    There are people who just don’t take leg days that seriously, and then there are those who go all-out bonkers for that. 
    Well, former World’s Strongest Man, Eddie Hall will tell you, why, it is extremely crucial that in either case, balance is important, and knowing your limit is key.

    For those of you who aren’t that keen on fitness and bodybuilding, Eddie Hall won the World’s Strongest Man competition back in 2017 and formerly held the Guinness World Record for the world’s heaviest deadlift, at 500, which he set in 2016. 

    It was only in 2020 that the record was broken by Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, who lifted 501 kgs.

    In an old video of his that has suddenly gone viral now, Hall can be seen building up to his target of leg pressing1,000 kgs, on one of his regular leg day workouts. In the video, Hall can be heard saying that this is the heaviest weight that he has gone for, while working on his legs.


    He starts out slowly, with fewer weights to get his momentum, as well as his muscles, going. In the video, we see that soon after he passes the normal weight hat he pushes, he starts struggling.

    So much so, that he in fact soils himself, having crapped in his gym shorts. After getting cleaned up, he goes for the target he set for the day - the 1000 kg mark.

    Realising that this is going to be mentally taxing for him, Hall starts to psyche himself up as he loads more weights onto the machine. He then takes his position, still psyching himself up. He tries to push the press but struggles to lift it. All this while, we can hear him grunting, and shouting.

    He finally manages to push the press away and does a couple of presses. With one last grunt, he completes the press, locks it in its default position, and just passes out for a few seconds. Almost immediately he regains his consciousness and asks if he blacked out.

    Bodybuilders often have to work with ridiculous weights in order to stand out. Trained gym trainers and medical experts, all agree, that activities such as deadlifts, bench presses and leg presses, should all be done when you’re fully aware of the limitations of your own body, and within those limits.

    Hall himself has stated that there have been some serious repercussions that he has had to live with because of the ungodly amount of weight he has tried to lift over the years. Eddie has had blackouts, nose bleeds, and some spinal injuries while attempting to lift all those weights.

Sushmita turned a blind eye to it until one day when the mailbox had a bridal dress and accessories. This was the turning point, and then began threats to either marry the fan or he will die. She filed a complaint after posting this.

    John has been every girl's dream man. But, it was actually a male fan who turned his obsessive stalker. After Dostana, one of his die-hard male fans started ringing on his landline every day and would ask if John could meet him, to such an extent he even reached out to his parents. When John was informed about it, that's when he filed a complaint.

    The Greek God of Bollywood was also a victim of stalking. He was surprised to hear from security when he got to know a Russian girl named Anna was stalking him. As per reports, the girl would wait outside his apartment and she also tried to sneak into his office twice. That's when Hrithik sought help from the police and lodged a complaint against her.

    Varun Dhawan has a crazy fan following but even in his case, the love turned into a nightmare. The Dilwale actor was proposed to by a girl and she was seen outside his house. He even tried to pacify her, but things got ugly as his family members and staff started receiving gratuitous calls. Varun then asked the security to intervene.

    Sunny Leone was a victim of cyber-bullying. She was once threatened by a fan, who said he would come to her place and harm her. She also recalled being bullied all the while and in self-defence, she would always carry a knife with her while opening the door. Sunny mentioned that it was a dreadful experience for her and it still affects her.

    Shruti Haasan is a famous star down south and has established her position in Bollywood too. Even she had to deal with an obsessive stalker. As per reports, he was a part of the crew and used to show up at her doorstep. He also attempted to strangle shruti. She was so terrified after it that she filed a complaint against the stalker.

    So, doing a fashion analysis on his style game is tricky, because he just knows how to make anything work. However, when it comes to his appearances in movies, there have been good style moves and not so good style moves, in terms of costumes. Let's explore this a bit, shall we?

    First, let us look at some of his iconic songs where his style game was on fleek.

    1. Main Koi Aisa Geet Gaaoon - Yes Boss
    The ultra-relaxed, all black suit along with an overcoat is something we'd love to wear even today. They say style keeps coming back, and this outfit proves that. Perhaps we'd lose that tie, but the rest is totally 'high-street'. Plus, how comfortable!
    2. Humko Humise Churaa Lo - Mohabbatein
    Those pastel turtlenecks and those sweaters have created more impact on the Indian male fashion psyche than any magazine cover. The fit, the cut, the functionality coupled with just the right bit of whimsy, his fashion game here is A grade. (No idea why Aish is wearing chiffon in sub zero temperatures but how dare you ask that question knowing it's a YRF production you noob?)
    3. Tumse Milke Dil Ka Hai Jo Haal - Main Hoon Naa
    Okay he's a little extra here but DO YOU REMEMBER the craze that 2000s was all about? Plus looking back, even though it was all a little blingy, all of it is put together quite well keeping the Indian fashion canvas in mind.
    4. Love You Zindagi - Dear Zindagi
    Not really a 'song' song but let's just say that his outfits here are so tasteful that one would want to take fashion therapy from him after messing up with too many colours and patterns. Those muted, crisp linens are everything!
    5. Zaalima - Raees
    An all black, flowy pairing of Kurta and Patiala lowers along with a statement headgear should look just like this. Those shades, and everything else about the styling is perfect keeping a desert in mind, but there's no reason why men wouldn't want to just wear something similar to a wedding or engagement.
    6. Gerua - Dilwale
    When this came out, it honestly felt like a tribute to the iconic 'Suraj Hua Maddham', but the outfits here are so much more wearable. All the layering, be it the leather jackets or the blazers, are all well done, and one can easily take inspiration from them for a fashionable fare.
    7. Hawayein - Jab Harry Met Sejal
    This outfit is a classic. Remember how folding your shirt sleeve over your jacket or cardigan had become a thing back then? The zippered woolen cardigan on top of that button down has an appeal that's hard to put a finger on. You know you have worn it just like that if you consider yourself fashionable.
    Now, let us look at some of the not so well executed fashion moments that even the one and only Shah Rukh Khan wasn't immune from.
    1. Love Mera Hit Hit - Billu Barber
    It's a cracker of a song and we still dance to it (if you don't you're just not cool enough). But what are those outfits? Let's just say any outfit that makes the great SRK or the incredible Deepika look awkward, is a questionable outfit. In this case, every single outfit in this song. Please no.
    2. India Waale - Happy New Year
    An utterly forgettable movie that made us question a lot of things, including the outfits in this song. That horrid blue jacket is a massive red flag for any fashion conscious man. If you look carefully, every single jacket in this song looks poorly thought out and clunky, including Sonu Sood's. Sorry King, they did you dirty here.
    3. Ajab Si - Om Shanti Om
    An iconic song, absolutely no doubt about that. But that outfit is a no-no. No one can carry off that many checks, that too huge, boxy ones in such alarming shades. It's a no from us.
    4. Are Re Are - Dil Toh Pagal Hai
    This movie had pathbreaking fashion moments, we must say. Those who know, know. However, SRK's outfit at the starting of the sync dance scene is guilty of 'trying too much'. The unbuttoned yet tucked in shirt along with that chunky neck piece? In a movie where Karishma Kapoor has taught girls how to dress for the next 20 years or so? Nope.
    5. Satrangi Re - Dil SeWhat a movie, what a song. Take a bow, Sonu Nigam, for no one can else could've done those vocals. However, SRK's desert outfit here is just too layered, without any shape or form because of too much fabric that's heavy, and does not do justice to the iconic song that it is. Gerua's desert outfit seems to be the edited version of this one, which actually worked beautifully, on the same man.
    6. Yeh Mera Dil - Don 2
    Another iconic song where Kareena sizzled like there's no tomorrow, but SRK's outfit failed to. Please never do silk shirts with patterns, and even if you do, NEVER pair it with a tie of the exact same fabric that ends up INSIDE the shirt. Oof.
    7. Dance Pe Chance - Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi
    An incredible song to dance to, no doubt. But let's just say if you're not a 14 year old who's trying to make a TikTok, please don't dress like this. Please.
    Having said that, we'll all forever be 'Jabra Fans' irrespective of how he dresses, because we are powerless in front of his magic. You do you, King.

Why would people be interested in reading it?' Then the lockdown happened... And I did a lot of thinking about my life and decided to resume writing again. Everything is out of my system now. Things I was hiding for so many years. That's a big relief. I think, maybe after reading the book, even if one person doesn't make the mistake which I did, if they feel 'yeah, we should not do this', it'll be worth it.”
    Published by Random House India, the book touches upon several milestones of Gupta's life, from her unconventional pregnancy, single parenthood to a successful comeback in Bollywood.

    Casting CouchMany actresses have opened up on the horrific experiences of the casting couch and how it made a dent in their mental space. Neena shared a shocking incident in the book stating that a renowned South producer offered her to spend the night with him. She shared that she called the producer from the phone lobby, who told her to come up to his room. "My basic instinct told me to not go upstairs. That I should ask him to come down to the lobby instead," she wrote. She was afraid but she went ahead thinking she shouldn’t be missing a golden chance. After talking for the hours, Neena was disinterested as the role felt like a very small part but what happened next sent shivers down her spine. She told him that she had to go. "'Go? Where?" he asked. He seemed genuinely shocked. 'Aren't you going to spend the night here?' Suddenly, I felt like someone had just poured a bucket of ice water on my head. Khoon sookh gaya (My blood froze).” Neena ran out of the room and managed to escape.

    Satish Kaushik Offered To Marry Her When She Was PregnantHer life wasn’t easy. She got pregnant with Masaba while she was in a relationship with former cricketer Sir Viv Richards in the 1980's. In her book, she said, “My father was brave enough to marry my mother for love.     When Viv Richards Didn’t Talk To Her For 5 YearsNeena recalled an incident when she had to get her daughter admitted to a good school and feared that because of her family situation, Masaba won’t get a good school. Neena's aunt helped her to get an interview with the main trustee of Jamnabai Narsee School and the date was set. It clashed with the date of the trip she had planned with Viv. When he called to enquire about the trip, she told him that Masaba’s interview is equally important and they will have to postpone the trip. “But Vivian didn't understand the importance of it. Or maybe I wasn't clear enough in explaining to him how difficult it was for a child in this situation to get admission in a good school," she wrote.

    Her Failed First MarriageShe married a young man named Amlan Kusum Ghose. The actor revealed that he was a student at IIT while Neena was pursuing her masters in Sanskrit. Neena opened up about the relationship and said, "Amlan and I would meet in secret on campus, his hostel, or near my house. His parents lived in another city but his grandfather lived in my lane so he would spend festivals and holidays in WEA." Neena got permission to marry him but the marriage didn’t last.

    “Amlan viewed things differently. Given the times and our upbringing, I think he had always assumed that I would eventually settle down and focus on our family. But I had become a bit too ambitious and didn’t see myself ever being a regular housewife. I wanted more from life, and the more theatre I did, the clearer my path became," she said.
    “During the short time, Amlan and I were married, we never quarreled much. Not about our daily lives, the way our house was run, or about my studies and career. We were both very, very young when we dove into marriage, but to this day, I don’t have a harsh thing to say about him," she added.

    What’s the most bizarre thing you have seen on a football pitch? No, we are not asking about the crazy skills on display but things that have nothing to do with football. 
    During the Euro 2020 game between Germany and France, a climate activist crash-landed on a football pitch leaving at least two people injured. 
    The incident happened last night ahead of the kick-off of Group F clash between the two European giants.
    Moments before the kick-off, a Greenpeace activist flew over the pitch with “kick out oil” written on his parachute. 
    Multiple videos of the unfortunate incident, which have since gone viral, show the pilot flying over the pitch and losing his balance after hitting the spidercam cables.

    After hitting the cables, the pilot sailed towards one of the stands where fans were present in large numbers and caused injuries to several of them. 
    The protester somehow managed to crash-land the parachute on the pitch, which thankfully avoided any catastrophic damage.
    He was taken off the field by the stewards and was handed over to the Munich Police, who later said that they are considering various criminal charges against the activist for putting several lives at risk. 
    Infuriated by his act, the fans took to social media and demanded strong action be taken against the culprit who put several innocent lives in danger.

    Greenpeace said their intention was not to hurt anyone and that they regretted any harm caused. "This protest was never intended to disrupt the game or hurt people," the organisation wrote on their official German handle.

    There is a very good reason why we Indian men look up to our cricketers for style cues. Well, Shikhar Dhawan reminded us why exactly.

    The Indian opening batsman was recently spotted at the Mumbai Airport with the rest of the Indian cricketing squad. While all of the guys were dressed like proper fashion icons, the southpaw, was in a league of his own.

    Shikar Dhawan was seen in a very simple and understated outfit that mainly consisted of a pair of blue slim-fit distressed denim, and a printed white shirt. 

    The outfit in and of itself was a rather dapper one. However, it was the choices of his accessories that really turned heads.

    First off, is his choice of footwear. 

    We see Dhawan here, wearing a dope looking pair of mojaris or juttis as they are popularly called. The leather mojaris have a dark tan and come courtesy of an Indian luxury label called Voganow, specifically from their Bareskin collection.

    Because these are customised and made to order, putting a price tag on these jalsas, is a little difficult. However, be prepared to shell out about Rs 6000-7000 for a pair.

    We also like the dope looking backpack that he’s carrying. They are the Christopher Backpack in Navy & Yellow from Louis Vuitton, and boy are they something to look at. 

    The yellow accents and the flaps do give the backpack a quirky character.

    Because this is a piece from Louis Vuitton and was designed under Virgil Abloh, the backpack is super expensive. The backpack used to retail for about $4,100 or just over Rs 3 Lakhs. 

    However, you can pick up some of these bags from e-commerce platforms that sell used luxury pieces such as these, for a lot cheaper.

    The highlight of Shikhar’s outfit though, has to be the customised watch that he is wearing. The watch that we see on his wrist is the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Ref. No. 26170ST.OO.1000ST.01.

    Now, normally, this watch looks very basic and does not come with the diamonds that we see on Dhawan’s watch. The diamonds were a part of a custom package that only a few Audemars Piguet retailers will offer their loyal customers.

    The watch, without the diamonds, retails for about Rs 20.5 Lakhs. Add the diamond package and the price shoots up by about Rs 52 Lakhs. That brings us to a total of Rs 72 Lakhs.

    The United States Of America, along with a number of other developed countries that are a part of the G7 recently announced that they are going to help out underdeveloped nations across the world, and provide them with vaccines, among other things to help fight COVID-19.

    Well, this was a nice gesture and was appreciated by the leaders of many countries. 

    However, a recent tweet that the US Embassy of Port of Spain Trinidad and Tobago put out has sparked a debate on whether the US government is actually helping out counties in a feasible way, or just engaging in some tokenism.

    The US Embassy for Trinidad and Tobago recently put out this tweet -

    In this PR announcement, they said that they are giving away a grand total of 80 Pfizer COVID vaccine vials, along with some other equipment and materials to Trinidad and Tobago. 
    We know what you might be thinking. That the ‘80 vials’ claim might be a typo. However, there has been no clarification on that, so far, so we know that this isn’t a typo.
    Trinidad and Tobago have a population of about 14 Lakhs. No matter how efficiently you put things to use, or how you stretch it, medical experts cannot extract even 1000 vaccine doses from the 80 vials of Pfizer’s COVID vaccine that the US government has so graciously provided, and that is an overestimation.

    In contrast, India, which was facing a massive vaccine shortage, gave about 40,000 vaccine doses to Trinidad and Tobago, at least 40 times of what the US government has given as aid.

    The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, popularly known as just the Red Cross, is an international NGO that has actually provided more doses than the US government.

    The police in India do not have that good an image in most cases. The sleaziness and their tendencies to sneakily ask for bribes are some of the biggest reasons for that.

    The management team of a burger joint in Pakistan called Johnny & Jugnu, reported that the police had arrested all of the staff members at one of their locations in Lahore. 

    The arrested staff members included the chefs, the servers as well as the cleaning staff. The reason for their arrest? The outlet refused to give the local policemen free burgers.

    Apparently, the local SHO would often send someone from his staff and demand that the restaurant send free food to the station. 

    One day, when the manager refused to give any more freebies, he was threatened with dire consequences. 
    The next day, he was arrested from the restaurant, and taken away. Soon after that, a team of police constables arrived at the restaurant and arrested 19 other members of staff who were present in the premises.

    Allegedly, the staff members were detained at the police station for seven hours, during which they were beaten up, abused and constantly told that this is what happens when someone refuses, their boss.
    This incident caught the attention of the local press, and soon after that got escalated pretty quickly. So much so, that the Punjab Provincial Police suspended all the officers involved in this case and has ordered an inquiry into the situation. 
    IG Punjab Inam Ghani have taken notice of the Johnny and Jugnu restaurant incident and have suspended the SHO Defence C and the staff of the police station involved. No one is allowed to take law into his own hands. Injustice will not be tolerated. All of them will be punished.

    The head of marketing for the restaurant chain said that the only reason why any action was taken, is that the locals had a good relationship with the outlet and that they had been very local on social media.  
    He also said that he welcomes the swift response that the higher-ups at Punjab Police.

    Shubman Gill has seen a meteoric rise in international cricket in the last few months, establishing himself as the first-choice opener alongside Rohit Sharma in the longest format of the game. 

    Gill has time and again emphasised that after his father, former India great Rahul Dravid played a key role in his development during the early phase of his career and he values their advice immensely. 
    Recently he appeared on a cricket podcast and was given in a hypothetical situation where he could only pick one of the two pieces of advice given to him by his father and Dravid, and the answer that he gave proved why is one of the most promising young talents in the country. 
    Oozing with confidence, Gill answered that he would do what he thought was right as that would allow him to play his natural game without worrying about the end result. 
    “I wouldn’t listen to either of the two, I would just listen to myself and decide ‘What do I wanna do? Do I wanna do this? Or do I wanna do that,” Gill said.

    “Rahul sir never asks a player to change his technique or way of playing, rather he tries to make the player mentally strong. He tells you to analyze the game and play well in difficult situations” Gill said on ‘The Grade Cricketer’ podcast. 
    “Rahul sir’s technique was so strong but he never asked any batsman to change their technique. He works on strengthening the mental state of the batsman,” he added.
