The Apple Watch usually launches alongside the new iPhone every year ever since it was first introduced six years ago. Apple is gearing up to launch the next iPhone this month, however it seems that the Apple Watch might be delayed.Β
Nikkei AsiaΒ and BloombergΒ both report that the next Apple Watch might be delayed because of issues in the production of the device. It’s rumoured that Apple has changed the design of the next Apple Watch with inspiration from the iPhone 12 Series. The new smartwatch is expected to have a squared-off design just like the iPhone 12 series.Β

Nikkei Asia reports that β€œManufacturers of Apple Watch 7, as the device is expected to be called, began small-scale production last week but encountered critical challenges in reaching satisfactory production performance, multiple people familiar with the situation said.”

β€œThree sources said the current disappointing production quality could be attributed to the complexity of design, which is significantly different from that of previous generations of the watch, and the assemblers found issues when putting together electronics modules, components and displays.”
It could be possible that Apple may still go ahead and announce the new Apple Watch during the iPhone launch event but may ship the smartwatch at a later date. This will not be the first time Apple will be delaying the launch of a device after making it official at a launch event.Β
It’s highly possible that Apple will showcase the next smartwatch at its event rumoured to take place on 17th September. The company may also open pre-orders for the smartwatch in select regions but make the actual device available at a later date. The exact release date depends on how the production issues are resolved and how long it takes to mass-produce the Apple Watch Series 7.Β

Having said that, it is possible that manufacturers may come up with a solution sooner than we think and ship the next Apple Watch on time. Only time will tell.

All of us have had a phase at some point during our lives when we were addicted to sugary sodas. The freshness, the zing, and that kick of sugarΒ is irreplaceable, when it comes to dealing with thirsty summers. However, the fact that regular sodas and soft drinks contain boat loads of sugar is also well-known now, and anyone who is remotely health conscious should steer clear of them.

    via GIPHY
Soft drink companies took cognizance of this fact (they had to, to sustain market share and profits in a changing healthscape), and bam, a new variety of soft drink was introduced, the kind that contains zero sugar and zero calories. While in the beginning, it seemed to be a dream come true for every 'coke addict' - the soft kind, please don't call legal on us - soon the whole thing bubbled up in a confusing frenzy of 'possible health risks'Β that superseded the actual concerns because of the sugar content in soft drinks and regular sodas.

Right from cancer threats to permanent digestive system damage, a lot of claims have been floating around when it comes to the 'damages diet soda can cause', but thankfully most of them are just myths. Here are 5 such myths about diet sodas and zero sugar - zero calorie drinks that need to be busted ASAP. Let us do it together, as the National Nutrition Week starts:
    1. Diet Sodas cause cancer because it has Aspartame Β© iStock
This is perhaps one of the biggest myths that surround diet and zero sugar variants of sodas. Yes, they do contain Aspartame, but the amount per can is so small, that it is negligible and cannot cause cancer in humans. Also, based on current research, The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has concluded that β€œthe use of aspartame as a general purpose sweetener… is safe."

    2. Artificial sweeteners in diet sodas and zero sugar soft drinks slow down your metabolism & promote fat storage Β© iStock
There is no solid research that substantiates this claim. However, there may be a reason why it is often blamed by myopic individuals. Since diet sodas have zero calories, it provides a false sense of security against fat loss, and there are chances that the individual may go ham while ordering other food items because of the same. A classic example of such an order: 'One pizza, large fries, chicken wings, onion rings and one diet soda'. What? How is ordering that diet soda cutting down all the extra calories from all the other food items? Plus, the fat gain here has got nothing to do with the diet soda.

    3. Regular soda is better than diet soda Β© iStock
How many times have you heard someone randomly saying 'Diet coke is worse than regular coke'? Can't count, right? Regular soda has a high amount of sugar, and diet soda doesn't. Which also means that a regular sweet soda is high in calories, which is not the case with diet soda. Do what you want to with this information. In other words, no, regular sugar laden drinks are not 'better' than diet/zero calorie sodas.

    4. Diet Soda will spike insulin Β© iStock
Diet soda contains no sugar, and Aspartame does not cause insulin to spike. In a nutshell, it's a myth.

    5. Diet soda & zero sugar drinks are not safe to drink Β© iStock
This is a lazy statement. Anything other than clean water is not safe to drink when not consumed in moderation. Even water, when consumed too much, can lead to problems. Are you supposed to be okay with consuming liters of diet soda every single day? No, of course that will have consequences. Moderation is the key, and the only thing worth noting is that when you're craving a sugar laden soft drink, a diet soda is a much better option that can satiate you without compromising your fat-loss diet.

With the final season of Money Heist premiering in less than 3 days, every fan’s weekend plans are in tow and sorted. However, a Jaipur firm has gone a step forward in empathising and joining the enthusiasm of watching the famous heist series and hence have declared September 3 as a holiday! Yes, you read it right.

Earlier last month, Netflix teased viewers with a witty tweet on the lines of β€˜should we consider 3rd September as a bank holiday’? to which this IT firm called Verve Logic responded.

While this is hilarious, but jokes apart, this is a great initiative to ensure no fake leave requests come their way and ideally, every Money Heist fan gets to sing Bella Ciao in peace. The firm also thought this to be a nice way to thank its employees for working through the pandemic and this announcement managed to garner so much attention on the internet, that people joked about sending their resume and Netflix actually tweeted them out lauding this cool step.

We had our "bank work" excuse ready for our boss but this is fantastic! https://t.co/2wb5c6MORm

The first part in the two-part finale airs on September 3 where we’ll finally get to see the fate of the heist, what happens to the Professor and if the group manages to escape alive.Β

England won the third Test in LeedsΒ in an emphatic manner, registering a massive innings and 76 run triumph, dominating the play from start to finish. With this win, England not only levelled the series 1-1 but also kept alive their chances of winning the five-Test series, with two matches to go.
Playing without some of their key players, England have shocked many with their performance and the victory in LeedsΒ would have boosted their confidence to a great extent, especially, after the way they lost the Lord’s Test despite starting the final day in the driver’s seat.

While their performance was exemplary, former England captain and one of the renowned broadcasters in world cricket has warned Joe Root and his team to not take Kohli’s team India lightly as they know how to bounce back when their backs are against the wall.

β€œAt Headingley, England swung the ball around corners. Skilful as India's seam bowlers are they did not swing the ball at all. But the last thing England must do now is think they have done the hard work and write India off ahead of Thursday's fourth Test in south London and the final match at Old Trafford -- grounds which should suit their attack better,” Hussain wrote in his column for The Daily Mail.
β€œRemember, they were bowled out for 36 by Australia in Adelaide late last year but came back to pull off a famous series win. And after Kohli had gone home, too,” he added.

Not to forget what Virat KohliΒ had said after his side lost the Leeds Test in a little over three days. At the post-match press conference he had said that the Indian players are hurt but they love to be in this situation when people start questioning their abilities.

β€œWe like to be in this situation where people start coming at us with doubts and really start questioning the ability of our team,” Kohli told the journalistsΒ after losing the third Test.
β€œThat is the situation we love best. I can guarantee you one thing -- that we will not be demoralised by this loss. The guys in the changing room are hurt. And when they are hurt they badly want to correct the things that didn't go well in this game. That is how we are going to play the next two test matches.”

Both teams have played some fantastic cricket in this series, so far, and have also made some terrible mistakes, and it’s only fitting that the series is hanging in the balance with one victory each.Β

However, the time for making mistakes is gone and neither of the two sides can anymore slump.
