Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse has been the talk of the town lately. People are gushing over the rip-roaring action sequences, Michael B Jordan’s machismo, Jodie Turner Smith’s badass avatar, and more.
We, at MensXP, just watched the film and, boy did it keep us on the edge of our seats!
‘Without Remorse’ definitely lived up to the hype - it siphoned us into the Jack Ryan universe and served some topflight action sequences.
What Makes The Plot Stand Out?This 109-minute-long film is an emotional ride packed with high-octane action and baffling plot twists.
    Amazon Prime Video
The premise is simple - just as Senior Officer John Kelly  (played by Michael B Jordan) decides to retire and spend time with his pregnant wife, destiny betrays him. In retaliation to a top-secret operation headlined by Kelly, a squad of Russian soldiers break into his home and kill his family.

John Kelly (Michael B Jordan) joins forces with fellow Navy SEAL (played by Jodie Turner Smith) and a CIA agent (played by Jamie Bell) and pursues the assassins at all costs. However, this breakneck mission unintentionally exposes a covert plot that threatens to unleash an all-out war between the USA and Russia.

Netizens Can’t Keep CalmNeedless to say, we were ‘Team Kelly’ from the word go. Seeing him battle it out in prison, lose his wife and be betrayed by the CIA made us root for him, and how!
Here’s how people feel about ‘Without Remorse’ -
The movie was so good! Everyone did a great job! I got teary-eyed at the end. The action was exciting. Ugh, Loved it! So happy I watched it all. #WithoutRemorse
    — Marina Victoria (@marinavictoria) April 30, 2021 Enjoyed Michael B. Jordan as Amazon/Paramount's newest Tom Clancy hero in #WithoutRemorse. I hope they make many more, or even if they just do it as a series.
    — Geoffrey Winssinger (@GWinssinger) April 30, 2021 Just finished #WithoutRemorse early and it was good y’all! #JodieTurnerSmith was badass, in-charge and well-respected! #MichaelBJordan performed well as expected — you know, he’s always going to serve some body, some struggle, with a splash of humor. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
    — Monsura (@Ms_Monsura) April 30, 2021 #WithoutRemorse was awesome, Michael B Jordan crushed it and Tom Clancy has always known how to weave a good story. Highly recommend if you're a fan of his books.

Also look out for Jodie Turner Smith’s no holds barred, badass Navy SEAL character. Lastly, watch it for the typical Tom Clancy ending - it’ll leave you wide-eyed (and speechless!).

A well-made horror film surely is a joy to watch. When you watch it also, you’re scared out of your mind, and when you watch it with your gang, there’s no better comedy.

Well, 2021 is all set to be the year of the horror films, if movies finally release as per the current schedule. We have some seriously promising horror movies lined up for this year. Heck, we have been waiting for some of these since 2019.

Here are some of the most anticipated and promising horror films of 2021, which promise to leave us scared beyond our wits.

    Antlers
By the looks of it, it seems that Antlers will be a properly scary film. It is somewhat similar to Dark minus the time shift bit. The story is set in a small town, where a young boy seems to be able to control a demonic entity. Should be fun to watch.
The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It
If you’re a fan of the Horror genre, you cannot have escaped the Conjuring series. Well, there’s another instalment in the adventures of the Warrens, and this time, audiences are promised that this is their scariest case ever. If not anything else, the Conjuring series has for sure set a benchmark for how horror films should be shot.
    Spiral
Okay, this may not strictly fall under the Horror genre for some people, but it is hella scary. Remember the Saw franchise? Well this year, they are back. The best bit about Spiral is that the writers and producers from the initial Saw films are a part of the crew for this one. Oh, also, we get Chris Rock & Samuel L. Jackson in the film. Sold yet?
    A Quiet Place: Part II
2018’s A Quiet Place was a sleeper hit. John Krasinski & Emily Blunt did a fantastic job with the film. Given how monumentally successful the first one was, a sequel was just a matter of time. It was supposed to release last year, but got pushed into 2021. This year, we also get to see Cillian Murphy in the film, so that should be interesting.
Army Of The Dead - Zack Snyder, Dave Batista, Zombie Movie
Now, technically, this isn’t anything scary about this film, but zombies do fall under the horror category, so we had to include this. Zack Snyder is venturing into horror, with Army Of The Dead, and this is a film, that we just have to see.

Last year, fans of the psychological crime thriller series Mindhunter, were left disheartened when director David Fincher announced that there may be no third season of the critically acclaimed Netflix series.

The first two seasons of Mindhunter, which revolved around two FBI agents interviewing a range of American serial killers, became an instant hit with fans as well as critics, with many even feeling that it was one of Netflix's best work since the release of Stranger Things.

But despite the end of the second season leaving fans asking for more, Fincher announced his decision to put the show on indefinite hiatus last year.

However, there is some extremely promising news for fans of the series, as sources speaking to Small Screen have suggested that Fincher has been holding discussions with Netflix about creating more episodes of the series.

According to the publication, sources close to the streaming giant have stated that while it's still early days, the Fight Club director is feeling more positive about Mindhunter than he did last year.

It was revealed that Fincher had become "exhausted" by the show and wanted to pursue other projects before maybe "revisiting" the series in the future.
However, with his latest film Mank taking home two Oscars last Sunday, the time may have come for the visionary director to reassemble the crew for season three.

Mindhunter, which is based on the 1995 true-crime book Mindhunter: Inside the FBI's Elite Serial Crime Unit, centres around FBI special agents Holden Ford (played by Jonathan Groff) and Bill Tench (played by Holt McCallany) as they run the agency's Behavioral Science Unit in the late 1970s.

If the series does go with the third season, it will look to wrap up the story of American serial killer BTK, who's been an central part of both the first and the second seasons.

And according to McCallany, he would jump at a chance of kickstarting season 3 along with Fincher and the rest of the cast.

"Look, it's all up to David, you know? It's whatever David wants to do. If David wants to come back and do it, I'll certainly come back,"
"I know my friend Jonathan Groff would come back, I'm sure Anna Torv would come back."
"It's a privilege to work with a great filmmaker like him,"
"You're lucky as an actor ... that's what you want as an actor, you want to be with the guys that are really exceptional."
"But let me tell ya, if I get the call, they won't have to ask me twice." said he McCallany, while speaking with TooFab.
Now, the news regarding there being a possible Mindhunter season 3 was enough to get fans excited.
