    Kamal Haasan is one of the finest actors that Indian cinema has given us. He is also one of those rare actors who have done movies in several languages in the last three decades. Known for his humanitarian efforts and acting chops, Haasan has earned many praises and millions of fans across the country. The proud owner of the President's Gold Medal for Kalathur Kannamma continues to bowl us over with his acting skills.

    Saketh Ram has been diagnosed with stage 3 brain cancer for a while now. We are all die-hard fans of some celebrity or the other, but thanks to the power of the internet, Saketh's dream to speak to his favourite star, Kamal, came true. For a very long time, he had a wish to speak to his idol.

    After hearing Saketh's story, Kamal decided to arrange a zoom call with his fan. Saketh and all his family members were a part of the video call. Sandhya Vaidyanathan, who arranged the call, took to Instagram and wrote, "AND WE MADE THIS HAPPEN!!! OMG I CANT BELIEVE IT!!!! Saketh's wish was to see @ikamalhaasan and this happened .. I'm so grateful to the team from his office and to everyone who amplified my story and I can't stop crying.. this is epic.. this is what I live for .. to make dreams true.. to help people.. !!!

    As soon as this happened, Kamal's pictures started doing rounds on the internet. Here's how the people on Twitter reacted. The whole family was seen happily interacting with Haasan.

    On the work front, Haasan was last seen in Vishwaroopam 2 in 2018. He will soon commence shooting for Vikram, which Lokesh Kanagaraj will direct. There are also reports that Kamal is keen on another project, Papanasam 2. The movie is directed by Jeethy Joseph.

    Marvel’s Loki is enjoying a massive audience across Disney’s OTT platforms. Therefore, anything that is even remotely related to the miniseries is getting massive responses online. This includes fan theories, easter eggs, and even the smallest of details.

    Well, Marvel recently put out a tweet, in which they revealed a new character in a rather cheeky way. People who are following the miniseries will know that the TVA is actually dealing with a number of Loki’s variants.

    Therefore, fans of the show guessed that the woman in the poster is actually Lady Loki, or the female version of Loki himself. Do remember, that Loki had finally been revealed as gender-fluid right before the miniseries was released.

    The crown that Sophia Di Martino, or the supposed ‘Lady Loki’ is wearing is similar to the one that we have seen Loki wear in The Avengers. The only difference comes in the form of the horns, which, in Di Martino’s case, actually seem molten.

    Eagle-eyed viewers, who actually read the credit scenes will know, that Di Martino is actually playing a character called Sylvie, and not ‘Lady Loki’ as many people claim.

    Chances are, Sylvie is Loki’s sister or daughter. The reason we say that, is because for a brief moment, when Loki was examining the file of a variant, we get to see this.

    In certain Nordic countries, especially Iceland, the suffix ‘dottir’ is used in the surname for a daughter, whereas the suffix ‘son’ is used in the name of a son. Therefore, the son of Laufey becomes Laufeyson, which is Loki’s surname, and the daughter of Laufey becomes Laufeydottir. If this principle has been followed here, Sylvie may very well be Loki’s biological sister.

    Another fan theory that is getting equal attention, if not more, is that Sylvie, is actually Sylvie Lushton, The Enchantress from the comic books.

    Now, Sylvie Lushton, in the comic books, is a regular girl in Oklahoma, up until the Asgardians set up New Asgard in the state. In the comics, Loki gives Sylvie some of his powers to her, which Sylvie is initially unaware of. The reason? Well, he just wanted to see what chaos would ensue.

    It will be really interesting to see, what Marvel Cinema does with Sylvie first in Loki, and then in Thor: Love & Thunder.

    The unheard and unknown story of Tapan Das who was the man behind getting independent India its first gold medal in the 1948 Summer Olympics. Akshay Kumar plays Das, assistant manager of India's first national hockey team. Kunal Kapoor plays the captain, Samrat.

    Priyanka Chopra plays the titular role of boxing champion Mary Kom, who hails from a small town in Manipur. She fights her ex-wrestler father and societal norms set for a girl to emerge as a winner at 2012 Summer Olympics against all odds. Mary Kom has also been named as the female representative for the boxing's athlete ambassadors group for the upcoming Tokyo Olympics.

    The only fiction film in this list is Salman Khan’s Sultan. Although it’s sad that no movie has been made on the real-life wrestlers who won a medal at the Olympics (Sakshi Malik or Yogeshwar Dutt), the story of Sultan does capture how the desi pehelwans compete, in the beloved sport in North India, at an international level.

    The ‘Flying Sikh’ of India, Milkha Singh who took his last breath a few days ago, is played by Farhan Akhtar in his biopic Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. The plot revolves around Singh’s journey of becoming a world renowned sprinter and an Olympian despite the financial and social obstacles.

    The life of a small-town girl from Haryana who went on to become the first Indian badminton player to have won an Olympic medal is told in the biopic. Parineeti Chopra plays Saina Nehwal who won a bronze in women's singles tournament at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

    The World Test Championship final has entered its last day of action but even after days of intense battle between India and New Zealand, it’s hard to separate the two sides. After playing a gritty knock in the first innings, Kohli also produced a captaincy masterclass as Indian bowlers pulled things back on the fifth day.

    Apart from his batting and captaincy, Kohli also led the charge for his side by constantly chirping from behind the wickets to foil the concentration of the Kiwis.

    On the third day, the overcast conditions had made it difficult for the batsmen to find their feet. New Zealand opener Tom Latham was up against Jasprit Bumrah in the fourth over of the innings. He had played two dot balls and was batting with utmost caution.
     Kohli, fielding in the slip cordon, decided to mess up with his mind and said: "He got no idea Jas [Bumrah], You’re all over him buddy, You can make him up there as well, He knows he’s not getting it on the bat, boys”.
    Despite Kohli’s sledging, Latham kept his cool and went on to play 104 deliveries for his 30 runs.

    Kohli, known for his on-field aggression, was involved in a heated exchange with Australia Test skipper Tim Paine during the 2018 tour.
    The Australians, playing without two of their best batsmen Steve Smith and David Warner,  had lost the first match in Adelaide and were on the backfoot in the four-Test series.
    Both teams travelled to Perth for the second match where both the skippers came face to face on the penultimate day.

    Actor Avika Gor recently reacted to link-up rumors with former co-star Manish Raisinghan and said that she was extremely affected by these rumors in the past. Now, Manish Raisinghan has spoken up about linkup rumors with Avika Gor. They worked together in the television serial Sasural Simar Ka. 

    Avika said in a recent interview that it was being speculated that they have a secret child together. Manish has now called the rumor absurd and said that he laughed about this with his wife, Sangeita. 
    He also pointed at the fact that he is 18 years older than Avika Gor who gained fame as a child actor in Balika Vadhu.

    He added, "Avika will always be a close friend. She is in a happy relationship now with Milind Chandwani and it has been more than a year since I got married in June 2020. Sangeita and I laughed about these rumours."
    Avika was recently asked if she ever dated Manish, to which she responded, "It's impossible! No way! There were articles like humne bachcha chhupa ke rakha hai (we have a secret child). We are very close, even now. He'll always have a very space in my life. In my journey from the age of 13 till now, he has been the closest friend that I've ever had."

    After losing on a few projects, Kartik Aaryan is back even stronger and has announced his forthcoming film titled 'Satyanarayan Ki Katha'. The film is being directed by National award-winning director Sameer Vidwans under Namah Pictures and Sajid Nadiadwala's banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
    He shared the teaser on his social media pages and wrote, “A story close to my heart #SatyanarayanKiKatha. A special film with special people. #SajidNadiadwala @sameervidwans @shareenmantri @arora.kishor  @wardakhannadiadwala @karandontsharma @nadiadwalagrandson @namahpictures #SNKK."

    After he shared the teaser, people started trending Kartik on Twitter and started to celebrate his upcoming movie. People had goosebumps after seeing the teaser and have already declared it a blockbuster. Some even bashed Dharma Productions and said that he is unstoppable. They are excited to see Kartik’s journey and him growing with each passing day.

    Speaking about the film Kartik Aaryan says in a statement, "I have been wanting to work with Sajid sir for some time now, I couldn’t have asked for better collaboration. I’m extremely happy that I am a part of Sajid Sir, Shareen, and Kishor’s vision. Satyanarayan Ki Katha is a musical love saga that brings together a powerhouse of people who are National award-winning names. It’s also a first for me with Sameer Vidwans sir who has an astute sense of making sensitive topics highly entertaining."
    “Honestly, I feel immense pressure and responsibility, since I am the only member in this team without a National award," adds Kartik.
    Sajid adds that the film has been a 'visionary' project for him. "This will be our first time working with Kartik, and he brings new energy to the project. Through Satyanarayan Ki Katha, we are looking forward to bringing the ultimate love story to the audience.”
    Satyanarayan Ki Katha will go on floors towards the end of this year and will hit theatres in 2022.
    For the unversed, the film's director Sameer Vidwans and producers Sajid Nadiadwala and Namah Pictures won a National Award for their films Anandi Gopal and Chhichhore, respectively in 2019.
