Sushil Kumar’s Case Is Now About A Missing Ukrainian Woman & The Drama Continues To Unfold

The death of wrestler Sagar Rana went on to kickstart the entire investigation of two-time Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar, who went absconding on the same night as the victim he had beaten ruthlessly with a stick, lost his life.

Since then, the narrative has been about how Kumar managed to dodge the police for over two weeks, how he got rid of the evidence which made the job of the law-enforcers exponentially difficult, how the video of him in the act of violence is not enough to convict him, how he got involved with some of the most dangerous gangsters in the Delhi-NCR region, and how the murder-accused has started making grand demands like protein shake and a “wrestler's diet” inside the jail as he continues to prepare for the Toyko Olympics behind bars.

Now, a new angle has been added to the entire row, in which a Uranian woman has become of extreme importance to the police in the case against the 38-year old wrestler and the murder of Rana for which he has been accused.

According to a Times of India report, the Delhi police are now looking for a Ukrainian woman who is reportedly central to the rivalry between Kumar and Rana and is believed to have the knowledge of why and how things got so bitter between the two wrestlers so quickly.

Allegedly, the woman would visit Kumar’s Model Town apartment frequently in his absence but none of the people who are currently involved in this investigation have a clue about her whereabouts.

The report explains that the narrative may be around how Ajay Kumar, Sushil’s associate, developed a liking for the Ukrainian lady - who was friends with Amit and Sonu Mahal, whom Sushil had alongside Rana on the night of May 4.

Ajay allegedly misbehaved with her and even clicked a selfie during her birthday party which led to a verbal altercation between Mahaal and Rana on one side, while Ajay and later Sushil on the other.

An angry Sushil Kumar would then order Rana and Mahaal to vacate the flat and upon resistance, he ended up making the final move by kidnapping Rana and his friends, keeping them hostage for a night and literally beating one of them to death (although he says his intention was only to terrify him, and not kill him).
