Virat KohliΒ and Rohit SharmaΒ have been the cornerstone of the Indian Cricket team for several years now.Β
Whenever they take the field their only aim is to give their best and win matches for the country. That’s why it’s disheartening to see whenever we hear of reports suggesting the alleged rift between the two talismans.
Skipper Kohli has vehemently rubbished all such reports several times describing them as β€œridiculous” and β€œdisrespectful” to the players and the team. Even then, some people continue to believe that there was a potential rift between Kohli and his white-ball deputy, especially after India bowed out from the 2019 ODI World Cup .
    Β© Reuters
After Kohli, head coach Ravi ShastriΒ has now opened up about the alleged rift and said that both the batters have great understanding and he had never seen any such thing affecting the dressing room atmosphere.

Shastri, who is known for his brilliant oratory skills, said had there been an effect inside the team he would have definitely confronted both of them and told them to β€œlook at things differently”.
    Β© Reuters
"I never saw it. So, when people used to ask me like this, I say what you have seen I have not seen. Hamesha taalmel acha hai (the coordination has always been there). I have never seen it affecting the team,” Shastri told Times NowΒ in an exclusive interview.

β€œIf I see an effect in the team, I will say on Virat or Rohit's face that this is not on and you have to look at things differently. But not once have I seen it impacting the team from day 1. I am a person who says what I want," said the former India all-rounder.
    Β© Reuters
Reacting to a similar question in 2019, Kohli had said: "I too have heard a lot. Dressing room atmosphere is important to succeed. If this (rumour of the rift) was true, we would not have performed well. It's ridiculous to read such news. We are overlooking faces. We are turning blind eyes towards good things. It's disrespectful to bring such news. You'll come to the changing room and see how we are. We can’t show you videos. It baffles you as a team member and the captain.”

    Β© Reuters
However, instead of rubbishing the whole issue, the way Shastri tried to shoulder arms to the question saying he has 'never seen anything affecting the dressing room' gave, those who strongly believe in these rifts, the impression that there was definitely something wrong between the two players at some point in time.

ok so there IS a rift but coach saab has not seen it affecting the team

β€” @India (@firebal_india) September 2, 2021There was definitely something wrong post 2019 WC for a few months..but now everything seems sorted...no need of digging old graves now. Hope this is an old press conference..and if it's not..it's a stupid ques by the journo.
β€” Anubhav_33 (@VamosRafa33) September 2, 2021Β Even if there was bad blood between the two of them, it seems they have dealt with it like adults and we should not try to dig up old graves anymore.Β

The word β€˜feminism’, which often gets people riled up, is often used in the wrong way because a lot of people (women included) don’t even know what it actually stands for. In simple terms- Equality.Β
Feminism does not advocate for women having an upper hand over men, but paves way for equal rights and opportunities for both genders.Β
However, people who don’t understand that, use it wrongly and to justify the most ridiculous POV. Case in point, this man who thinks feminism is the reason why a lot of women end up single.Β Β Β Β Β Β
    Β© Twitter
A Twitter user shared a video of a guy who uploaded a rant video on TikTok about why he thinks even the most beautiful women are single today.Β

Stating β€˜feminism’ as the reason why women can’t find a man, he calls women delusional and tells them β€œYou are the problem.”
    Β© Viacom18 Motion Pictures
He might be the videshi version of Kartik Aaryan from Pyaar Ka Punchnama, as he goes on ranting about how he β€˜has’ to provide for women, pay their bills and in return, they don’t love him unconditionally.Β

Can he hear himself? Because that sounds like conditions to me.Β
    See the video:
    ... this scary asf pic.twitter.com/COQF6BnNGp
    β€” Aisha (@princessjahadd) August 26, 2021
His reasons are not only toxic but also don’t add up.Β
He blames women for not loving men unconditionally, like his mom, but expects to be submissive to him when he provides for them.Β
He might think that he’s speaking for all men out there, but he couldn’t be more wrong (just like the reasons he gave in the video).
    Β© Viacom18 Motion Pictures
Among the users who slammed the video, there were men (real men) who completely disagreed with him. They thought it’s coming from a woman-hating, manchild and no, not all men think like that.

    Β© Prime Video
Here are some of the wholesome replies from men to his video:

As a man, there is nothing toxic about being dominant. HOWEVER, whatever way this guy is trying to explain it is completely wrong. You can tell that he despises women by the emphasis and passion he puts in his words.
β€” Stick (@i_amstick) August 29, 2021Dude is WEIRD MAN. Men should be submissive to their woman, but know when to be dominant i.e in bed lol.
No one should ever do something in order to feel like they have the right to tell someone what to do.
β€” James (@James_V8024) August 29, 2021β€œI didnt learn the basic skills of life so I need a woman to be my mom since Im too old for mommy to take care of me.” As a short guy, I get it but damn man, you gonna act like you don’t have a type either he also gonna act like there arent women that arent bread winners foh
β€” Ryan (@ryanfarias24) August 29, 2021His curtains aren’t even on a rod - just nailed up there. Also the batteries in his smoke detector need changed. No woman wants you because you can’t even do the basics of being a grown man with a job and his own place.
β€” JOE (@j0seph08) August 26, 20211.) Being β€œsingle” is not a problem to be solved. 2.) Even if it was, HE is not the solution 3.) If he is the only option out there, my daughter can be β€œsingle” forever but 4.) Thank God, he is not. Also 5.) If you gotta tell us, you’re not β€œdominant,” you’re just a jerk.
β€” mtorez (@mtorez) August 26, 2021The rant video went viral and people have a lot of things to say about it. While some did support him saying they agree, most slammed him for his toxic POVs about women.Β
All said and done, one thing’s for sure, that if he doesn’t change his views and see women as doormats who would be submissive to his demands, he most definitely gonna end up single.Β Β Β

It is hard to stand out from the plethora of smartphones that keep flooding the Indian smartphone market. Realme has also contributed towards the wide selection of budget smartphones in the country but at least the company is now trying to differentiate itself. Smartphones are getting boring, there’s no doubt about that. The only thing we now care about is the hardware specifications and if the camera is decent enough to capture memories.Β
However, what if you did something different with the design that literally makes a smartphone unique. That’s the Realme GT Master Edition. I’ve been using the Realme GT Master Edition for about three weeks and here’s what I think about the smartphone that might turn a few heads.Β
Design and DisplayΒ By far, the main attraction here is the design Realme has chosen to use at the back of the smartphone. Realme says it has used β€œvegan leather” at the back of the phone to give the smartphone a different texture feel. I have to say that Realme has successfully managed to do that as the leather-like texture is surely a delight to feel when using the smartphone. I even love the grey colour as it isn’t gaudy and very minimalistic to look at.Β
    Β© MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
The unique design of the smartphone comes from the mind of designer Naoto Fukasawa, who also designed the two previous Realme Master Edition smartphones. In this case, the design has tried to emulate the touch and feel of a travel suitcase which on its own is quite unique. Since the smartphone uses somewhat of a β€œconcave” design, it does a great job of giving it some layered 3D characteristics. Sometimes I wish more companies took risks like this instead of using the same glass body design that eventually gets covered up by a protective case anyway. With the Realme GT Master Edition, I never felt like using a protective case with the smartphone.Β

    Β© MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
Apart from the unique back, the smartphone follows the standard design where you will find the camera module on the top left corner, volume rockers on the left edge of the phone and the lock screen button on the right edge of the phone. Apart from that, the smartphone is fairly light which was surprising as I expected the device to be heavier due to the fake leather back.Β

    Β© MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
When it comes to the display, the Realme GT Master Edition has a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display has a peak brightness level of 1000 nits and a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Overall, the display’s quality is fairly similar to other Super AMOLED displays. It does accurately represent colours and has sharp visuals. However, it still isn’t the highest grade AMOLED display out there in this price range. For watching movies and TV Shows, the Realme GT ME gets the job done, however you should keep your expectations in check when comparing to other Realme devices.Β

PerformanceΒ The Realme GT Master Edition is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G chipset and my review unit came with 8GB of RAM. While the 8GB of RAM is sufficient for daily tasks such as web browsing, email and social media, it won’t perform as fast or efficiently as the 800 series chipsets.Β
In my usage, I also experienced slight overheating especially when I started to use the camera or while playing games like Super Mario Run. The case remained the same when we played other games such as Genshin Impact and BGMI. I do have to point out that there were noticeable frame rate drops in some of the more graphic-heavy titles, however it didn’t render any of the games unplayable. I advise playing the game in medium settings so that it can maintain 60FPS in competitive games like BGMI.Β
    Β© MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
In our benchmark test, the Realme GT Master Edition scored 776 (single-core) and 2675 (multi-core) on Geekbench 5. That’s a respectable score for a mid-budget smartphone but I feel the smartphone was ultimately held back due to 8GB of RAM. There is a mode where you can slightly overclock the CPU or the GPU for better results in games, however, it does have an adverse impact on the battery of the phone.Β

The Realme GT Master Edition has a 4,300 mAh battery which is fairly smaller than the competition. It can last up to an entire day with moderate usage, however the battery life does suffer when using CPU/GPU intensive apps. The battery can be fast-charged using the 65W SuperDart charger where it can get fully charged in 33 minutes.
CameraΒ The Realme GT Master Edition has a 64MP main sensor that is coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP Macro sensor. In my usage, the cameras weren’t exactly fun to use as many of the colours looked washed out or oversaturated. In some cases, the images also lacked enough detail even when using the 64MP mode. The macro lens is utterly useless as I always prefer a telephoto sensor over a sensor you will barely use.Β
    Β© MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
The lack of a telephoto lens really does hamper the overall photography experience as you can clearly notice noise when using digital zoom. In my opinion, a telephoto lens is always preferable over a macro lens as it comes in handy in taking pictures of objects that are far away. I don’t remember the last time I used macro-lens to take pictures of a bug or a flower and it seems like Realme missed the memo.Β

If you like to take pictures to share on social media, the Realme GT Master Edition will not give you the best possible results. It does a great job at taking images with enough light, however falls flat when you’re in a dark room. Realme still needs to work a lot on its imaging quality, especially on the Realme GT Master Edition.Β
The Final SayΒ The Realme GT Master Edition is fairly unique looking and offers an interesting design choice to make it less boring than its competition. It offers decent performance, super-fast charging speeds and a memorable design to make it stand out from the crowd.Β
However, the phone still needs improvement in the camera department to make it a viable option to consider. For Rs 27,999, Realme has managed to deliver an exciting product that could become a great smartphone to own in the future if the company supports it with meaningful software updates.Β

Following a diet is not all that difficult when it comes to the actual dieting bit. You know what is difficult, though? The urge to control when people around you are letting it loose and eating like there's no tomorrow. But isn't that precisely the point of eating out and having fun at parties? What's a party where one doesn't give in to sins?

    via GIPHY
So what do you do when you want that six pack, but also want to have fun? You can't possibly be a recluse throughout your life, or even as long as the diet continues (because sometimes they continue for months) - mainly because your friends will disown you. If you are willing to make that sacrifice, you my friend are built differently and probably don't even need help. But what about the rest of us 'normal' people?

    via GIPHY
Worry not, for I have been on that boat, and had to be sneaky to bail myself out of that pickle. This National Nutrition Week, let's not bail on being healthy, and here are 7 ways to do this without having to be a social pariah.
    1. Don't Go With An Empty Stomach Β© iStock
You know what's the best way of avoiding junk food? The lack of hunger. If you're full, you won't have the most tempting food even if it's kept right next to you. Eat just before stepping out for that party or that dinner, if you want to stick to your diet. Did you ask 'who eats before going out for dinner'? Well you, if you have no self control when you're hungry. If you're getting late, at least have a protein shake. That will keep you full for a while.

    2. Focus on the protein Β© iStock
Suppose you're at the party AND you're hungry. What do you do? Well, you attack the protein that's not fried or dipped in 6 layers of grease. Have the chicken, paneer, and tofu. Ask for a variety that's steamed or grilled. Have a side of spicy/flavourful sauce so that you don't need gallons of it. That way you enjoy, and get full sooner while fulfilling your daily quota of protein.

    3. Avoid the alcohol Β© iStock
This, my friend, is a must. If you get drunk, you'll have no self control left, and the damage can undo several days of your hard work in the gym. You'll not be in a state to workout the next day, and will run the risk of 'meh I'll start again from next week' - which by now you know, is lethal. If you must drink, limit yourself to a peg. Be sneaky and mix/replace with water. Another great option is to keep sipping diet soda.

    4. Avoid the fries Β© iStock
We love them, but they can be horrible in terms of maintaining your macro balance. All the extra fat and carbs will bring forth hundreds of calories, and the guilt will last for days. Instead, have a flavourful salad. It will fill you up sooner and will keep your mouth engaged.

    5. Be smart about 'Chakna' Β© iStock
So you're not drinking but your friends are, and all the chakna is kept right on the table. You innocently pick up the peanut bowl and start eating. Stop right there, my friend. Peanuts are extremely calorie dense, which means a small portion contains a lot of calories. A small comparison: 100 gm peanuts contain about as many calories as 700 gm potatoes. Imagine yourself just randomly gobbling up 700 gm of potatoes because you're 'bored'. You can have some salted almonds and cashews but don't go overboard.

    6. Carry a part of your food Β© iStock
This would be what the memers call the 'Sigma Move'. Yes, a couple of people will make jokes, but it saves you the misery of being hungry around drunk people without having any food of your own, and you don't have to kill yourself while trying to figure out 'good options'. When you have those abs soon, we all know who will have the last laugh.

    7. Get good at counting your macros Β© iStock
This means you should be able to count calories and have a good grip on segregating portions throughout the day. E.g. If you are on a 2000 calorie diet, have 800 calories throughout the day, and save 1200 calories for the party. That will allow you to be full and not be miserable among food that's 'not for you'. A large chicken breast weighing around 200 gm, will contain around 250 calories. Add the condiments and grease, and still it won't go beyond 300 calories. Start eyeballing food items like this, and try to calculate calories along with protein, fat, and carbs, and you'll never have to worry about 'accidental overeating' ever again.

It's not easy; if it were, everyone around would be fit. But is it worth it? Absolutely! Also, after a couple of times, your friends will also get used to it and ask you the secret instead of annoying you with their pointless jibes. All the best!

A restaurant owner in Greater Noida was shot dead on Tuesday night after a feud due to the delayed order, as per the police.Β
The food was taking longer than expected to be prepared, which led to a commotion at the restaurant between the staff and the delivery personnel which led to a major argument, following which the intervention of the owner was needed.
    Β© iStock
The victim named Sunil Agarwal was a 38-year-old man who owned a restaurant named Zam Zam at Mitra Enclave. He was caught in an argument between staff and delivery food agents over delayed orders when three men opened fire for no apparent reason. They weren't even connected to the order or the delivery agents in any way, according to a Hindustan Times report.

    Β© iStock
The delivery agent arrived at the restaurant to collect the order and was asked to wait as one of the items was still getting prepared.Β

As per the deputy commissioner of police, Vishal Pandey, around ten delivery agents were waiting for the order at around 12:15 am as 15 food items were getting prepared. This was when the disagreement happened, which led to further events and finally, Agarwal's death.
    Β© iStock
Pandey said, "A Swiggy delivery boy was engaged in a heated argument with restaurant staff, Narayan, over a delay in food. When the restaurant owner Sunil Agarwal reached there to intervene, someone opened fire from outside the restaurant, and the bullet hit Agarwal in the head."

    Β© iStock
Pandey also mentioned that police asked the delivery agents about all the people present there but could not find any evidence of the murder. Hence a case was registered for the missing people from the scene under section 302.Β

The news also went viral as the earlier suspect was the food delivery agent. Abhishek, the deputy commissioner of police, Greater Noida, mentioned that a search was started for the three suspects.Β
In the recent news, the police clarified that the food delivery agent was not involved in the owner's death.Β
The three accused have finally been arrested after a long chase. The accused Vikas was shot in the leg with Devender and Sunil, who tried to run.
    Β© YouTube/Hindustan Times
DCP Pandey said, "The three were hanging around outside the restaurant in an inebriated state when a food delivery agent was arguing with the restaurant staff. They somehow got involved and shot the restaurant owner who was trying to intervene. They appeared to be drunk."

    Β© Instagram/Zamzam
He also said that the three men were waiting outside the restaurant on a bike and later approached the owner trying to appease the delivery boy. Amongst the three, Vikas shot the owner. The police have also found the murder weapon and a pistol. Vikas is getting treated at the hospital, but the men have now surrendered.

It is a sad day for the entire entertainment industry and fans of actor Sidharth Shukla who passed away this morning due to cardiac arrest. The 40-year-old actor was at the peak of his career in terms of signing numerous new projects and getting the well deserved recognition post his stint as a winner on India’s biggest reality show Bigg Boss.

Sidharth enjoyed a crazy fandom and his fan base even has a name for it, β€˜sidhearts’, as they like to call themselves. While his demise has left a hollowness and a wave of shock is still residing in the hearts of everyone, here’s looking at the chronicle of his journey as we continue remembering him.
Sidharth was the youngest of the three siblings and the only brother to his elder sisters. He lost his father at a young age and after finishing his education from St. Xaviers in Mumbai, he graduated with a degree in design.
    Β© Instagram
He soon took up modelling and got a lot of fame as well. After participating in Gladrags Manhunt 2004,Β  he went on to win the Best Model Of The World in Turkey in 2005 and was the first Asian model to win this title. β€œIt was a very proud feeling especially because I was representing my country there. I also say that I was representing my country there as everybody in that foreign country addressed me as the Indian boy. This clearly stated I was not Siddharth Shukla but I was an Indian in a foreign country. That moment was indeed a very special moment of my life as I got to represent my country in a small way through this and eventually take the tag back home. Back home, I got a warm welcome from one and all. Phone calls kept coming in and so did offers. In the middle of modelling, acting happened. I am not a trained actor but am of the view that one learns more practically and that’s exactly how I have learnt", he had mentioned in an interview.

    Β© Instagram
Soon acting offers started pouring and he auditioned for them. One of the most famous TV commercials he aired in was for Fair & Lovely brand and that boosted his upcoming acting stint.

He soon made his television debut with a show named Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na and then took up several more acting offers before becoming a household name with Balika Vadhu. He also became a contestant of dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa .

In 2014, he got his big screen break with Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya opposite Alia Bhatt. While not many Bollywood offers came post that, his presence on the TV screen became more prominent and he soon also hosted Savdhaan India. There was no stopping for this talented and super good looking actor who went on to win Khatron Ke Khiladi and even hosted India’s Got Talent.

In 2019, after the beautiful chemistry with fellow contestant and close friend Shehnaaz on Bigg Boss made them β€˜sidnaaz’ for all their fans, Sidharth went on to win the reality show and thus became a permanent fixture in the eyes and hearts of all his fans and people around him.

He was at his fittest, acing his fitness game, starred in a hit OTT show called Broken But Beautiful 3, was signing up some big projects and was in a lot of demand lately for his work and talent. It continues to be shocking to fathom that the actor succumbed to a cardiac arrest at a young age of 40 and we will be deprived of his presence. We pray for the peace of his beautiful soul as he continues living on in every β€˜sidheart’.

Imagine you just won a gold medal at the biggest sporting event, that too by smashing a world record but are stripped of the medal for turning up three-minute late to the call room. Yes you read that right -- three minutes!
    Gutted right?
Remember this. 17.94m. Muhammad Ziyad Zolkefli. pic.twitter.com/2ElsAFrjpX
    β€” ada mokhtaruddin (@AdaMokhtar) September 1, 2021
But not more than Malaysian shot putter Muhammad Ziyad Zolkefli, whose whole world came shattering within a span of few minutes.Β
Having broken the world record on his way to winning his second consecutive Paralympic gold in Tokyo in the F20 class, Zolkefli was on top of the world but his jubilation didn’t last long as he was disqualified for arriving three minutes late for the event. His five years of hard work was snatched away from him in the cruellest possible manner.
The biggest issue here is that if the officials thought he broke the rules, why was he allowed to participate in the event? And what was the point of stripping him of his medal after giving him the green signal to participate in the competition?
    Β© Reuters
The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) said Zolkefli was allowed to participate because he had a "logical" explanation for being late at the time. But after the event got over, the match officials deemed that there was no "justifiable reason" for him to be late.

The IPC spokesman Craig Spence said that the decision was taken as per the rules and added it had nothing to do with the Ukrainian athletes.
Whoever reads this, just to let you know this amazing athlete named Ziyad from Malaysia broke the world record. Remember his name β€” Muhammad Ziyad Zolkefli. https://t.co/PEJbnFtnxB
    β€” SA (@SyamimiAmiruddn) August 31, 2021
"They were late, they may have had a logical reason for being late, and therefore we allowed them to compete and look at the facts of the matter afterwards," Spence was quoted as saying by news agency AP.
"People say the Ukrainian stole the gold. No, absolutely not. The Ukrainian had nothing to do with it. It was the athletes that were late.Β
"We are now seeing comments on all our social media posts that have nothing to do with the men's shot put F20 event.
β€œI'm sorry. Rules are rules. The decision was taken. It wasn't the Ukrainians fault that the Malaysian was late," he added.
Why Were Athletes Late? Β© Reuters
Besides Zolkefli, two other para-athletes were also disqualified for the same reason and when asked about the reason they said they "didn't hear the announcement or it was in a language" that they didn’t understand.

The decision caused a massive uproar on social media, especially in Malaysia who feel they have been robbed in broad daylight.
Azizulhasni Awang was denied gold because of a 'sabotage'. Ziyad Zolkefli was denied gold because some athletes protested after the event has finished.

Another robbery for Malaysia. @Tokyo2020, Malaysians will never forgive you!

"Absolutely disgraceful! You should not have allowed the athletes to compete if they were late. Don't steal this hard-earned, world record-breaking medal from Ziyad," said Malaysian MP Fahmi Fadzil.
