The untimely death of popular Indian actor and Bigg Boss winner Sidharth Shukla is still a hard one for people to fathom. I mean, at the age of just 40, we figured that the amazingly talented star had so much to offer.

Unfortunately, he passed away after reportedly suffering a massive heart attack, leaving behind his mother and two elder sisters. All that is left for us to do is to pray for strength for his family in this torrid time.
While we still try to get used to the idea that we would never be seeing his smiling face on tv screens again, unfortunately, there is a long list of Bollywood stars who had sadly passed away after suffering from heart attacks. Here are some of them:
1. Sridevi © Instagram
One of the finest and influential actresses in Indian cinema, Sridevi had worked in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada language films, having around 300 films under her belt. However, on 24th February, 2018 the actress's body was found in a bathtub in Dubai's Jumeirah Emirates Tower hotel room after suffering from a reported cardiac arrest.
Her untimely death sent shockwaves not only across India but the rest of the world as well, after which crowds were seen gathered outside her Mumbai home.
2. Om Puri © Twitter
Om Puri was an actor who was lauded by different generations for being one of the finest performers in the Hindi film industry. The Padma Shri-winning actor had worked in critically acclaimed films like Ardh Satya, Paar, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, along with a few Hollywood films as well.
However, on 6th January, 2017, he sadly passed away after a massive heart attack following which he was awarded an honorary OBE for his contribution to the British film industry.

But the actor's life was cut short at the age of 44 after he suffered a heart attack at his residence in Mumbai late at night on 28th July, 2017.
4. Reema Lagoo © Twitter
We all remember Reema Lagoo from 90s movies like Salman Khan's Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Saath-Saath Hain and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
She was also a star performer of the hit Saas-Bahu comedy show, Tu Tu Main Main and had been working in the TV industry constantly. However, on May 18th, 2007, Reema passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest in the morning at the age of 59.
5. Razzak Khan © Twitter
Let's admit it! Our lives were made a lot lighter whenever we saw Razzak Khan on the TV screens. Khan was a very popular comic actor who did a wide range of movies through the 90s and 2000s.
He had also been working on Comedy Nights With Kapil. But sadly, on 1st June, 2016, Razzak breathed his last after suffering a heart attack.
5. Sudha Shivpuri © Twitter
Remember Baa from Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi? Throughout the show, actors kept on leaving and returning, but Baa played by Sudha Shivpuri remained the same.
The veteran actress had gone on to do movies like Insaaf Ka Tarazu, Hamari Bahu Alka, Hum Dono and The Burning Train. Unfortunately, she had not been keeping well since the start of 2013 and on May 20th, 2014, passed away after suffering from a heart attack.
6. Vivek Shauq © YouTube
Can you remember him and not have a smile on your face? Yeah, Vivek Shauq was one such actor who had impeccable comic timing. He had worked in movies like Aitraaz, 36 China Town, Dil Hai Tumara, Tango Charlie and Gadar: Ek Prem Katha.

Unfortunately, he passed away after suffering a heart attack on 27th December, 2013 while he was on a family holiday in Dubai.
8. Dev Anand © BCCL
Without a shadow of a doubt, Dev Anand was one of the biggest stars Bollywood has known and is rightfully up there as a Hall of Famer. The actor through his work in Indian cinema for around 65 years and 116 films, had garnered prestigious awards like Padma Bhushan and the Dadasaheb Phalke.
Sadly, the actor passed away at the age of 88 on 4th December, 2011 in his hotel room in London.

She had worked in a lot of films over a period of more than 60 years with films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Veer Zara still remembered for her performances.

Breakups aren’t pretty, not when you’ve been with someone for years and not if you’ve been on just a couple dates together.
If you are the one ending things, you have got to be careful about how you do it so you don’t leave the other person hurt and doubting themselves. You owe them that much.
© Maddock Films
However, what’s the right way to break up? Is a text acceptable? Well, given the pandemic situation, it is.
While a long-term partner deserves a meet-up or at least a Skype call (when you can’t make it personally), if you’ve been on one, two, or a few dates with someone and the relationship status isn’t defined, you can end things via text but make sure you do it kindly.
© iStock
It is not the best thing to break up via text but it’s way better than ghosting.
Here is how you break up with someone over text, what you should and shouldn't say to someone in a breakup text:
-Keep It Short © iStock
See it as ripping off a bandaid, only on someone else. Don’t make it any more painful than it is and keep your break up text crisp, to-the-point and short.
You might have a 100 reasons to not be with them, but you don’t have to list out all of them. Say “It was nice meeting you, but I don’t see this working out.” End it with “I wish you the best.”
-Be Honest, But Not Brutal © iStock
If you didn’t feel the spark, you didn’t.
If you don’t agree with their views and values in life, you don’t have to compromise. Rather than finding a lame excuse like “I want to focus on my career,” it’s better to say what didn’t click for you, unless it’s something personal.
Tell them as it is but be mindful of not hurting their feelings.
-Avoid The Clichés © iStock
“I am not ready for a relationship”, and “It’s not you, it’s me”. We all know the drill. Nobody goes on a few dates and then suddenly decides they don’t want to be in a relationship.
The stereotypical answers are pretty disrespectful and you need to put in more effort than that.
Create an original text rather than copy-pasting what you’ve seen in movies. Refer to Point 2 in case you don’t know how to.
-Timing Is Key © iStock
It’s not wise to drop the B bomb on them when they are flirting, sexting or gushing about the last date on text. Also, don’t do it right after you come back home after seeing them or worse, right after you two hooked up.
Start your text with a usual greeting like “Hi”. Proceed with your reason and let them know that the relationship has run its course. Basically, let them down easy and slowly.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is sure to give all the viewers a refreshingly new superhero in the form of Simu Liu, the first Asian leading man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In Shang-Chi, Liu plays the titular character based on the 1973 comics, a martial arts expert trained to be an assassin since childhood.
© Instagram/Simu Liu
When it was announced that Liu has been roped in as Shang-Chi, social media users found his old tweet. In 2014, Simu had tagged Marvel and said, “Hey Marvel, great job with Captain America and Thor. Now how about an Asian-American hero?" And he also followed up with a tweet in 2018 - "Ok Marvel, are we gonna talk or what?"
© Twitter
Well, it’s like Marvel read his tweets and answered his wishes by giving him the big offer. I recently got the opportunity to get in touch with him and asked him about his famous tweet and how he's feeling now that it has become a reality.
He told me, “It feels amazing and it’s like a dream come true. Becoming a superhero has been a dream role for me ever since I started out the acting journey almost 10 years ago. It has been a big part and this is why I tweeted what I did. I kept up with every single Marvel movie from Iron Man onwards. Around the time of the Civil War was when I started to say that it’s time we need an Asian superhero. Wouldn’t it be great if I get an opportunity to play him? Did I think I had a chance? Probably, not (laughs). I tweeted it anyway and I didn’t realize it until somebody reminded me of it after Shang Chi was announced. It really shows you the power of manifesting to the universe and vocalizing your dreams.”
Here’s my interview with him:
He went on to add that he was a single child and the thought of being a misfit kid becoming a superhero always fascinated him.
He further told me, “Being a superhero was like the ultimate dream from me growing up. I was the only child and my parents were working. I watched all Saturday morning cartoons and movies. I became obsessed with the idea that even a misfit kid could become a hero, save the world and have a special destiny. It’s this part of the narrative that always gripped me.”
It’s obviously a dream come true for him but being the first always comes with its own set of challenges. I asked him if he ever felt the burden of being the first Asian superhero. He said, “I don’t choose to see it as a burden but an incredible opportunity. I think the world is ready for an Asian superhero and I want to show everyone how it feels to fully embrace it rather than to treat it as a burden or shy away from it. I am incredibly grateful for it and I am also hopeful that it opens doors in the future for more superhero movies like this so that many more communities could see themselves like it as they haven’t been portrayed this way. I think it’s a sign of progress.”
It surely is a sign of progress and having already seen the movie, I would surely suggest you book your tickets for September 3 and watch the movie.

Another one of Karan Johar’s problematic productions from the 2000s that gave toxic individuals a push for pursuing extra-marital affairs and even justify them, this movie is about leaving your morals behind and diving headfirst into problematic concepts, like cheating on your very loyal spouse.
© Dharma Productions
The movie starts with an OTT introduction to the film’s most bitter and annoying character Dev aka Shah Rukh Khan, who is currently playing football for a big league. Meanwhile his wife Rhea aka Preity Zinta is walking up for her interview as the Editor of a fashion magazine and gets judgemental looks for being the strong, independent and a career-oriented woman.
© Dharma Productions
Within the first 5 minutes of the movie we’ve established that Dev is a bit of an ass and instead of being happy that his wife nailed the interview, comes at her for missing his game and rubs the fact that he earns more than her right in her face. Manchild, alert!
© Dharma Productions
Cut to a rather controversial scene where Rishi aka Abhishek Bachchan is seen passed out on a couch after what seems like a college frat party but was instead his bachelor party - with only bachelors in sight… 4 of them to be precise...
© Dharma Productions
Maya aka Rani Mukherjee’s introduction is given by showing her cleaning a mirror..on her wedding day...in a lehenga. And don’t even get us started on how much happier she looks with a washcloth in her hand than imagining Rishi by her side - the man she is about to marry but, clearly, doesn’t want to.
The first and the only red flag that needed to be taken into consideration but was ignored just like morality was in the entire film.
via GIPHY
Dev’s mom aka Kiron Kher is catering at Rishi and Maya’s wedding and stumbles upon ‘Sexy Sam’ who is the only sensible yet kinkiest character in the film played by Amitabh Bachchan.
© Dharma Productions
Terrified of marrying Rishi (the same guy who spent his bachelor party passed out next to 4 guys) out of an obligation towards his father who raised her when her parents passed away, Maya is sitting and wallowing on a bench when she meets Dev. Maya’s OCD compels her to talk to him, even if it was for asking the guy to not litter.
© Dharma Productions
The two get to talking, share deep personal secrets (because what else are strangers for) and just as Dev is leaving to go pick his mother up, he gets hit by a car and breaks his leg as well as his dream of becoming a professional footballer.
© Dharma Productions
4 years later, Dev is more bitter than ever. He walks with a limp and a foul mouth that allows him to only communicate in taunts with his rather understanding wife, Rhea.
© Dharma Productions
On the other hand, Maya is in an unhappy relationship, both for her and her husband who despite trying to show his love to her, is always treated as an outsider.
© Dharma Productions
The couple bump into each other and end up befriending each others’ spouses.
© Dharma Productions
Dev and Maya start meeting each other and decide to try the ‘girl and boy can be friends’ charade, minus the platonic feelings. In a pretence to help each other with their respective marriages, they use it as an excuse to get closer to each other.
© Dharma Productions
What follows is a series of secret dates where the two objectify each other, find ways to touch each other, flirt with one another, all until the obvious happens - they fall in love. All this while, their respective spouses - Rishi and Rhea are still trying to make things work despite being done with the two being emotionally unavailable or sensitive towards them in their relationship.
© Dharma Productions
Maya and Dev who apparently feel guilty for their partners, but not enough, start having an affair. Only to be caught by Rishi’s dad and Dev’s mom. That night, Sam has a heart attack and on his deathbed, he asks his lying and cheating daughter-in-law to finally do the right thing - leave Rishi and stop ruining both their lives.
© Dharma Productions
Sam dies and Maya and Dev decide to end their little affair. But in order to be able to live with themselves, they need to tell their spouses the truth. You see, Maya here (as selfish as she is) doesn’t care that the guy has just lost his father.
© Dharma Productions
For her, her own peace of mind matters more and so she breaks the bad news to him and the guy, obviously, loses his shit.
© Dharma Productions
As does Rhea and both divorce their good-for-nothing partners.
Of course Maya and Dev hide the news of divorce from each other and pretend to be happy, because by this time we’ve established how the two are compulsive liars.
© Dharma Productions
You see, up until now, one could say that Johar has depicted quite the dark yet realistic side of broken marriages. Ideally, he could’ve left the story here - at two people who cheated, spending the rest of their lives repenting and regretting their decision. But no, he had to go the extra mile and make the story more problematic by giving it a happy ending.
© Dharma Productions
It’s three years later, Dev and Maya are both living alone (unless you count guilt as something). Rishi comes to see Maya, tells her how he has fallen in love and is remarrying. He invites both her and Rhea to his wedding. Rhea is now dating her boss and reveals to Maya how she too has moved on from Dev.
© Dharma Productions
She tells her to get back together with Dev because god knows the two lying pieces of s**t belonged together.
© Dharma Productions
We are taken to an uninspired climax at the train station where the two obviously reunite, giving us one message alone - that cheating is okay and ultimately, gets you what you want, be it forgiveness, a new spouse or even thrill.
The End.
