    A vada pav is a favourite dish, especially for the people of Mumbai. It's made of potato mash, with spicy ingredients and is a delight on rainy days. 

    Vada pav has become a staple for people. I mean, if you are hungry, you will find at least one vada pav stall every 1 km in Mumbai.

    It is super affordable and also comes with Mirchi and some Chiwda. No surprise that this humble dish has now become world-famous, and even big, elite restaurants are making it a part of their menus. 

    The street food recently got a blingy makeover at a Dubai-based restaurant named O'Pao. This place has been serving vada pavs at a whopping cost, and here's how.

    The dish is laden with 22-karat gold and is priced a Rs 2,000 or AED 99. 

    It comes with butter and cheese and has sweet potato fries and a glass of mint lemonade. It is further packed with 22-karat gold leaves. 
    The video of the extravagant vada pav has now gone viral on Twitter, and social media users are saying that the staple food now has a 'gold standard'. 
    Some also spoke about how this vada pav doesn't have any chutney in it.

    This dish is available only for the dine-in option in the restaurant located in Karama. However, such a luxurious dish is not a newfangled thing, as, before this, we have also heard about the country selling 24-karat gold burgers and Biryani, and now Vada Pav has joined the bandwagon.

    Actress Neetu Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahani will be soon seen as special guests on the upcoming episode of The Kapil Sharma Show. 

    During their visit to the show, the mother-daughter duo had many interesting conversations with the host Kapil Sharma. 
    During one of the conversations, Kapil asked Riddhima to elaborate on the time when she was studying in London and Ranbir Kapoor used to take her stuff and give it to his girlfriends without asking her. 

    Riddhima said, "Yes, I was studying in London and had returned home during the holidays. I was just sitting around one day and saw one of his female friends come home. Then I noticed that the top she was wearing was very similar to the one I had. It was then that I realised that to save his pocket money, he used to give most of my belongings."
    To this, Neetu Kapoor said, "I have never given money to my children. But give them only as much as they need and never spoil them. I used to give them just enough."
    The Kapil Sharma Show airs on Sony Entertainment Television. 
    On the professional front, Neetu Kapoor will be seen sharing screen space with Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Kiara Advani in Jug Jugg Jeeyo. 
    And on the other hand, Riddhima is a successful fashion and jewelry designer-she married a businessman Bharat Sahni in New Delhi and the couple also has a daughter. 
    Ranbir Kapoor is a talented actor and despite giving many flops he is still surviving in the industry for many reasons. In some movies, he has portrayed his roles beautifully whereas in some films he has completely left us all disappointed.

    The five-Test series between India and England takes the centre stage at the Kennington Oval for the next five days starting Thursday. 
    Along with the players, some former cricketers, who are part of the commentary panel, have also shifted their base for the next five day and will be hoping for an exciting contest, with the series locked at 1-1.
    Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen recalled one of his fondest memories at this venue and it had nothing to do with his batting. 
    Pietersen made some fantastic memories playing on this ground, as he scored a brilliant 158 to win England the 2005 Ashes. However, nothing even came close to when he dismissed batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

    Dhoni was still new to international cricket but had already proved his mettle with some superlative knocks. Playing true to his name, the Ranchi-born cricketer was racing towards the three-figure mark with each stroke and entered the nervous-nineties by smashing Pietersen for a monster six that almost sailed out of the stadium.

    A century looked almost certain but Dhoni played a shot too many and paid a heavy price as he holed out at deep square leg to Alistair Cook.

    “Alastair Cook was under a high ball. And guess who the batter was? Mr. Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He’d knocked me for a monster six, almost went out of the ground into the Thames, gone,” Pietersen said in the video. 
    “I held the next one back. MS, I am afraid to say, dude, you’re in there (pointing at his pocket), I am not in your pocket,” he added. 
    We wonder what Dhoni’s reaction would have been had Pietersen said the same thing to Dhoni during the live match. From their past experiences, one thing we know for sure is that Dhoni wouldn’t have let it go like that and would have definitely said something in response like he did during an IPL match back in 2017.

    “Can you just do me a favour? Can you just go and whisper in MS’ ear that I’m a better golfer than him, please,” Pietersen asked Manoj Tiwary during the match. 

    When Tiwary informed Dhoni of Pietersen’s sledge in Hindi, Dhoni fired back with a brilliant one-liner: “He’s still my first Test wicket”.

    Dhoni might have missed out on a century at the Oval but that didn’t keep him from having a glorious playing career. Apart from his batting skills, he also established himself as one of the best Indian skippers of all time, leaving a legacy that is hard to match for any player.

    "Even as the Taliban's return to power in Afghanistan is a cause for concern for the whole world, celebrations of the barbarians by some sections of Indian Muslims is no less dangerous," he said in a video shared on social media.
    Shah also said that the very people who are currently celebrating the Taliban's return to power should instead question themselves if that's how they'd want things for themselves in the future.
    "Do they want to reform their religion or live with the old barbarism?" the actor questioned the section of people. Shah then also went on to describe the difference between what he referred to as "Hindustani Islam" and the Islam practiced in other parts of the world.
    "May God not bring a time when it changes so much that we cannot even recognize it," he concluded in the video.
    Before their return to power recently, the Taliban had held the reigns over roughly three-quarters of Afghanistan from 1996 to 2001 and enforced a strict interpretation of Sharia.
    However, it was then overthrown by US-led forces for harboring Al Qaeda that was behind the deadly 9/11 Attacks on the United States on September 11, 2001.

    Sidharth Shukla made his acting debut with the Hindi TV show Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na in 2008 and was enjoying the best phase of his life and career after he appeared in Bigg Boss and won it. Well, life can be extremely unpredictable and it’s shocking to know that a man who was fit a week back is no more.
    Dr. Sukhdeve of Cooper hospital has confirmed to Indian Express that actor Sidharth Shukla was brought dead to the hospital. “He was brought dead to the hospital some time ago," the senior Cooper Hospital official also told PTI. According to a report in India Today, the actor allegedly took medicine before sleeping and didn't wake up. The postmortem procedure is still underway and the body will be discharged after all the formalities. Sidharth had a heart attack and died of it at the age of 40.

    People are shocked to know that Sidharth is no more and are unable to believe this sad news. They are doubting it as the body has been taken to the Cooper Hospital just like in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput.

    Sadly, his last Instagram post was a tribute to the medical heroes who have been fighting to save lives in the pandemic era. This post also promoted the show, Mumbai Diaries 26/11 which shows the perspective of medical staff on the unfortunate day. 
    “To all the frontline warriors, a thank you from the heart! You risk your lives, work for countless hours, and comfort patients who couldn’t be with their families. You truly are the bravest! Being on the frontline surely isn’t easy, but we really appreciate your efforts,” he wrote.

    The 40-year-old actor was riding high on the success of his latest release show Broken But Beautiful 3, which is streaming on OTT platform ALTBalaji.

    A while back, in one of the interviews, he had reflected about his days in Bigg Boss. “It was a moment of my life where people got to know me because people always thought that they knew me, by judging me by the characters that I played,” he'd said.

    “I am slightly different from the characters. But then in Bigg Boss, they happened to see the real me and of course, some people liked and some people didn't, which is absolutely alright. It wasn't path-breaking or different, the only thing was that people got to know the real me and I am happy about that," Sidharth added. 
    It’s extremely unfortunate that he had to bid farewell at such an early age.

    Kiara Advani’s recent pictures from Daboo Ratnani’s 2021 calendar shoot set the internet on fire. 
    Many people started speculating that Kiara Advani posed nude for the calendar shoot. Clarifying the same, celebrity photographer Daboo Ratnani said that I know what people are saying but there is nothing like that. 
    In an interview with ETimes, Daboo Ratnani said, "Yes, I have read what's being said online. But Kiara has not gone topless in my black-and-white picture that has emerged of late."

    Earlier, she also gave it back to trollers who said that she has gotten surgery done. She said, “Main kisi event ke liye gayi thi, jo pictures bahar aaye (I attended an event and some pictures from that surfaced) on different social media platforms, there were a lot of comments about, 'Oh, she has done plastic surgery.' And the irony of it was main almost believe karne lagi ki maine kuch kiya hai apne aap ko (I almost started believing that I did something to myself).”

Aditya Chopra and Maneesh Sharma didn't want to compromise on the film's scale despite the pandemic, and they have planned 'Tiger 3' to be a visually spectacular theatrical experience. Thus, this schedule will add a lot to the film's visual extravaganza, and some never seen before action sequences will be filmed,” said the source.

    Kaun Banega Crorepati, popularly known as KBC, is India's most beloved quiz show. 
    Inspired by Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, a British quiz show, even KBC is on similar lines and has intrigued a massive audience in India. 
    Families sit in front of their televisions and answer the most challenging questions put up by India's superstar Amitabh Bachchan. Apart from his impeccable skills as a host, other factors like a lifeline, the contestant's stories, etc., have contributed to making KBC a huge success. 
    The whole plan was to take away the attention from the daily Saas Bahu soaps, and this new concept increased the show's TRP stat.

    The show has had many seasons and has seen two hosts, including Big B and Shah Rukh Khan. The quiz show is now back with yet another season, KBC 13. In the recent promo of the show, which is a celebrity special episode, we saw Sourav Ganguly make an appearance. 

    The show usually has a mysterious element to it. So this time, Amitabh turned contestant, whereas Ganguly was seen as the host. 
    He is seen grilling Amitabh and says that his 'lifeline' is cricketer Virender Sehwag.

    Both Sourav and Virender are the guests for the upcoming episode. KBC 13 has completed a week of its new season and will now present Shaandaar Shukravaar from 3rd September. 
    Many celebrities would be seen playing the game, but the first one would have the pair of former Indian cricketers.

    Sony TV shared a promo on their Instagram account where both the cricketers appeared to be in a jolly mood, pulling each other's leg. Sehwag also took a jibe at Sourav and made several jokes. 

    We also get to see Sourav on the hot seat while Amitabh and Virender are on the contestant seats. Sehwag also dropped a rather interesting bomb saying that 'Ganguly likes to steal jobs'. 
    He says, "Indian cricket team mein gaye Kaptani capture kar liye, BCCI gaye toh president bangaye, aur ab yahan aaye hain…" 
    Sourav asks Bachchan not to believe Sehwag. Sehwag further added that during difficult times, he was the one who saved him, as he was rescued at the opening, the lineup and even scoring runs.

    Sourav imitates Amitabh and goes on asking questions to him. That's when he requests saying, "Dada, daya kijiye hum par (please be kind to me)." He also says, "Ab aa kar ke pata chal raha hai ki yahaan jo baithta hai, uski haalat kya hoti hai."

    This episode in particular speaks volumes not just about the fun banter but also the game. Both the cricketers are seen playing diligently whilst also keeping the entertainment factor alive.  

    Mr Bachchan debuted on the show in 2000. Contestants answer increasingly complex questions to win a whopping amount of Rs 1 crore finally, which has now been increased to Rs 7 crore.
