In a shocking incident, an owner of a private hospital in Agra admitted to gambling with the lives of the patients by snapping the oxygen supply of critical patients in both Covid and non-Covid wards in order to check who will survive.

However, Singh also said that strict action will be taken against those found guilty of this inhumane occurrence.

According to Chief medical officer Dr RC Pandey, seven patients had lost their lives in the same time period, and that the health department has launched an investigation into it.

In the positive news, most of us were freed from the daily commute last year. Soon after we also realised what an impact it had on our body and mental health.

If the mode of transport was convenient, traffic was the problem. If traffic wasn’t an issue then long travelling hours made the day miserable.
But on second thought, we might be settling for something worse now—a sedentary lifestyle.
If you’ve been sitting for prolonged hours without much movement, you must have already experienced periods of stiff, achy joints and muscles. Not all of us own an ergonomically designed office chair. Most of us have been working from our hard as nails dining room chair.
But don’t worry, you can skip the lockdown joint pain by indulging in these super easy but super helpful desk stretches.
Neck StretchVirtual meetings don’t require us to move our heads as frequently. It’s natural to see an increase in neck pain. Try to schedule your desk stretches on an hourly basis.

Tips To Increase MobilityUse a desk chair with arms so you can relax your hands every few seconds. Keep your knees in line with your hips, not higher. Don’t go to your screen while sitting, try to bring it closer to you instead. This will encourage you to use back support.Don’t cross your legs under the desk.Walk and stretch every hour.Get up for a glass of water every half an hour.Keep your laptop close to your eye level and voila, bye-bye body aches!Explore More

Elon Musk and his tomfoolery with cryptocurrency have agitated a lot of people. No matter what pundits and experts will have you believe, but his tweets do have an impact on the crypto market.

    © AFP
Seeing this, Anonymous recently put out a statement, which basically says that if Elon Musk doesn’t mend his ways, he will face the wrath of the white hat hackers group. The group also stated that they have had issues with the tech mogul over some of his other allegedly nefarious business practices and that Musk, is just another “narcissistic rich dude.”

    © Reuters
Well, unsurprisingly, Elon isn’t the only tech mogul to have been targeted by Anonymous. There have been a number of tech moguls other than Musk who have been at the receiving end of some pretty damning statements from the hacktivist group.

    © Reuters
Here 4 of the most notable ones.

Jeff Bezos - Amazon © Reuters
Is it any surprise that the world’s richest man was targeted by the hacktivist group? The story goes that Amazon and Bezos were staunchly against WikiLeaks. Anonymous did not see this favourably. However, after reports started coming out of Amazon’s fulfilment centres & warehouses of the inhumane working conditions that workers are subjected to, Bezos was personally targeted by the group, who hacked into his email accounts, and several social media handles, and put out some really bizarre posts.

Charlie Scharf - CEO & Chairman Of Visa © AFP
Visa was one of the first payment gateway companies that blocked their users from donating to WikiLeaks. MasterCard also followed suit. However, it was Visa’s then CEO, Charlie Scharf, who had to face Anonymous’ fury. Not only did they hack into his emails, they also released a few financial records of the companies that highlighted the exorbitant amount of money some of the highest office-holders received, at a time when Visa was having one of its toughest times. The hack led to some really intense shake-ups within Visa.

The Entire Top Brass Of Sony © Reuters
Back in 2011, Sony had sued George Hotz, a software engineer and security hacker, for hacking into his own PlayStation and reverse engineering their system. Anonymous targeted the top brass of Sony as well as the company’s systems as well, and released quite a few damning documents and emails. Anonymous’ hack also had some financial repercussions. Apparently, Sony lost over $24 Billion. After much deliberation, Sony Corp. CEO Howard Stringer was forced to resign by the shareholders.

Tim Cook - CEO, Apple Inc. © Reuters
Finally, we have Tim Cook. Apple is one the most valued and influential tech companies on the earth, in more ways than one realises. Have you ever wondered why repairing old Apple products are so expensive? It is actually by design. Even the screws they use have a different head and need specialised tools to be worked on. Needless to say, Apple is against the Right To Repair movement.

    © Reuters
So much so, that when an American Tractor company was sued by a group of farmers for not allowing them to repair their own tractors, Apple actually reached the courtroom in a small town in Nebraska, an agricultural state in America, to help the tractor makers defend their case. This obviously irked every advocate and supporter of the Right To Repair movement, including a few high ranking members of Anonymous. And so, they hacked away. Tim Cook’s personal and professional emails were hacked, and so were a few of the company’s systems. However, there is no information available that talks about the extent of the hack, or the damage that it caused.

    The Bottom Line…
Anonymous is certainly not afraid to go after people and organisations that are goliaths in their size and power. It will be interesting to see, whether Elon Musk actually gets hacked, or does he get away with a warning. Whatever happens, one thing is for sure - you don’t mess with Anonymous.

Battlegrounds Mobile India is about to launch soon, however, it seems like the game cannot keep out of trouble due to its relationship with China’s Tencent.
While Krafton, the company behind the game has been clear about having any links with the Chinese developer, it seems to not be enough for Lok Sabha MPs.
According to Zee News, Nizamabad, Telangana, Lok Sabha MP, Arvind Dharmapuri has officially written to IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad asking for a probe into Battlegrounds Mobile India’s relationship with China’s Tencent Games.
The letter, that was sent on June 2nd, mentioned Dharmapuri has received a representation against the game by Nizamabad-based social activist Sai Kumar.
    © onur-binay-unsplash
The letter does not ask for an outright ban on Battlegrounds Mobile India but it does put the game under scrutiny. The letter highlights key issues with the game and asks the Indian Government for a probe as well.

According to the letter, Battlegrounds Mobile India stores data in India and Singapore and also allows for international data transfers. Dharmapuri has also asked the Union Minister to look closely at Krafton’s investment and agreements with Tencent for national security reasons.
It seems like the Indian Government officials have not ignored the relaunch of PUBG Mobile as Battlegrounds Mobile India.
Last month, Arunachal Pradesh MLA Ninong Ering had also asked to ban the upcoming game in the country. MP Abhishek Singhvi also demanded a ban on the game stating that the Battlegrounds Mobile India would allow for Tencent’s re-entry in India.
    © Twitter_arvind dharmapuri
Even with negative press, Battlegrounds Mobile India has amassed over 20 million pre-registration on Google Play in anticipation of the launch later this month.

Having said that, as of now the Indian Government has not determined the fate of Battlegrounds Mobile India. It could be possible that the game might get banned if the Indian Government finds practices that violate India’s national security or unearths links with China’s Tencent Games.

David Warner shared behind-the-scenes video footage while shooting a Jio commercial advertisement from back when he was in India during the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League and the bio bubble was considered to be secured.
In the Instagram post, SunRisers Hyderabad all-rounder Rashid Khan, middle-order hitter Manish Pandey and Warner himself could be seen on their knees, probably doing some sort of yoga poses, while being surrounded by greenscreens while the Jio song plays in the background.
    View this post on Instagram
“Our attempt of a commercial @rashid.khan19 @manishpandeyinsta Caption this??” Warner wrote in the caption, asking his followers to give an appropriate caption to the hilarious BTS action.
And while Khan and Warner seem to be having fun with the whole experience, Pandey does not look pleased about all the dancing and singing and looks ready to escape as soon as the music stops.

While the video in itself is hilarious, it also shows that getting bid for during an IPL auction is never simply about playing the best cricket that you can for a particular franchise or a team but also get involved in activities like promotional shoots, television commercials, and social gatherings you may or may not have wished to sign up for.
Before IPL 2021 was suspended due to the rampant COVID-19 outbreak in India back in April and May, things ended up badly for the Australian batsman, who saw a serious demotion through the ranks within the team.
    Announcement pic.twitter.com/B9tBDWwzHe
    — SunRisers Hyderabad (@SunRisers) May 1, 2021 After SRH lost six of their first seven matches, Warner was not only stripped off his captaincy but was also knocked out of the Playing XI, reducing him to nothing more than a waterboy, who’d carry drinks and sit beyond the boundary line to throw the ball back into the ground.
The coaching staff and the team selectors faced severe backlash due to this surprising decision while commentator Graeme Swann felt that the insulting removal of Warner was punishment for speaking up against the decision-makers for dropping Manish Pandey from the main squad following a rough stint with the bat.

Ravichandran Ashwin has finally decided to respond to former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar’s “analysis” which explained why in his eyes, the Chennai cricketer fails to be an ‘all-time great’.
On Monday evening, the bowling all-rounder used a cheeky meme with a dialogue from Tamil movie Anniyan to sarcastically mock the cricket expert’s assessment of Ashwin’s career so far. The translation of the meme is “Don’t say that Chari(movie character) my heartaches”.
    🤩🤩 https://t.co/PFJavMfdIE pic.twitter.com/RbWnO9wYti
    — Mask up and take your vaccine🇮🇳 (@ashwinravi99) June 7, 2021
Not the one to back away from quick retaliation, Manjrekar once again played a victim card and expressed how surprised he was to face criticism after making a statement as bold and daring as this one.

Also Chaari, my heart aches to see simple, straightforward, cricketing assessments kick up a fuss these days https://t.co/7r7SNqpQq3
    — Sanjay Manjrekar (@sanjaymanjrekar) June 8, 2021
This isn’t the first time Manjrekar’s assessment of an Indian cricketer has made him look weak in the public eye. Back in 2019, he had called Ravindra Jadeja a “bits and pieces player”. The southpaw all-rounder would then go on to have an incredible World Cup stint and became India’s most successful player against New Zealand during the semi-final loss, making Manjrekar eat his words.
Therefore, ever since he spoke about Ashwin, the fans are expecting to see a ‘Part 2’ of the ‘Bits and Pieces’ series:

    — 𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐍 𝐒𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐑 (@Nitin7304) June 8, 2021He is making fun of himself from sometime by calling players Bits and Pieces and telling Ashwin hasn’t proved outside of Asia and calling Bumrah top 5 best bowler when Bumrah hardly played a test in India.
    — sarat (@suryasarat) June 8, 2021@sanjaymanjrekar u will get paid back from @ashwinravi99 within a couple of years 🤪 pic.twitter.com/t95ZQYBva1
    — ViⓥEк_Ŵ (@VivekW7) June 8, 2021 Over the weekend, in a video conference by ESPNcricinfo, Manjrekar gave a couple of reasons why Ashwin hasn’t met his expectations to be known as an ‘All-Time Great’.
"Ravichandran Ashwin, with due respect to him, I think he's a great guy at what he does, but when people start talking about him as one of the all-time greats, I have a few problems with that," Manjrekar said.

"One basic problem that I have with Ashwin is that when you look at SENA, the countries for batsmen and bowlers, places where Indians find themselves outside their comfort zone - it's amazing that he doesn't have a single five-wicket haul. Not one five-wicket haul in all these countries," he added in the video.

"The other thing - you talk about him running through sides on Indian pitches, when pitches are suited to his kind of bowling. But in the last four years, (Ravindra) Jadeja has matched him with wicket-taking ability throughout a series.
    View this post on Instagram
"So, Ashwin is not a guy who soars above the others. And interestingly, in the last series against England, Axar Patel got more wickets than Ashwin on similar pitches. That is my problem with accepting Ashwin as an all-time great."
Later during the day, Manjrekar once again hopped on Twitter to further justify his words by dumbing down the meaning of the phrase ‘all-time great’ for his followers to understand.
‘All- time great’ is the highest praise & acknowledgement given to a cricketer. Cricketers like Don Bradman, Sobers, Gavaskar, Tendulkar, Virat etc are all time greats in my book. With due respect, Ashwin not quite there as an all-time great yet. #AllTimeGreatExplained

In case you missed the live event this morning, we’ve compiled all of the top features that the Cupertino giant announced for the iPhone, iPad, AirPods, macOS and other products.
Here are some of the top features announced today morning:
    1. iOS 15  © Apple
iOS 15 is getting an array of new features that improve the overall experience on iPhones with updates such as Focus mode, FaceTime updates, and Live text.

    2. FaceTime Updates  © Apple

The iOS 15 will also use a voice isolation feature that will improve your voice when taking from a loud environment.
Portrait Mode: FaceTime calls will also now let users blur the background similar to Nvidia Broadcast and have all the focus on a caller’s face. It looks like a portrait image from the camera however it looks a bit more professional for FaceTime calls.
FaceTime On Android and Windows: Users will now able to share FaceTime Links that will let others join the call via a desktop or an Android device. It works exactly like a Zoom call link but now
SharePlay: Users will now able to share audio/video stream on FaceTime calls via Apple Music or watch videos together from any streaming platform.
This feature works across the system and essentially means you can now have a shared experience with your friends when watching your favourite TV show or listening to a Playlist on Apple Music.
    3. Focus Mode iPhone users will now cable to set up profiles or modes such as “work” where only work-related apps will be able to send you a notification. It also means that only work-related apps and widgets will show up on your home screen.
    © Apple
Notifications on iOS are also getting an improvement where users will be able to batch less relevant notification together. You can also tweak at what time you would like to see these notifications.

    4. Live Text  © Apple
The camera on the iPhone will now be able to recognise text in photos and let users select the text. This text can is copy/pastable and can even recognise objects. It works similar to Google Lens, however, in this case, all of the processes are happening on-device. Users can also copy a phone number from a billboard or a business card and call directly by scanning the text. This feature works on all images, even from the web.

    5. AirPodsAirPods Pro users will now be Abel to boost the volume of voices of those around you and make it easier to have conversations without removing the TWS earphones. Users will also be able to isolate noise by using Transparency mode.
    © Apple
Other new features include the ability to find lost AirPods via the Find My app even when they are in the charging case. Tracking the AirPods is far more accurate as Apple now gives both visual and audio cues to locate your lost AirPods Pro. Spatial audio for the AirPods Pro and AirPods Pro Max will now be compatible for tvOS and M1-powered Macs.

    6. iPadOSiPadOS is now getting widgets similar to iOS however they are far larger in size due to the larger canvas. iPadOS is also getting the App Library feature which will make it easier for users to organise their apps.
    © Apple
Apple is also bringing a split-screen menu which makes multitasking far easier for iPad users. Users will now be able to use two apps on the same screen and club two apps together as well. iPad users can now also take ‘Quick Notes’ by swiping from the bottom right corner of the screen. Apple will also let you mention or tag other users in shared notes to get their attention as well.

    7. Security Updates  © Apple
Apple believes privacy to be a fundamental right and is now bringing new privacy updates that hide your IP address in the Mail app and even in iCloud. Users can also access a “App Privacy Report” for all apps that summarises what data is being collected and shared with other websites. Siri’s speed recognition will also happen on-device for users who have products powered by the A12 Bionic chipset or above.

    8. Health Updates  © Apple
iPhone users will now able to analyst their “walking steadiness” as the health app will not able to analyse your gait, step timing etc. The iPhone will be able to determine whether your fall risk is increasing over time. Users will now be able to share their Health stats with their family and friends as well.

    9. watchOS Apple Watch users will now be able to track their respiratory rate where users can get detailed data on how many breaths they take per minute. The app will also note how you breathe differently throughout the day.
    © Apple
Apple Watch users can also now use Portrait images as a watchface, where watchOS automatically presents in a neat and classy way on your watch’s face. Starting with watchOS 8, Apple Watch users will be able to share photos through the iMessage and Mail apps and add text through Scribble on the Watch

    10. macOS © Apple
The next software update for the Mac is called macOS Monterey. Now, Macs will be able to support all of the SharePlay features as the iPhone as well for FaceTime Calls.

The new update will also let users use one keyboard/mouse setup to control multiple devices sucks as the iPad and the Macs. Putting an iPad next to your MacBook will not let you use both devices as one large big canvas. MacBooks will be able to automatically recognise compatible devices.
Macs are also getting AirPlay features where iPhone or iPad users can now send AirPlay content to Mac’s display. It works similar to how users mirror iPhone and iPad content to Apple TV.
Safari is also getting a UI overhaul where tabs are being made smaller and a new system to keep things organised. Safari also looks radically different from previous versions making it very classy and minimalistic as well. Tab groups on Safari will also now automatically sync with other iCloud devices.
