The PlayStation5 hasn’t seen a restock in India ever since its initial launch on 2nd February 2021. However, according to our source, the PlayStation 5 India stock has indeed landed in the country and is expected to go on sale by the end of May 2021. Our source who chooses to remain anonymous because of fear of retribution said “stock has been sitting in Sony’s warehouse for a while.” News regarding the PS5 India restock was first revealed on The Untitled Gadget Podcast which you can listen here.

The claim was independently verified IGN India as well although it is currently unclear how many units have made it to India. IGN India previously reported that the stock had arrived in the country sometime in April, however it seems like plans got deferred due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition to the PS5 restock news, our source also mentioned that the Xbox Series X is also expected to get a restock around the same timeframe. The stock for Microsoft’s console has landed at its distributor Redington’s warehouse but due to the stringent curfew rules, the restock for the console had been delayed.

Having said that, plans for the restock of both consoles can change at any time due to the raging second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in India. As a result, top e-commerce retailers like Amazon, Flipkart and others have suspended delivery of goods that aren’t deemed essential which includes gaming consoles as well.

This may come as good news for the Indian gaming community as eager customers of the PlayStation 5 had even started a petition to get Sony India’s attention.

Rehna Hai Terre Dil Mein had an amassed cult following when it released in 2001.

With debutante Dia Mirza and R Madhavan, who played the role of Maddy, this movie cemented its place in our hearts. While the concept was conventional, the movie still managed to capture our attention.
It's been two decades since the release of this movie but most of us won't mind watching it over and over again. That's the sort of impact it had on the 90s kids.

Very recently, though, Dia Mirza came forward and claimed that the movie had sexist elements in it. In an interview, Dia mentioned that back in the days, she was working alongside people, who were also a part of the 'sexist' cinema.

Dia, in the interview, talks about how we have been a part of the patriarchal society and there's 'rampant sexism' in Bollywood as well.

"People were writing, thinking and making sexist cinema and I was a part of these stories... Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein has sexism in it... I was acting with these people. I was working with these people. It's crazy. I will give you small examples. A makeup artist could only be a man, could not be a woman. A hairdresser only had to be a woman... When I started working in films there were at best about four or five women on any given crew with a unit strength of over 120... sometimes 180 people," she said.

She further added, "I think for a large part it is not even conscious sexism because there are so many men who are writers, who are directors, who are actors, who are not even aware of their sexist thinking."

Dia Mirza started her journey in 2000 when she was crowned Miss Asia Pacific.

She recently got married to Vaibhav Rekhi and the duo is expecting their first child together. Apart from that, Dia's acting career has seen some stellar moments as she gave some immaculate performances in movies like Parineeta, Sanju, Love Breakups Zindagi etc and most recently, in Thappad.

Let’s face the fact, India is currently in the middle of what has been the worst and most devastating wave of the COVID-19 pandemic this world has ever seen.
With hospitals running out of beds, vaccination cartons empty in the majority of districts and the uncertainty of getting an appointment, the fear of getting infected and losing their loved ones continues to haunt the common people.
501 districts are now reporting more than 100 Covid cases and that’s a big change from the situation just 15 days ago. Clear cut sign that the pandemic has spread to India’s hinterland. Close to 70% of India has turned red in last 2 months: https://t.co/RqjISHGQ6Y pic.twitter.com/sT24xdDC9D
    — Shiv Aroor (@ShivAroor) May 11, 2021
Under such circumstances, an outpour of sympathy and support has been seen from the international community. Many celebrities, professionals and the average men from all over the world have donated, or contributed towards our nation’s fight against the pandemic, through monetary assistance, supplying essentials and if not anything else, through their thoughts and prayers.
Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen, who has been a big part of the Indian cricket fraternity and continues to enjoy the love of the people here, recently tried to express his love, admiration and empathy towards the struggle this country is currently facing, and he wanted to use the Hindi language as the medium of expression.
    On Twitter, he wrote:
    मैंने भारत छोड़ दिया हो सकता है, लेकिन मैं अभी भी ऐसे देश के बारे में सोच रहा हूँ जिसने मुझे बहुत प्यार और स्नेह दिया है। कृपया लोग सुरक्षित रहें। यह समय बीत जाएगा लेकिन आपको सावधान रहना होगा। 🏽
    — Kevin Pietersen🦏 (@KP24) May 11, 2021
“I may have left India, but I am still thinking about this country that has given me so much love and affection. Please, stay safe. This time will also pass but you all will have to be careful,” when translated from Hindi to English.
But, instead of appreciating Pietersen’s gesture and the sentiments behind the message, his non-Hindi-speaking Indian followers were quick to start reprimanding and criticising the man for the change in language.
50% of indians dont understands hindi qsshole
    — Dhamaka (@Dhamaka52874127) May 11, 2021India is a country having more than 800 languages, 13 dfrnt scripts and 22 official languages. As an outsider, many don't know nearly 40% of population don't know to read/speak Hindi. Anyway, it feels good to know that u want to personally connect with us though I can't undrstnd
    — தோழர் நீதிமான் (@prolePERIYARIST) May 11, 2021Dear Kevin, In India people speaks many languages other than Hindi. You can only address people who knows Hindi when you write in Hindi not the whole country. Nanri( means Thanks in Tamil)
    — சண்டக்கோழி (@PriyaTheIris) May 11, 2021If you post in English might reach more indians than in Hindi, typing in Hindi doesn't represents that you are speaking to every Indian. Think again.
    — Telugodu (@melokforu) May 11, 2021Hi KP sir, can you type this in English. We South Indians do not understand this Hindi language. Sir these North Indians impose hindi against our will. Please help sir. Big fan sir..
    — Varun (@wizardrincewind) May 11, 2021To avoid the transfer of messages due to linguistic limitations, the micro-blogging website provides the option to “Translate Tweet” with the help of the Google Translate feature. You can use this to translate practically any tweet into English or any other language of your choice.
If the intent is to really understand what Pietersen had written, any one of these critics could have simply pushed the button and see what the man wanted to say. However, they chose to call him out for choosing Hindi.
Such trivial issues are as it is difficult to watch but to witness such exchanges at a time when something as devastating and disturbing as the COVID-19 pandemic has stuck the country is outright disappointing.

2021 was supposed to be the year of comebacks for the entertainment industry. With so many good scripts lined up, most of us got pretty pumped up for the release of these movies in the theatres.

However, with the second wave of Covid-19 having the nation in its clutches, it's back to square one for Bollywood, which means people sitting at home and waiting for the release of movies on OTT platforms.

One movie that certainly piqued a lot of interest, is Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai.

The Salman Khan starrer's trailer was released on April 22nd and if we go by the scenes in the trailer, the story revolves around the drug mafia and the surge in the rate of crime in Mumbai.

In a recent interview, Salman Khan spoke about his upcoming movie.

The drug issue has been a topic of conversation ever since the demise of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. A lot of names came forward from the industry which led to a full-fledged investigation by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). Several filmmakers, as well as actors, were summoned during the time.

Salman cleared the air by saying that the shoot of his movie was finished before the investigation started.

He said "It has been a problem for a long time. Even before this drugs investigation took over Maharashtra, we had already completed shooting the film. But now it became relevant. I have always been against drugs. Here, people are misusing it. We have nieces and nephews who are very young and might get influenced,”
He further added "As soon as you take it, you are done...your body and mind both will want it so you will have to be ten times stronger. But most of them don't have that in them to do that. Families go through problems, then siblings go through problems. So in Radhe, we have touched upon this subject...a man who goes on to clean up the city,”

Mostly, every year on Eid, Salman's fans would be treated to a new release of his, but this year will be completely different.

Salman also urged his fans to stay safe at home, and not crowd outside his home. He said "It will be very different. Everyone will be in their own rooms. I live downstairs and mum and dad live upstairs. Family like my brothers and sisters will come. I hope there is no crowd outside my house or any star's house. Nobody should be there."
Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai also stars Disha Patani in the lead role, along with Jackie Shroff, Randeep Hooda.
The film was originally slated to release on Eid in 2020 but was pushed due to the pandemic. The movie will release now on Zeeplex and several other platforms.

The ministry of communications’ Department of Telecommunication (DoT) released a press release saying “misleading messages are being circulated on various social media platforms claiming that the second wave of coronavirus has been caused by the testing of the 5G mobile towers.”

The government pointed out that linking 5G technology with the COVID-19 pandemic are false and have no scientific basis. The government also pointed out that testing of the 5G network has not even been set up anywhere in India as of now. “Hence, the claim that 5G Trials or networks are causing coronavirus in India is baseless and false,” the statement said.

The press release also added that mobile towers emit non-ionizing Radio frequencies that have minuscule power and are not capable of causing any kind of damage to living cells including human beings. The DoT also implements norms for exposure limits of Radio Frequency Fields that are ten times more stringent than safety limits prescribed by the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) and recommended by WHO.

"DoT has a well-structured process so that TSPs strictly adhere to these prescribed norms. However, any citizen having any apprehension about any mobile tower emitting radio waves beyond the safe limit prescribed by the department, a request for EMF measurements or testing can be made on the Tarang Sanchar portal at tarangsanchar.gov.in/emfportal," the department said.
“To allay the fear of general public regarding health effects of EMF emission from mobile tower, DoT has been taking several steps to generate awareness among the public about EMF radiation such as Nation-wide Awareness Programme, distribution of pamphlets/ information brochure on various topics related to EMF, publishing detailed information on EMF related issues on the website of DoT, advertisements in newspapers, launch of 'Tarang Sanchar' portal etc.”
“The field units of DoT have also been organizing public awareness events so that more and more people are made aware about the scientific facts on health effects of EMF emissions from mobile towers,” the release further added.
The Press Information Bureau Fact Check team also shared the audio message with false claims on its official Twitter handle.
"In an audio message, it is being claimed that 5g network is being tested in the states, due to which people are dying. This claim is fake. Please do not spread confusion by sharing such fake messages," PIB tweeted.

Emraan Hashmi, besides giving some immaculate performances in movies, has also worn some awesome fits and has proven that he is nothing less than a style maven.
Not just that, but in his downtime too, Emraan has made some bold style moves as well.
From wearing a Pepsi watch worth Rs 6 Lakhs to his bright Nike Air Max sneakers, he has demonstrated a sartorial flair.

As for the outfit, it's quite a relaxed ensemble. The blue hoodie paired with blue shorts is a proper athleisure outfit. We like how he has steered clear of heavy jeans here.

We also like the fact that he is wearing a printed bandana and oversized sunglasses. Instead of going for a classic timepiece, he added a smartwatch, which again is a stand out choice for such an ensemble.
Overall, every piece here looks phenomenal.

Farhan Akhtar has always been vocal about his opinions on social media and he also is someone who gets mocked on Twitter way too often. He doesn’t mince words when it comes to showing trolls their place.
Recently, a Twitter user slammed him for using a drive-in vaccination facility after the filmmaker-actor had recently revealed that he received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
The user tweeted, “Another VIP brat @FarOutAkhtar gets out of turn vaccination at the drive-in reserved for 60+years senior citizens... Either he is 60+, physically challenged that we do not know off, or used his status for vaccination.”

The actor didn’t hold back and responded, “The drive-in is for 45 + .. now do something constructive for society with your time like losing your phone.”

After Farhan’s tweet, people started to give him a reality check that the drive-in vaccine facility is only meant for people above 60 years of age. They also shared a circular wherein BMC has clearly mentioned that the drive-facility is for senior citizens.

These drive-in vaccination centers are primarily meant for specially-abled people or senior citizens who can get these jabs while they sit in their own vehicles. According to Mumbai municipal commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal, those above 60 years can get vaccinated at drive-in centers only by appointment, and they shall not drive themselves but will be accompanied by an attendant or a driver.
And this is how people reacted:

Meanwhile, on the work front, Farhan Akhtar will be next seen in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Toofaan. The sports-themed film was earlier scheduled to release on Prime Video on May 21. However, due to the rise in the Covid-19 cases in the country, the release of the film has been postponed. Farhan plays a boxer in the film, which also features Mrunal Thakur, Paresh Rawal, Supriya Pathak Shah, and Hussain Dalal in pivotal roles.
