    Kangana Ranaut has been a part of several controversies. But the actress takes everything in her stride and leaves no stone unturned when she wants to take a jab at someone. She has always taken a stand for herself but has often been caught on the wrong side too. 
    Kangana was also banned from Twitter, after which the actress decided to express her views on Instagram.

    She recently shared a throwback picture on her Instagram story and unveiled that she had essayed Sita's character in her childhood. 

    She is seen wearing a red saree and is making the gesture of blessing in the photo. She is also seen wearing flowers in her hair. 
    There's also another girl on her side dressed as a saint. She wrote, "I also played Sita as a child when I was 12 years old in a school. Ha ha..Sita Ramchandra Ki Jai. "
    The reason this throwback picture is significant is because, Kangana will essay the lead role of Sita for the upcoming film The Incarnation Sita, helmed by Alaukik Desai.  

    The director tweeted the image and wrote, "What was a mirage, is now a clarity. A dream of a pious character never explored is now a reality. I am ecstatic to bring Kangana Ranaut on board as SITA. This pious journey will change the course of how we perceive our mythology.Thank you SS Studio for your immense support and belief." 
    Kangana shared the screenshot and thanked the director for the opportunity.

    Kangana's sister, Rangoli Chandel had also shared the throwback picture last year on her Twitter profile and wrote, "Ramayana being on air here sharing a picture of Kangana from school Ramayana play, make up costume direction by Kangana, she was hardly 13 years old used to get lot of scolding from papa for dressing up like this but she never cared.”

    Before Kangana Ranaut, it was Kareena Kapoor Khan who was in talks for doing the movie. However, as per reports, she didn't sign the movie due to the remuneration. It was said that she was charging a whopping amount. In fact, she was also trolled by people for asking money to play a prominent role. 

    Meanwhile, Kangana has other movies too in the pipeline, including Tejas, Dhaakad, Emergency etc. Her movie Thalaivi was released recently and the movie has been receiving positive reviews.

    Telugu movie stars Samantha Akkinen and Naga Chaitanya have been in the news over the past few weeks. According to many reports which were surfacing on the internet, the couple might be heading for a divorce.  
    Well, new reports suggest that Samantha’s father-in-law Nagarjuna is trying his best to get the duo to reconcile and move on from their differences. Samantha was missing from her father-in-law’s birthday celebrations on August 29, which further fuelled the separation rumours.

    Their separation rumours started when Samantha removed her husband’s surname ‘Akkineni’ from her Instagram handle and changed her display name to ‘S’. Since then, there have been reports of a rift. Recently, the actor also lashed out at media reports comparing the paparazzi to rabid dogs in a meme.   
    The news of their relationship falling apart gained even more momentum when Samantha went on a Goa vacation with friends of her husband.

    Recently, there was a little ray of hope for the ‘ChaySam’ duo. Naga had shared the trailer of his upcoming film Love Story on his Twitter account and Samantha responded to it by saying “Winner! All the very best to the team."

    The reports on Rohit Sharma becoming the captain of the Indian cricket team in ODIs and T20Is after the T20 World Cup 2021 are being rubbished by BCCI vice-president Rajiv Shukla, who has asked the fans and other Team India members to focus on the upcoming tournament towards the end of October. 
    A couple of days ago, the Times of India had reported that one of the BCCI sources had confirmed that active captain Virat Kohli was definite about giving up his leadership, at least in the shorter formats of the game,  to his deputy-in command, Rohit Sharma at the conclusion of the T20 World Cup.

    According to the report shared by the publication, the idea behind the transfer of authority was regarding Kohli’s wish to focus better on his skills as a world-class batsman, while also acknowledging the brilliance of Sharma as a captain in white-ball cricket himself.
    The anonymous BCCI source also said that the reason why the Indian cricket board was sharing this news at least a couple of months ahead of the expected timeline, was to prevent tabloids from creating untrue narratives about a power struggle between Kohli and Sharma. The goal was to keep controversy at bay for as long as possible.

    “There is nothing to this rumour. Also, let's focus on the T20 World Cup rather than playing soothsayer and predicting the future. There have been no talks on split captaincy,” Shukla said.
    Just yesterday, BCCI secretary, Jay Shah echoed Shukla’s take on the brewing rumours about the idea of split captaincy between Kohli and Sharma, suggesting that all such ideas are false at the moment and that Virat Kohli has no intentions of giving up his right to lead the team from the front.

    After Ajay Devgn, actor Vicky Kaushal is all set to feature in an upcoming episode of Into the Wild With Bear Grylls. According to the note shared by Discovery+, Vicky will be testing his survival skills along with Ajay Devgn. The shoot of the particular episode would take place in the Maldives. Ajay is already in the Maldives for the shoot.

    Into The Wild With Bear Grylls is a survival skills reality show that involves Indian celebrities venturing into the wilderness with the famous British survivalist and adventurer.
    Last year, Akshay had shot the episode in the famous Bandipur National Reserve, Karnataka, which is known to harbor the second-highest tiger population in India. Even superstar Rajinikanth had shot for the show in the Bandipur forest.
    On the professional front, Vicky Kaushal will next be seen in Sardar Udham Singh. Just a couple of days ago, a report in Pinkvilla suggested the film is set to release on Prime Video this year. The Vicky Kaushal-starrer is expected to be released on the OTT platform on October 16.

    Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav has shown his frustration with his Indian Premier League franchise, Kolkata Knight Riders for lack of communication and not telling him the reasons why he wasn’t getting picked in the Playing XI even for a single match.
    On former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra’s YouTube channel, the Chinaman opened up about being kept in the dark by both, the team management and the coaching staff about his position in the KKR dressing room.

    "If the coaches have worked with you before and are with you for a prolonged period of time, they understand you better. But it becomes very difficult when the communication is weak. Sometimes you don't even know that whether you will be playing or not, or what the team expects from you,” Yadav said in the video.

    The southpaw finally got to play for the Indian cricket team during the white-ball series under the captaincy of Shikhar Dhawan in Sri Lanka. He played in two ODis and two T20Is while scalping two wickets in each format of the game during their time at the island nation.

    For the unversed, Aamir is essaying the role of Laal Singh Chaddha, and it's a Hindi remake of the English movie Forrest Gump.

    Social media users took no time to comment and slammed the actor. One user wrote, "Why is he wearing his pants on his chest (sic)?" Aamir was seen in a pair of baggy jeans paired with a red striped T-shirt along with spectacles. Another comment read, "cartoon character play kar Raha hai….whatt the heckkk (sic)."

    One more user wrote, "Bakwaas". However, some fans also pointed out that he is dressed like Tom Hanks since he is playing his character. 

    Another person supported his look and said, "People laughin about his pants. Are not aware that he is playing the role of Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump. It's a character, read before commenting (sic)." 
    Aamir has been trolled several times before as well, for a string of other reasons. Recenrly, Kiran Rao and Aamir decided to part ways, and their divorce came as a shock. However, a few trolled the couple for their decision. 
    He was trolled for various reasons when his TV show, Satyamev Jayate was aired. 
    The movie Laal Singh Chaddha was set to release in December 2020 but was pushed by a year. It's now slated to release this year in December.

    There would hardly be any Indian who is oblivious to the megastardom and cult following that South superstar Rajinikanth enjoys. 
    Lovingly called ‘Thalaiva’, he is in fact treated like a God down South. He is legit worshipped by his fans and his pictures and posters of his movies are revered by having milk poured on them.

    While that is pretty common for Thalaiva fans to do, in a recent incident, a group of his fans were seen celebrating the first look of Rajinikanth’s upcoming movie Annaatthe in a rather unusual way. 

    Annaatthe is set to release this Diwali and would see stars like Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Meena, Khushbu, Soori, Sathish sharing the screen with Thalaiva who is playing a village chief in the movie.

    The first glimpse was released by Sun Pictures and fans found the strangest way to express their excitement for the movie. 
    Some people sacrificed a goat and sprinkled its blood on the poster. The horrific pictures and video went viral on social media and irked everyone who saw it.

    In the video, some men, who are believed to be Rajinikanth’s fans, are seen slaying a goat and smearing it’s bloodied body on the poster. 

    The visuals are highly disturbing and speak of the sheer madness and lengths people go to for the celebrities.

    In a statement, V M Sudhakar who is close to the actor and administers his fan club All India Rajinikanth Rasikar Mandram said “this is not only regrettable but also strongly condemnable,” further adding a plea for such so-called fans, “We request that nobody should be involved in such obnoxious acts.”

    It has happened earlier once though when Rajinikanth’s 2.0 was released. Fans slaughtered goats to celebrate the release.
