Weβve all been here before.Β
All those nights of doom scrolling, binge watching and eating finally led you to crack. For some reason, late night guilt has this strange ability to inspire working out again. But you haven't been able to, no matter how hard you tried. It gets frustrating and demotivating till it ends up becoming another vicious cycle for us to add to our laundry list of things to feel guilty about. From trying the latest fads to the trendiest diets, we try everything to get back on track.
But it isnβt easy, is it?Β
We often get ahead of ourselves in the process of returning to working out. If youβre like me, chances are youβve been on and off the fitness bandwagon ever since the pandemic hit. Probably even before that. I tried my first workout after several months and it was excruciating to say the least. More often than not I found myself huffing and panting away at the slightest of movements. Lying miserable in a pool of sweat, cursing myself for trying to workout.Β
I wondered why returning to working out after a break sucked so much.
1. Body Is Weaker Than You Remember
It didnβt always hurt this bad. Squats, pullups and pushups used to be my bread and butter, easily breezing through several sets with ease. But now, I can barely make my way through what used to be my warmup. Almost as if my body was hell bent on finding a new way to hurt with every movement I did.

2. Stressed About Returning To Workout
Sometimes itβs not the workout that kills you, but the thoughts that you keep you from it. Iβve noticed myself getting stressed out by thoughts of having to work out again. It becomes a loop of thoughts where Iβm stressed about working out but Iβm also not working out because Iβm stressed. Itβs important to remember that the first few days will provide you the momentum to stick to your commitment.

3. Doesnβt Feel The Same
When youβve seen yourself at what you consider your βpeakβ, all other versions seem to fail. To the extent that we curse ourselves for whatever weβre able to do despite not having worked out in ages. It's such an unfortunate way of thinking that many of us fall prey to. I'm guilty of it as well. Instead of motivating us to our end goal, such thoughts can often prevent us from persisting with our workouts and make us feel even worse. Youβre valid at all shapes and stages of your fitness journey.Β

4. Improper Nutrition
Those late night food orders come at a price, especially if cheat days become a daily occurrence. Constantly eating junk foods leaves me feeling lethargic and bloated. A diet of fast food is poor fuel for our bodies to work with, and your first day back is going to be a reality check for you.Β Β

5. Unfair Targets
More than anything else, weβve to be true to ourselves and be realistic about our goals with fitness. For most people, looking like a member of the Avengers cast might be a dream, but itβs not realistically achievable for most ordinary people. These celebrities are actors who are paid to look the part of a superhero, which is why many celebrities often lose that body mass when theyβre not shooting. Set kinder, more realistic expectations with yourself, and revisit them to ensure youβre on track.Β

Fitness is a lifestyle. And itβs one that you can curate to your best interests. So find your own fitness goals and set them so that you can have a healthier and easier relationship with yourself.

Long before the capital was brimming with eateries and malls even came into existence, the crΓ¨me de la crΓ¨me, the college going crowd, lovers bunking classes together and friends reuniting to spend their saved pocket money on an expensive meal, all knocked door at the iconic All American Diner located at the India Habitat Centre. All the 90βs kids who grew up watching sitcoms, reading Archies and English movies brought their dream of dining at a booth in an American restaurant alive here as the interior mirrored how American cafes look like.
Β© Twitter
Sadly, the piece of nostalgia which is a part of everyoneβs life in Delhi shut down its doors permanently to pave way for a reincarnated version called Habitat Hub. When the piece of news floated on the internet like fire last evening, people couldnβt stop expressing their displeasure and sadness.
Naturally, there was a virtual reunion where everyone started sharing their memories attached to this iconic place which was more than a restaurant serving dollops of ice-cream on a shake glass or oversized hotdogs, which were what carb dreams are made of.
Breakfast dates will never mean the same #AllAmericanDiner https://t.co/wW0j6GsLXM

The All American Diner is now Habitat Hub.
End of an era!
pic.twitter.com/wYhXbWvuJK
β Nikhil Chawla (@nikhilchawla) July 18, 2021EXACTLY what I am trying to say!
When I lived in Delhi, going to the All American Diner basically meant a peek into the "American life" measured in pancakes, OJ, and red barstools. Now that I live here, find the syrup too syrupy and the stack too high, AAD remains a part of the vision of life I though I'd build
β Bedatri D Choudhury (@Bedatri) July 18, 2021The sadness at All American Diner shutting down despite the food quality dropping and the prices rising, tells you there's something unsaid about why you love a place, thing or person.
(Me as a therapist, mayybe)
β Vikramjit Singh (@Vikramjit_S) July 19, 2021While the millennial Delhi crowd has been whining about how it is the end of an era, there are some people who probably NEVER got to go there but are still mad that itβs shut. That explains how culturally inherent it was in our lives while living in Delhi..
never got the chance to go to The All American Diner, the angrez in me always wanted to :(
β Pallavi Bhatia (@pallaviibhatia) July 18, 2021all american diner is closing i always wanted to go there it looked so pretty in pictures i blame my parents for never letting me go anywhere
β celeste (@nob0dynocrime) July 19, 2021The place was a go-to place for anyone craving an all-day breakfast menu, when OJ and maple syrup on waffles was something we only imagined while eating Malpua at home. Even though it's revamped, the memories, the nostalgia surrounding those dimly lit booths and bar stools will never be the same for a Dilliwala. Do you have a memory attached to this place? Share with us!Β

Indian Cinema has given us various types of movies. But a film about zombies like that of Go Goa Gone came as a surprise to everyone.Β
While we are familiar with the same old, white-faced ghosts, this movie, on the other hand, was quite entertaining and satisfying with its ridiculous slapstick humour.
Β© Instagram/Saif_FC
Saif Ali Khan's acting in the movie was highly lauded. There isn't much of a story initially, but as soon as the three friends set foot in Goa, everything around changes.Β
Saif makes an appearance late in the movie as a Russian mafia named Borris. His character wears wacky clothes, and the hair is dyed blonde, which Saif essayed spectacularly.
Β© Instagram/Saif_FC
Co-creator of the Family Man, Krishna DK, unveiled in an interview that it wasn't tough to convince Saif for the role for the 2013 Zombie movie.Β
Saif liked his character so much that he had an expletive-filled reaction to it while discussing the script.
Β© Instagram/Saif_FC
In Sourabh Pant's podcast, Krishna DK also added that he didn't even have to convince Shahid Kapoor and Manoj Bajpayee for their roles on Amazon Prime projects. Krishna has been working with his creative partner Raj Nidimoru for quite a long now, and they are known as Raj and DK together.
During the podcast, he said, "Go Goa Gone, we had Kunal in mind right from the get-go. And for the role of Saif, we only had to meet him once. And we met him once, gave him the basic idea, and he heard it, and he said, 'Yeh to ch******a hai, Mujhe Karna hai.'
He further added that it was effortless for them to convince him.

Go Goa Gone had a stellar cast including, Kunal Kemmu, Vir Das and Anand Tiwari. The sequel for the movie was announced last year by Dinesh Vijan.Β
He said, "The team of Roohi is writing the sequel. The writer came up with the idea, and I loved it, and then we developed it. Eros said let's announce it and we did. We just need to give every actor, who was there in the first part, a little more like a 2.0 version and bring something new."

He also added that it wouldn't have the zombie element, but the emotions and comic timing for the movie would remain the same.
We can't wait to watch the next masterpiece!

After conquering Bollywood, Priyanka Chopra set out to make a splash in Hollywood as well by starring in several TV shows and movies, like Quantico and Baywatch. But, apart from that, the fabulous actress is also a singer, writer and is known for her philanthropic endeavours.

Priyanka then married Nick Jonas in 2018, and the couple has completed almost three years together.Β
They know how to live a lavish, king-size life. Take their Los Angeles house, for example, which's worth Rs 144 Crores or Priyanka's engagement ring that costs Rs 1.4 Crores. Everything is as expensive as it can get!
Β© Instagram/Priyanka Chopra Jonas
Recently, Priyanka celebrated her 39th birthday on July 18th, and while it's pretty evident that she might have received a whole lot of ostentatious gifts, the most expensive one was from her husband, Nick.

Priyanka received a wine bottle from Nick that can easily burn a big moon-sized hole in our pockets as it's worth Rs 131,375 for a 750 ml bottle. As for the details, Priyanka, who is currently in London, received Nick's 1982, Chateau Mouton Rothschild wine bottle.
She took to Instagram and shared the image on her story, as she wrote, love you, @nickjonas.

Nick clearly went all out to gift his lady love this beautiful wine bottle on her special day. He also shared a childhood photo of hers and wrote, "Happy birthday my love. You deserve all the happiness in the world. Today and every day. I love you."

For the unversed, 1982 Chateau Mouton Rothschild is a super rare wine. Made in the northwest of Bordeaux, France, the bottle costs anywhere between 10,000 to 13,000 British pounds. It's also hardly available for sale and is usually found in auctions.

Priyanka has received many other expensive and thoughtful gifts from Nick. The engagement ring also had a story wherein Nick shut down an entire Tiffany's store to buy the unique ring for Priyanka. The couple got married on December 2, 2018.
On the work front, Priyanka is currently in London preparing for her next project, Citadel. However, she is yet to announce her next Hindi movie.

The fastest internet speed in the world was surpassed by Japanβs National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT). It is now the fastest internet speed ever recorded where the NICT achieved 319 terabits per second. The previous record of 178 Tb/s was set a year ago.Β
The speed was registered using many fiber optics that had a lot of cladding or coating to safeguard the data with. This was achieved thanks to a combination of rare earth minerals, and a fancy new laser system that worked in tandem with the new kind of optic cable.Β
Β© unsplash
The NICT used an experimental strand of fiber optic cable that had four cores which were contained in a cable. This cable was about the same size as a regular fiber optic line.Β
βThe 4-core [multi-core fibers] with standard cladding diameter is attractive for early adoption of [space division multiplexing] fibers in high-throughput, long-distance links, since it is compatible with conventional cable infrastructure and expected to have mechanical reliability comparable to single-mode fibers,β NICT said in aΒ paperΒ about the experiment.
In order to mimic a transmission distance of 3,001 km, the NICT looped the data via coiled fiber optic bits without any signal or speed loss. The researchers at NICT used a 552-channel comb laser firing at multiple wavelengths and pushed through the amplifiers made of rare earth minerals. This setup does not come cheap and engineers imagined that this technique will be mainly used to send data quickly across vast distances.Β
Β© unsplash
The researchers at the NICT believe that the new 4-core optical fiber cable is the most important breakthrough they have made during this test. NICT says that the new cable can readilyΒ integrate with existing systems to provide significant speed improvements.Β
βThe standard cladding diameter, 4-core optical fiber can be cabled with existing equipment, and it is hoped that such fibers can enable practical high data-rate transmission in the near-term, contributing to the realization of the backbone communications system, necessary for the spread of new communication services Beyond 5G,β they said in their paper.
