love again and getting married for the second time in his life, some nerve this Rahul had.
Not only do people get endless chances at love but also to perpetuate the idea that marriage should ideally be done only once is rather problematic.
    5. Kabir From 'Kabir Singh' © iStock
“Woh bandi meri hai, oh kudi na chhad ke, saari kudiyaan twadi”

Mind you, this was way before Kabir Singh even had a word with Preeti, yet ended up proclaiming his love for her in the entire class and marking his territory.
Not to mention him offering the rest of the girls to boys as though they were commodities to be distributed. I mean, that is so NOT the way to go about it!
    6. Station Master From 'Jab We Met' © Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Limited
“Akeli ladki ek khuli tijori ki tarah hoti hai”

Thanks, but no thanks for this unnecessary and problematic gyaan, but neither Geet from the movie nor do we need to hear or remember any such bullshit advice from the movies.
How about you place a lock on your mouth instead?
    7. Radhe From 'Wanted' © BSK Entertainment
“Ladki ke peeche bhaagega, toh ladki paise ke peeche bhaagegi. Paise ke peeche bhaagega toh ladki tere peeche bhaagegi”

In one swish dialogue, Salman Khan, in the role of Radhe, was able to insinuate that apparently, all women are gold diggers, who will inevitably run after money.
Because according to Bollywood standards, that's how shallow women are.

The human body is a complex machine. With so many organs, muscles, nerves all functioning as though with a mind of their own, for a layman like us, it can get pretty tedious to judge whether or not it is working fine. Especially for ones who are sexually active.
    © iStock
Our body reacts to everything we indulge in, whether it is food, drinks, conversation or even ***. And so, as a result, sometimes, it could have an impact on us that might be getting by our eyes from right under our noses.

I am talking about a few signs concerning sexual health  that can be easy to miss, but should always be kept an eye out for. Here are some of the common ones:
    1. Lumps Near Your Genitals © iStock
It is important to check the area around your scrotum for any in-growth or formation of a lump around the area.

Since the area surrounding the genitals is anyway sensitive, lumps can sometimes arise due to ingrown hair, but it could also be a sign for genital warts or an infection.
    2. Discharge © iStock
If and when you see your ***** or your rectum letting an unusual discharge out of your body, it is a sign that something might be up with your sexual health.

A green or yellow discharge could hint at gonorrhoea, while a white discharge could mean trichomoniasis and if the discharge is white but odourless and thick then that could mean you have a yeast infection.
    3. Burning Sensation While Peeing © iStock
Another telling hint that you might be experiencing a sexual health concern is when you feel a burning sensation while you pee.

Usually indicative of a UTI, this is not something major to worry about but nonetheless, should not be taken lightly. It could also mean the presence of an STD like chlamydia, gonorrhoea, etc.
    4. Eye Infection/Irritation © iStock
A lesser-known fact about STDs is that it can also be transmitted through oral *** and one way of that happening is when semen or vaginal fluid can enter the eye and cause an infection.

Hence, it is best to get that checked immediately and use a condom the next time around!
    5. Pain Near The Genitals © iStock
Pain, anywhere in the body, is a sign of distress and must be paid attention to. Especially when it happens near the genitals or the abdomen, which could mean that something is wrong.

For instance, swelling of testicles, bleeding or even pain during *** are all signs that your body might be experiencing an STD or an infection.

On Wednesday, Hrithik Roshan enjoyed a late breakfast and was delighted that he'd started the day with his mother, Pinkie Roshan. He shared a happy picture with his mother on social media and asked his fans and followers to give their moms a tight hug.
“On a lazy breakfast date with my mum. It’s a good morning. Sunday feels on Wednesday are best. Now go give your mom a hug,” he captioned his post.
    Here’s the post:

While his only intention was to spread love and positivity through his post, Hrithik had no idea that the wall behind him in the picture would become a talking point for his followers. People started to troll him saying that he had invested so much on his phone but didn’t bother to invest in a good paint for the wall. A few people were glad to see that he also has ‘middle-class’ problems.
Here’s how people reacted to his post:

A user commented on his Instagram post, "Gaur se dekhie Hrithik Roshan ke ghar mein silan.” To which, the actor replied with honesty and said that he stays in rented accommodation for now and wil soonl be buying his own house. "Filhaal ghar bhi rent par hai. Apna ghar le raha hu bahut jald (Right now even the house is on rent, I am buying my own house soon)", replied Hrithik.

Well, the actor reportedly has invested around Rs 100 crores in his new property. He bought two majestic apartments on the Juhu-Versova Link Road that offers a wide expansive view of the Arabian Sea. Apparently, there are rumours that these flats will be merged into one and designed as a sky villa.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the apartment offers an unrestricted view of the Arabian Sea and is spread across a combined 38000 sq ft. There is a 6500 sq ft terrace, and the family will have access to 10 parking spots. Hrithik paid Rs 67.5 crore for the duplex, which is spread across 27534 sq ft, and Rs 30 crore for the 14th-floor apartment, spread across 11165 sq ft.
The report also suggested that the Roshans had rented an apartment in Juhu in June 2020, and are paying Rs 8.25 lakh per month for the property.
On the professional front, the actor is now gearing up for the fourth installment of the Krrish franchise.

Actor Anupam Kher is currently in New York and visited an Apple Store in the city that left him disappointed. He visited the store to find out that there wasn’t an Apple Watch that represented India in the International Olympic Collection watches at the store.
    © Intagram_Anupam Kher
Apple launched the ‘International Collection’ earlier this year “to celebrate the indescribable drive and competitive spirit of all athletes and fans.” Notably, the Cupertino giant launched Apple Watch bands representing countries such as Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, and the US. What’s odd is that India was left out of the collection and it seems like it caught Anupam Kher’s attention.

The actor shared a video from the Apple Store in New York tweeting “Dear @Apple! Visited your store on 5th ave in NY! Impressive! There were watches of International Olympic collection representing flags of various countries! Was disappointed not to see INDIA’s watch there? I wonder why? We are one of the largest consumers of #Apple products!”
Anupam Kher is currently in New York shooting for the movie Shiv Shastri Balboa. As far as we know, Apple has not said why India was left out of the collection, however many of his followers gave reasons as to why India was ignored.

“Sorry to disappoint you. But Apple products are not sold enough in India. Apple develops products for volume sales. Can't make an exception for a particular market as it doesn't fit into Apple's business model” a user replied.
    © Twitter_Anupam Kher
However, it’s worth pointing out that volume sales may not be the factor behind excluding India from the collection. “It implies that countries like Jamaica and France generate more revenue than India for Apple. It's surprising considering we are 120 crores and easily 5 to 6 % of our population would be using some sort of apple product” a user pointed.

Do you think Apple should release a strap representing India as a part of the International Olympic Collection? Let us know in the comments if you agree with Anupam Kher.
