Even though we don't get to see much of Sunny Deol these days, his work in Indian Cinema has been etched in our hearts.
Referred to as Bollywood's 'angry action man', Sunny carved a niche for himself in the action-drama arena back in the days and left no stone unturned with his acting skills.

Although he is often shown with a tetchy disposition on-screen, it's his naive nature that melts our hearts.

Apart from his glorious career in Bollywood, even his dialogues are evergreen, not just in the industry but even we have used them at some point in our lives.
As today marks 20 years of Gadar, let's take a look at these 8 iconic dialogues of Sunny from various movies:
    1. Damini © BCCL
Sunny had some hard-hitting dialogues in Damini but the two that stood out were, "Yeh dhai kilo ka haath jab kisipe padtha hai na, toh aadmi uth-ta nahi uthh jaata hai." Uff, we can feel the weight.

The dialogue became more popular than the movie.
And, then,"Tareekh pe tareekh, tareekh pe tareekh, tareekh pe tareekh milti gayi My Lord, Per insaaf nahi mila!". Talk about iconic, right?
    2. Gadar: Ek Prem Katha © Zee Studios
Gadar reflected Sunny's patriotic side and proved that he is made for such movies.

The dialogue that made waves was, "Agar aapka Pakistan zindabad hai toh isme humein koi aitraaz nahi lekin hamara Hindustan zindabad tha, zindabad hai aur zindabad rahega.”
    3. Yamla Pagla Deewana
One of Sunny's funniest movies, Yamla Pagla Deewana also had some rib-tickling dialogues. "Jatt risky after balti bhar whiskey".
    I mean lame, but cute!
    4. Jeet © Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment
Jeet is an action thriller movie in which Sunny starred opposite Karisma Kapoor and Salman Khan.

While the movie garnered positive reviews, we actually became a huge fan of Sunny's dialogue, "Patharon ki is duniya mein devta banna toh bahut aasaan hai Insaan banna bahut mushkil." Itna gussa!
    5. Ghatak © Santoshi Productions
Ghatak was Sunny's well-acclaimed movie in which he delivered some deadly dialogues.

"Yeh mazdoor ka haath hai, loha pighlakar uska aakar badal deta hai."
    Reminds us of Rajinikanth.
    6. Ghayal © Vijayta Films
"Utaar ke phenk do ye wardi aur pehen lo Balwant Rai ke naam ka patta apne gale mein...Balwant Rai ke kutton." No doubt, this one is an unforgettable dialogue.

It's even hard to imagine someone else saying it. Hmm...
    7. Jo Bole So Nihaal
The list would be incomplete without the scene in Jo Bole So Nihal where Sunny says, No if, no but, sirf jatt! Hahaha.

OnePlus is trying its hand at budget smartphones for the second time with the Nord CE, which I’ve been using for quite some time.
While the phone does get everything right on paper, the story is a little different when you consider the overall Indian smartphone market. The successor to the first Nord isn’t really an upgrade that users would be willing to spend on. It’s more of the same by OnePlus which may impress first-time buyers but raise even more doubt amongst customers who look at other choices.
Here’s what I think about the OnePlus Nord CE after using it for over ten days:
Design and Display  © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
When you hold the Nord CE, you will first doubt that it’s even a OnePlus phone. That’s because the device is lighter than its predecessor and uses a body that would find on smartphones priced half the value. The polycarbonate body on the OnePlus Nord CE isn’t of the best quality and can easily break if dropped from a waist-level height.

Staple OnePlus features like the notification slider are missing while it does come with a 3.5mm headphone jack. It really is a stripped out version of a OnePlus smartphone that only offers the ‘Core Experience’. I still prefer last year’s OnePlus Nord simply because it was a cheaper device that retained OnePlus’ identity. However in CE’s case; I cannot say the same.
    © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
The OnePlus Nord comes with a 6.4-inch Fluid AMOLED display that is roughly the same panel as its predecessor. At least in the display department OnePlus did not sacrifice the quality as the panel presented a vivid, colourful and sharp image. While it’s not on the same level as OnePlus flagship phones, it’s still amongst the best you will find in a smartphone that costs between Rs 20,000 - Rs 30,000.

The display also supports a 90Hz refresh rate which works exactly as it would on the flagship devices. The overall experience was ultra-smooth where animations were snappy and I did not notice any stuttering or throttling. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the display which is a huge contrast to how I feel about the rest of the phone.
CamerasThe OnePlus Nord CE’s camera is not entirely what I expected. The image quality from the smartphone at times looked great while other times it didn’t really live up to OnePlus’ own standards. There were instances where images had white balancing issues even after an update that was said to fix it. The CE comes with a 64MP primary sensor ultra-wide sensor that has a field of view of 119-degrees and a mono lens.
    © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
The camera also struggled to focus on objects especially in low light which made it unusable most of the time. In daylight, the Nord CE camera does take good images but it’s nothing that would command a price tag the Nord CE wants to.

I’ve used cheaper budget smartphones by Xiaomi, Poco and other companies that do a better job than the Nord CE. In my honest opinion, OnePlus really needs to work on the camera app and improve its imaging quality for more consistent quality.
As of now, the 64MP does not deliver quality images which may change in the future, if OnePlus fixes the camera app via updates.
    © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
The OnePlus Nord CE also supports NightScape photography which works better than it did on its predecessor. It’s not at par with the OnePlus 9 series which was expected since the Nord CE is OnePlus’ budget offering for 2021. Having said that, there is still room for improvement and to bring it to par with other smartphones in the same price category.

Here are some camera samples from the OnePlus Nord CE for your reference.
Performance and Battery Life The Nord CE is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G chipset that isn’t much of an upgrade from last year’s Nord’s hardware. The 750G in almost every scene is not even a significant upgrade from Nord’s Snapdragon 765G SoC. The 750G has a lower clock speed and does not offer a significant improvement in GPU performance. In fact, in games like Genshin Impact, Free Fire and other competitive games, there’s an overall gain of only 1 FPS.
Having said that, the 750G does have better CPU performance which resulted in the Nord giving a Geekbench 5 result of 638 (single-core) and 1735 (multi-core).
    © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla
In terms of real-life usage, the OnePlus Nord CE works like a charm and does not falter when doing daily tasks. The phone rarely throttles and I did not notice any app crashes during my usage. For an average user, the OnePlus Nord CE does everything you expect it to do.

In gaming, even though there isn’t a significant performance gain, it still manages to run most games smoothly with less frequent frame rate drops. However, I do recommend running competitive games in medium settings to conserve battery life and get good frames.
The OnePlus Nord CE comes with a 4,500 mAh battery that can get fully charged in under an hour as it supports Warp Charge 30T. In my usage, the smartphone lasted well over an entire day with moderate usage however it is necessary to point out that I’m stuck at home connected to Wi-Fi. There will be a little drop in battery life when used with a mobile network.
Software: OxygenOS 11 The Nord CE ships with OxygenOS 11 out of the box which has almost all of your favourite features from the main flagship phones. Features such as Zen Mode, AOD, Reading Mode and other features make a return. It also has all of the customisation options intact and offers the full experience you want from a OnePlus device.
The Final Say The OnePlus Nord CE is a cheaper version of a device that already exists. In fact, the company has not lived up to its name and instead delivered a smartphone that does not represent the brand well. The build quality is cheaper than its predecessor and it doesn’t offer any significant upgrades either.
If you are willing to spend a bit extra, you’re better off getting last year’s OnePlus Nord instead of the CE. If you are a first-time buyer who isn’t looking to spend too much, the Nord CE is a great starting point for Rs 22,999.

Celebrities who make fashion relatable are sometimes rare in the industry.

There are several actors who have time and again stepped out wearing clothes that make us scratch our heads. For example, when Ranveer Singh wore pants that looked like denim curtains. I mean no one comes close to what he can do in the fashion department.
But on the other hand, we have Ali Fazal, who knows how to pull off ensembles that even regular folks like us can try out. That's just his calibre.

After giving a stellar performance in Mirzapur, the actor has often piqued our interest with his style statement as well. He went from decking up in classic silhouettes to wearing super comfortable joggers, shorts and chappals.

The pandemic also might have influenced his wardrobe. No matter what the reason is, he still manages to turn heads.
He was recently seen stepping out of a store in Mumbai. We have often seen our Guddu Bhaiya wear chappals but in rare moments, he also wears some eccentric pair of shoes. This appearance was one such event.
    Take a look.
    © ASICS
Ali is wearing Asics Dynablast sneakers. These come in gradient blue colourway and are made with a light, breathable upper that wraps well and gives a sock-like feel.

Moreover, these trainers bring an energetic ride to your feet. The grippy rubber tread adds to the traction and these are finished with Asics branding.
    © ASICS
If you are wondering how much money you would have to spend on these shoes, these are for Rs 9,787. If you think about it, this isn't such a bad deal and can be a good call for your workout sesh.

    © Viral Bhayani
We also like the way Ali was dressed for the casual outing. Firstly, his #Nomad T-shirt is a versatile addition. You also can't miss the way he has worn the upper with shorts.

The compressed tights below also look pretty dope. Overall, we think the outfit screams athleisure and it's a subtle workout choice that Ali has gone for. To make it stand out, the sunglasses are a perfect accessory here.

In all, this is one heck of an example that we can try out too but we hope to see more of Guddu Bhaiya style.

If you're familiar with the legacy of the genius that Mr Satyajit Ray was, you'd agree that no introduction would do justice to the sheer talent that he embodied. Right from being one of the greatest film directors of all time, to being one of the most underrated writers ever, to being a supremely talented painter, there is nothing creative or artistic that this man was incapable of doing.

    via GIPHY
However, because of his indisputable greatness, no one perhaps thought of looking at the superficial, which honestly is noteworthy. Mr Ray, without a shred of doubt, was a bona fide style God who was handsome enough to play the 'hero' in all his films. As if his presence itself wasn't charismatic and magnetic enough, he stood tall at a height of more than 6 feet 3 inches, dwarfing everyone else around in the set. Here are 10 rare pictures that prove the same.
Let us start with a rare picture of his youth. This originally was a black and white picture that has been colorized.
View this post on InstagramThis picture is from 1992, the same year he received the Academy Honorary Award. This was his last DD interview, with Sharmila Tagore.
View this post on InstagramThat gaze and that grace! Just leaving this here.
View this post on InstagramHere is another picture from when he was young, from 1935 to be precise. Like they say, some people are just born with it.
View this post on InstagramNo one knew or used words such as 'swag' back then, but look!
View this post on InstagramAnother one. No one really knew what 'being cool' meant back in the day, but he embodied it, and how!
View this post on InstagramWhich director dresses like this anymore during shoot? It takes real class, something that unfortunately seems to be a thing of the bygone era now.
View this post on InstagramHear us out, could he really not have played James Bond or Sherlock Holmes? Fun Fact: The famous 'Feluda' is based on Sherlock Holmes, and for anyone who has read the original books and seen his artwork, it will be evident that he perhaps had used himself as an inspiration for how the character should look like, and for good reason.

Who else could pull off a suit like that? He wasn't even on a ramp but might as well have been.
View this post on InstagramIf something like this came out today, Coke would've legit used this very image as a viral ad.

And a final one, with the 'Mahanayak' of Bengali cinema, Uttam Kumar. For someone who's not familiar with the legends, it would be a task guessing who's the director and who's the actor.

We continue being in awe of everything that this man was about, and it's safe to say that will never change.

In a very ‘filmy’ twist in the tale, the long storyline of the famous ‘Baba ka dhaba’ plot which kept us busy last year has come to an end (hopefully).

After accusing YouTuber Gaurav Wasan of duping and cheating the owners on the name of raising funds for helping them, the husband-wife duo had opened their own restaurant in Malviya Nagar back in December last year.
After that turned into a flop business, they have now taken a u-turn and like a ‘saas-bahu’ saga straight from a TV channel, the owner issued an apology to Gaurav, stating that he never cheated them. They finally reunited like ‘Karan-Arjun’ and the video went viral, because obviously, at this point of time, we all are invested in this story and the nation wants to know what happened.
All is well that ends well. Galti karne se bada, galti maaf karne wala hota he (Mere Maa Baap ne hamesha yehi seekh di he ) #BABAKADHABA pic.twitter.com/u6404OBlnn

    — Yuvraj Pratap Rao 🇮🇳 (@yuvrajuv444) June 14, 2021Gaurav once again won a lot of hearts for being a man with a big heart himself, and publicly accepting the apology and clearing the air around this controversial issue. While I am assuming his fan following and his YouTube channel will gain more stardom and clicks and likes will rain in abundance for him, people on the internet were slightly baffled and this reunion actually turned into a meme fest for so many random users who decided to share their two cents around this new ‘kahani’.
#BABAKADHABA again trending due to YouTuber Gaurav Wasan.....

Even though everyone is hooting about how ‘karma’ hit back at the aged couple and some maintain that they were simply ‘brainwashed’, here’s hoping that peace will prevail so that tomorrow when someone like Gaurav tries to help someone like this ‘baba ka dhaba’ owner, we allow humanity to exist and help someone instead of turning it into a plot of a Bollywood movie.

It has been a year since we lost Sushant Singh Rajput but his loss is still felt every day by his fans and admirers.

It’s still very hard to believe and come to terms with the fact that he will no more be available for the people who genuinely adored him. His friends and family are still finding it hard to deal with this irreparable loss.
Before he entered Bollywood and showed his enigmatic charm in movies like MS: Dhoni The Untold Story and Chhichhore, he ruled on Television.
He entered the television industry with Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil but his big break was bagging the lead role in Pavitra Rishta, a love story between Manav Deshmukh (Sushant Singh Rajput) and Archana Karanjkar (Ankita Lokhande).
Manav worked as a mechanic to support his family while Archana was a dedicated daughter to her family.

While it’s hard to even imagine anyone stepping into the shoes of Manav, reports are emerging suggesting that the show is back with a second season.
According to reports, the concept of the show has been locked and the producer, Ekta Kapoor is finalizing the cast.
“Shaheer Sheikh has come on board Pavitra Rishta 2.0 to portray the iconic character of Manav. Ankita will be back to play Archana again after 7 long years. The other cast members will be locked soon,” a source close to the development told Pinkvilla.
    View this post on Instagram
However, some people aren’t appreciating the fact that any other actor could possibly play Manav.
Ardent fans of the show are calling on the makers to not play with their emotions as for them, Manav is and will always be Sushant.
Some even went on to say that the makers are cashing in on Sushant’s death for TRPs and even want to boycott the second season.

Amit Sarin, who shared the screen with SSR in Pavitra Rishta, also somewhere echoes the same thoughts and he too believes that it’s hard to imagine someone else as Manav.

In an interview, Amit said, “It is so hard. He gave life to that character. He was Manav in every sense of the term. So, obviously, it will be difficult to imagine Pavitra Rishta without Sushant. But I guess we need to move on”.

Today marks the three-year anniversary of the day the Afghanistan cricket team participated in their first-ever international Test series against an Ajinkya Rahane-led Indian cricket team at Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium back in 2018.
And while the touring squad had a decent first outing, the biggest highlight of the game came during the award distribution ceremony, when the Indian skipper went out of his way to bring the entire Afghanistani team center stage and celebrate the victory with them.
    Cricket Creates Character

Moments like these make us so very proud of being in love with our game.

Such gestures will always keep our belief in the power of Sports.@ajinkyarahane88, 🇮🇳 & 🇦🇫 gave us a presentation for a lifetime#OTD Bengaluru '18pic.twitter.com/Rq0wmzicJq
    — North Stand Gang - Wankhede (@NorthStandGang) June 15, 2021
While it was a cricket match, that one gesture by our red-ball captain back then had shown why it meant so much more than just another competition. The smile on the faces of the then Afghan skipper Asghar Afghan and the rest of his roster showed what the true essence of that contest was - it was the spirit of the game.
Shikhar Dhawan, with his 107 run innings off just 96 deliveries earned the title of the Player of the Match, while his opening batting partner, Murali Vijay also struck a ton (105 off 156 balls) to become a close second of the award. Ravichandran Ashwin was as dominating as ever with the ball as he took four wickets while giving away just 27 runs in 8 overs.

“I have always believed winning and losing is part and parcel [of the game],” Rahane said after defeating the debutantes by an innings and 262 runs. “Your effort, attitude, and intention should always be about winning, but you get to learn plenty off the field as players, like respecting each other.”
“We learnt a lot [by playing Afghanistan]. Apart from that we got to see good relationships, their players were asking Indian players … the willingness to learn could be seen, they wanted to know what they need to learn to do well in Tests,” he added. “Winning and losing is not the only important thing, what you learn on and off the field is very important.”

And sure enough, the strides that team has made since then while producing some of the most desired athletes in franchise cricket with the likes of Rashid Khan and Mujeeb Zadran is nothing short of incredible.

The death of wrestler Sagar Rana went on to kickstart the entire investigation of two-time Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar, who went absconding on the same night as the victim he had beaten ruthlessly with a stick, lost his life.
Since then, the narrative has been about how Kumar managed to dodge the police for over two weeks, how he got rid of the evidence which made the job of the law-enforcers exponentially difficult, how the video of him in the act of violence is not enough to convict him, how he got involved with some of the most dangerous gangsters in the Delhi-NCR region, and how the murder-accused has started making grand demands like protein shake and a “wrestler's diet” inside the jail as he continues to prepare for the Toyko Olympics behind bars.

Now, a new angle has been added to the entire row, in which a Uranian woman has become of extreme importance to the police in the case against the 38-year old wrestler and the murder of Rana for which he has been accused.

According to a Times of India report, the Delhi police are now looking for a Ukrainian woman who is reportedly central to the rivalry between Kumar and Rana and is believed to have the knowledge of why and how things got so bitter between the two wrestlers so quickly.
Sushil Kumar (face wrapped in a towel) arrested by Delhi Police Special Cell this morning. pic.twitter.com/Pc5DiLd2yx
    — Rahul Rawat (@rawatrahul9) May 23, 2021
Allegedly, the woman would visit Kumar’s Model Town apartment frequently in his absence but none of the people who are currently involved in this investigation have a clue about her whereabouts.
The report explains that the narrative may be around how Ajay Kumar, Sushil’s associate, developed a liking for the Ukrainian lady - who was friends with Amit and Sonu Mahal, whom Sushil had alongside Rana on the night of May 4.
    View this post on Instagram
Ajay allegedly misbehaved with her and even clicked a selfie during her birthday party which led to a verbal altercation between Mahaal and Rana on one side, while Ajay and later Sushil on the other.
An angry Sushil Kumar would then order Rana and Mahaal to vacate the flat and upon resistance, he ended up making the final move by kidnapping Rana and his friends, keeping them hostage for a night and literally beating one of them to death (although he says his intention was only to terrify him, and not kill him).
