Ravindra Jadeja was single handedly responsible for churning out a million emotions out of each and every Team India fan that was watching helplessly as New Zealand inched closer towards becoming the first ever World Test Champions.
On Day 6 of the WTC final, Mohammed Shami was in the middle of the innings’ 23rd over when Black Caps legend Ross Taylor was on strike and powerfully cut the delivery. However the ball raced towards Jadeja, who was standing at gully, while bouncing once before going into his hands.

The India all-rounder, who is also considered to be one of the finest fielders in international cricket threw the ball in the air as soon as he got his hands on it - a common celebration for fielders for when they catch the ball and dismiss a batsman.
For a moment, Southampton’s Ageas Bowl echoed multiple “ooh’s and aah’s” and even the commentators felt that it Taylor would have to walk back to the pavilion. Jadeja however, quickly threw the ball back towards Shami, with a cheeky smile on his face.

All-time great, Sunil Gavskar was in the commentary box alongside Simon Doull and immediately asked whether Jadeja’s theatrics would be considered as “fake fielding”.

“Does it come under fielding? 5 penalty runs?” Gavaskar asked, although in a jovial tone before being quickly and hilarious cut off by Doull stating that even the commentary that they were doing was fake considering even they believed that the Kiwi’s wicket had fallen.
Here’s how the fans reacted to this moment:
Ravi Jadeja faked all cricket fans, I thought it was catch.

    — Awarapan 🇮🇳 (@KingSlayer_Rule) June 23, 2021So did I.

I was so excited that I shouted at loud the my neighbour also felt that India got one more wicket.

Phew... That was nasty by Jadeja.
    — Manish Trivedi (@mnsh_79) June 23, 2021The inaugural edition of the World Test Championships brought sweet redemption to Kane Williamson who was finally able to book an ICC title under his name especially after facing a huge and rather controversial upset back in 2019 when they lost the World Cup against England by 0 runs.
For Virat Kohli, the drought continues as he still remains a title-less captain of the Indian cricket team despite leading the squad in multiple ICC tournaments but struggling to make it through the knockout stages or the finals and bagging an ICC trophy.

Even today when I think of Lucky Ali’s music, my first thought grazes towards him walking in a desert crooning O Sanam. Obviously that video instilled this childhood desire of travelling to Egypt for many of us, but his silky voice, opening your ear drums like never before and staying embedded in memory proves the power of his music.  Most of us had no clue what Indie pop meant as a genre until Lucky Ali cassettes became a part of our lives.

After launching his album in 1996, Lucky made his Bollywood debut as a playback singer with Kaho Na Pyaar Hai and his track Na Tum Jaano Na Hum continues to be one of the best romantic songs of all time.
The gifted genius didn’t stop at just singing for his fans. He also decided to star in a musical which was a very different movie and ahead of its time, if one may call it. Sur had phenomenal success in terms of its music because obviously, Lucky’s magic spread its charm.
A career that’s probably panned across three decades for him, it is a very interesting observation that unlike so many new crop of singers who have a social media fan following of millions, endorse brands, are also at times known to use auto-tune to enhance their music, Lucky is one simple man who is not selling his art at an exhibition of brand endorsements, he’s not laded in clothes showing big labels, but is like a ‘musafir’, a meticulous artist who sings for anyone who wants to listen.

There was a time a few years ago, when we didn’t see him in the music space, there were no announcements, no concerts, no platinum label deals. Basically, if I may say so, any random artist would fear to slip into oblivion. However, Lucky was not baffled or intrigued by this avalanche of artists cropping up, minting moolah and there probably was no fear of being replaced, because how do you replace something that never left?

He’s travelled far enough in the cavity of our hearts, been embedded deep enough in our memories that we all have one Lucky Ali song for some special moment in our lives.
It was not until last year when his good friend Nafisa Ali shared a clip of him on social media, that the viral nature of that video struck us like a thunderbolt of nostalgia. Some reports even rumoured that he is not there in the world anymore, and though it was a nincompoop story, it did upset his fans who waited for him to come back. It's like the hunger of his fans brought him back to social media. He dropped a beautiful rendition of Oh Sanam and that’s all it took for all hearts to melt in puddles of memories, remembering a time long gone.

So how is he relevant in 2021 and he continues to tug at the heart strings of anyone who listens to his magic carefully? Well, he has around 411K followers on Instagram but guess what, his real life following is probably far more than any number that an internet algorithm can brew. He needs no introduction, he needs no reason to be a part of our ‘Safarnama’ because ‘Oh Sanam’, why do we love him so much? Well, ‘Na Tum Jaano Na Hum’.

He might be called Lucky, but his audience is actually luckier!

    Let's be honest, here!

Even though not a lot of us watch the same kind of movies or read the same kind of books, there is something common between us.

Almost all of us enjoy watching or reading stories about mysterious mythological creatures like werewolves, vampires, dragons, and whatnot.

    © Warner Bros
    © Summit Entertainment
You may have seen movies like Harry Potter, Van Helsing, and Twilight to get a slight peek into the lives of these absolutely popular yet dangerous beings. However, if you have the curiosity ka keeda deep inside of you, we know you'd love to know more.

Hence, we have created a list of the top 5 TV shows that will tell you all there is to know about werewolves and vampires.
    1. The Vampire Diaries © Warner Bros
Released in 2009, The Vampire Diaries did not take long to become an absolute fan favorite when it came to TV shows.

While it came around the same time when the Twilight Saga was at its peak, the show did more than enough to hold its own, thanks to its amazingly talented and attractive cast of Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, and the one and only, Ian Somerhalder.
Based on the book by the same name, the TV show is set around the fictional town of Mystic Falls in Virginia that has a history with the supernatural, especially Vampires.
Throughout the six seasons of the show, fans can expect quite an insight on Vampires, werewolves, witches, and otherwordly creatures in a plot that never fails to get interesting.
    2. Teen Wolf © MTV
Well, just when The Vampire Diaries became the go-to show about Vampires, MTV decided that they should try doing something similar (or maybe not) with their natural enemies, werewolves, which led them to come up with Teen Wolf.

The show, loosely based on the 1985 Teen Wolf film starring Michael J. Fox, kicked off in 2011 and went on to stun viewers with a fresh take on werewolves just being ugly, hairy creatures looking for some human flesh on a full moon night.
The story revolves around the life of a young teenager, Scott McCall (Tyler Posey), who gets bitten by a werewolf in his California town of Beacon Hills.
However, all is not bad, as along with the curse of being a werewolf, Scott also gets a bunch of awesome superhuman strengths which he may use to get the girl while also defending his hometown against other menacing werewolves and supernatural elements.
    3. True Blood © HBO
Based on a series of novels called The Southern Vampire Mysteries, True Blood is an absolutely different kind of vampire story set around the fictional rural town of Bon Temps in Louisiana, USA. (I know, everything just happens in America.)

The story revolves around the life of Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin from the X-Men), a telepathic waitress who falls in love with a 173-year-old vampire named Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer).
The plot of the show deals with vampires trying to get used to living amidst human beings, many of whom are unaware of their existence.
However, in order to get the vampires to live in harmony with their food, the Japanese invent Tru Blood, a synthetic blood beverage meant to satiate vampires in order for them to not seek out real human blood.
Yeah, the show is all about how that idea does not always work.
    4. Bitten © Hoodwink Entertainment
Based on the critically acclaimed series of novels by Canadian writer Kelley Armstrong, Bitten is a story about Elena Michaels, a  28-year-old woman who is the world's only female werewolf.

Set in Toronto and New York, Elena is forced to live in a supernatural world she wants no part of and well, she tries doing that by abandoning her wolf pack and fleeing to a new city.
There she lives in disguise, even from her boyfriend. However, things take a turn for the worse when bodies start appearing in the backyard of her pack and she realizes that she has to defend her pack.
    5. Buffy The Vampire Slayer © Mutant Enemy Pictures
One of the most iconic TV shows ever, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, gained immense popularity after it was released in 1997.

Unlike the other concepts that flirt around with the idea of the protagonist falling in love with vampires, this show revolved around Buffy Summers (Gellar) finding her true calling in fighting against evil forces.
Not only that, in order to support her cause, the young Vampire slayer possesses powers like enhanced physical strength, endurance, agility, accelerated healing, and intuition in order to make life a living hell for blood-sucking supernatural creatures in the nearby regions.
