    Abhishek Bachchan has recently sold his luxury condo in Mumbai’s Oberoi 360 West. According to reports, the actor has got around Rs 45.75 crores for the sale of his opulent apartment. 
    Abhishek Bachchan and their wife Aishwarya Rai would have been neighbors to Shahid Kapoor and Akshay Kumar if they hadn’t offloaded the house. The actor bought the house in 2014 for Rs 41 crores.

    According to a report in Money Control, the size of the house is around 7,527 square feet and is situated on the 37th floor of the Oberoi 360 West in Mumbai's Worli area. Also, Shahid Kapoor reportedly bought the house in the same building for Rs 56 crores for his apartment and Akshay Kumar bought it for Rs 52.5 crores.

    Shahid Kapoor and their wife Mira Kapoor also often visit the site these days to look after the construction work. She recently also posted a video in which she checked out tiles that were laid out on the floor. Their apartment is on the 42nd and 43rd floors of the high rise.

    Recently, other actors who made property purchases are Rani Mukerji and Disha Patani. 

    Rani Mukerji has recently bought a new house in Mumbai’s Khar area. After buying this new plush property, Rani is now a neighbor to Disha Patani, Tiger Shroff, and cricketers Hardik and Kunal Pandya.
    Rani has bought a 4+3 BHK apartment in a gated community which is apparently becoming a celebrity hub. The property was registered last month and has an unhampered view of the sea.
    Rani’s flat is part of a 22-storey high rise and is a 3545 sq ft 4+3 bhk apartment with an alluring sea view.
    According to reports, it is priced at Rs 7.12 crores and the building has amenities such as multiple car parking, an outdoor fitness station, an artificial rock-climbing area, and a star gazing deck.

    So when the 29-year-old finally reached the 100-run mark and celebrated a much-awaited century, one of his biggest admirers, Suniel Shetty shared a video from his Instagram account, not only congratulating him but also thanking him for a great birthday gift.

    However, once Sharma was dismissed, Rahul took command of the steering wheel, building his innings alongside the skipper, Virat Kohli, and joining forces for a stunning 117-run partnership, before Kohli poked Ollie Robinson’s delivery which went into the hands of England captain Joe Root at first slip.
    With Day 2 starting at 3:30 PM IST, Rahul will look to build on his 127-run innings, while hoping to get some support from his vice-captain, Ajinkya Rahane in the middle.

    Continuing with his brilliant form, Indian opener Rohit Sharma played another masterful knock, scoring 83 runs on the opening day of the second Test at Lord's. 
    After winning the toss, England skipper Joe Root asked India to bat as he wanted to make most of the moisture in the pitch and overcast conditions but Indian openers Rohit and KL Rahul foiled their game plan.

    Rohit started watchfully but grew in confidence as the innings progressed and scored runs all over the park. 

    Rohit has been batting well, both home and overseas, for quite some time now but always managed to lose his wicket. Breaking that trend, he scored his first half-century of the series and was looking determined more than ever to convert his start into a big score, reach the three-figure mark, something which he hasn’t been able to achieve outside of India.

    A batsman needs to have luck on his side to score big runs in cricket, they say. Even Rohit rode his luck early on in his innings when a couple of inside edges missed the stumps by a whisker while the outside edges didn’t carry to the slip cordon.

    It seemed as if the ‘Hitman’ was ready to make history at Lord’s. He was on the verge of becoming the first Indian opener to register his name in the Lord’s Honours board in over a decade.
    While it’s hard to quantify the amount of pain a heartbreak causes, Indian supporters felt that pain when Rohit, despite batting magnificently for close to 25 overs, missed out of an opportunity to score his maiden ton overseas, falling short of the three-figure mark by 17 runs.

    James Anderson bowled a beautiful in-swinger, which Rohit failed to defend, and it went through the gate and crashed onto his stumps, giving England their first breakthrough. 
    The bowler deserves all the praise for executing his skills to perfection and creating doubt in the batsman's mind. But finding an excuse is what Indian supporters are best at, so they blamed the commentators’ curse for Rohit’s dismissal. 
    He does what was expected of him when was brought in this session. I am talking of Sanjay Manjrekar.
    He came, he talked up Rohit in ways that were uneasy, and eventually delivered the commentator's curse.

Sanjay Manjrekar, who was commentating on the game sitting in a studio in Mumbai miles away from the venue, is what led to Rohit’s dismissal, after all, he holds the unnatural power of jinxing anything. 
    They argued that Rohit was in firm control before Majrekar started praising his knock and they knew what was coming. 
    These are the very people who don’t have a clue of their own future but they predicted Rohit’s future beforehand. How stupid is that?

    Playing the blame game and pointing fingers at someone is the easiest thing to do in this world. We all have to accept that it just wasn’t Rohit’s day and the kind of form he is in right now, it’s just a matter of time that he scored his maiden Test ton on foreign soil. 

    As far as his wicket is concerned, if Manjrekar really had such jinxing power, don’t you think oppositions would be flocking his doors to acquire his services whenever they played against India or any country for that matter.

    To some extent, analysts like Manjrekar have played a major role in popularising this term ‘commentators’ curse’ as they repeat it again and again while on-air whenever a player is about to reach a milestone. For me, they are equal culprits.

    Actor Kareena Kapoor Khan expressed how meditation helps her take her mind off from the incessant trolling she is facing online.
    The actor recently revealed the name of her second son, Jehangir Ali Khan, in her new book and now people have started trolling her again.
    Kareena and her husband Saif were also trolled in 2016 when they revealed their first son’s name- Taimur Ali Khan.
    She expressed that she has been through similar comments before and only wants to spread positivity rather than indulging herself in this.
    In an interview with India Today, she said, “You know I am a very, very positive person. I am very happy and content. I want to spread happiness and positivity in a time like Covid, I can't think of trolls or any form of negativity."

    She further added, “Now there is no other way, I have to start meditating. Because aur koi chaara nahi raha na abhi (I have no other option). That's just now because I am pushed against the wall so now I am like ‘OK, I will stay meditating'. There are two sides to a coin. So it's okay. If there is positivity, there is negativity, I have to look at it like that. I wish there wasn't. Because we have two innocent children we are talking about. But we are going to stay happy and positive.” 
    Recently, actress Swara Bhasker also tweeted about the controversy and said, “A couple has named its children, and that couple isn't you. But you have opinions about the names, and in your mind, this is an issue that has hurt your feelings. You are among the world's biggest donkeys.”

    It wouldn’t be wrong to say that Ajay Devgn is the undisputed king of box office numbers, as all his movies in the recent past have worked wonders. He is known to deliver several blockbusters, which has made him one of the highest-paid actors in Bollywood. For the longest time, many actors and viewers have been measuring a movie’s merit based on the numbers it has scored at the box office but Ajay doesn’t go by this rule book.
    Ajay is gearing up for his movie Bhuj: The Pride Of India, which is releasing today, August 13. While interacting with the media, he was asked to share his views on the box office and if he believes in the numbers game. Ajay didn’t mince his words while responding to it and was brutally honest in this regard. In an instant reaction, he said, "What bullshit! It’s created. It was always created.

    On being further probed if box office numbers matter or have ever affected him, he said, “Do you think it has mattered to me? I’ve never bothered, I’ve never given interviews (about it), I’ve never spoken about it. I’m not scared about it.”

    Day 1 of the second Test between England and India didn’t seem to do any favours for off-form batsman Cheteshwar Pujara who once again had to return back to the pavilion with a disappointing score off his bat.
    Having played 23 deliveries, the one-down batter managed to put up just nine runs on the board before it was the notorious James Anderson who managed to read him like a book and did a two-ball experiment which turned out to be successful.

    On the penultimate ball of the 50th over, Anderson tested the waters with a hefty inswinger which left the batsman startled. Doubtful of what would happen on the next delivery, he makes the mistake of pushing out and giving up an outer edge. Travelling to the third slip and into the very capable hands of Jonny Bairstow, the ball to end Pujara’s innings was delivered.
    This is when the fans of the Indian cricket team and those of the former Indian skipper and red-ball cricket master, Rahul Dravid, hopped on the internet to put an end to all the comparisons that take place between Dravid and Pujara.
    It seems like Pujara was never a good technical batter like Dravid. He just knows how to block the balls which can be easily driven for four.

    Ever since India won the incredible Test series in Australia - a series Pujara continues to consider one of his finest tours in International cricket, his performance with the bat has been subpar.
    Following the disappointment Pujara brought to the team during the World Test Championship finals, his position in the Playing XI became a major talking point, especially after skipper Virat Kohli spoke about bringing an overhaul to the team and bringing in people with the right attitude.

    “You have to reassess and replan and understand what dynamics work for the team and how we can be fearless. Bring in right people who have right mindset to perform,” Kohli had said after losing the WTC final to New Zealand. 
    “We definitely need to work out better plans on understanding how to score runs. We have to stay in sync with the momentum of the game and not let the game drift away too much. I don’t think there are any technical difficulties as such,” he asserted.
