It’s raining remakes in the land of Bollywood. Ajay Devgn might step into the shoes of Idris Elba for the remake of the popular show Luther. While Ajay as a producer has made his OTT debut, it’s now time for Ajay as an actor to explore the digital world. The drama, which starred Idris as DCI John Luther, ran for five series (the UK version of seasons) and has 20 episodes overall, between 2010 and 2019. We are wondering how the Hindi remake of the show.
According to Bollywood Hungama, Ajay’s new show will also be aired on Hotstar. A source told the portal, “Yes, Ajay will be making his OTT debut with the Luther remake that is jointly being produced by BBC India and Applause Entertainment. Once ready the show will be aired on Disney+ Hotstar, and an official announcement of the show will happen sometime next week.”

Divulging more details, the source added, “The original is a psychological crime thriller with Idris Elba playing the lead. Given the seriousness and gravitas needed for the role, Ajay was the perfect fit for the remake. Besides Devgn, the remake will also feature a prominent female lead much like the original, and buzz is that Ileana D’Cruz has been approached for the said role.”

Just recently, he announced that he will be collaborating with Siddharth Roy Kapur for a film titled Gobar. Talking about the film, Ajay told Variety, “The story of Gobar is at once unique, relatable, and incredibly funny, as well as gripping and entertaining to the point that I’m confident it will compel people to go to the theatres. We are very clear about the impact we want to make. We want viewers to laugh, relax, perhaps think a little bit and be entertained.”

“Gobar is a story that chronicles the seemingly pointless but ultimately heroic journey of a simple citizen who deals with corruption in a way that will bring on many laughs, much adventure, and ultimately a simple message about the power of the common man. What makes the film entertaining and unique is that it is a situational comedy that sheds light on the inner workings of power,” said Siddharth Roy Kapur.
Well, Ajay surely has a lot to offer to the audience.

The clash between Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings at the Wankhede Stadium on Friday was not only MS Dhoni’s first win of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League but also his 200th match as a member of the CSK roster.
After picking up the win against the KL Rahul-led roster, the Whistler Podu gang celebrated Dhoni’s marvelous achievement in a very homely and warm environment with the team surrounding him from all four directions and the skipper cut the chocolate cake.
A treat to Thala on his 200th and icing on the cake for all of us! #Thala200 #WhistlePodu #Yellove pic.twitter.com/ErkDrHewdZ

However, it was what Mahi did after cutting the first slice of cake that left the fans awestruck and realised why he is considered to be the most favourite player in the history of the tournament.
Holding a large chunk of the chocolate cake, Dhoni rushed his way around the CSK dressing room, locating the head coach of the franchise, Stephen Fleming, who was standing coyly in one corner of the space.
What a great performance on Thala's special day!

The bowling improved by leaps and bounds to deliver such a solid blow to the opposition, rattled them hard.

Dhoni went and gave the cake to the coaches first, the ones who groom everyone on the team. Let's keep winning!

    — 丂ɥɆĐ (@Guitarguy641) April 17, 2021 It was only after the coach took a bite, that Dhoni moved on and celebrated with the rest of the squad. The piece of cake was given from person to person by the coaching staff before it was time for him to celebrate with his most trusted friend and partner in the franchise, Suresh Raina.

“He has been absolutely the heartbeat of CSK, there’s no doubt about it. Whether it’s performances, guidance or leadership… you run out of things to say about him,” Fleming said after CSK’s victory on Friday.
“His longevity also has to be mentioned and appreciated... to play 200 games and still have a desire to do well and perform well is a testament to his attitude towards the game and the franchise. I think the franchise has grown and MS has grown with it, so it’s a very good relationship and great fun,” he added.
"It (persisting with the same team) is something we really bank on. I feel often Fleming doesn't get the kind of recognition he should. It becomes very difficult when the coach is going in a different direction and the captain is going in another. There can be a bit of confusion," Dhoni had said about the New Zealand coach back in 2020.
"But the good thing between us is we decide each and everything between us and it stays inside the room. Once we come out, we back each other. It's not like we don't have debates on selections or positions but just that it's between the both of us. And it's a relationship that we have shared for a very long time. He has been with us after the first season of IPL. So that's very long," he had added.

Since the 2020 season of the Indian Premier League, former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer has become the country’s greatest social media presence as far as the game of cricket is concerned.
Not only is his Twitter handle a gold mine for insight into the various series currently going on, but he also keeps his fans engaged with riddles and puzzles before the big games that truly are brain-teasers.
However at the end of the match between Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings, for which he was appointed as the batting coach back in 2019, Jaffer decided to troll his own side with an ancient, yet iconic tweet shared by none other than Bollywood actor, Salman Khan.

At the beginning of PBKS’ season of the 14th edition of the IPL, Jaffer had presented his wish in front of his social media followers that he wanted to say ‘Yes’ more and more while quoting the same Salman Khan tweet, essentially signifying how he wanted to see his team win more matches this season than they did last year.
Our campaign starts today. My only wish is that I get to quote tweet this Salman Khan tweet with 'Yes' more often this season #RRvsPBKS #IPL2021 pic.twitter.com/v2A0oeTGrS

However, after winning their opening match against Sanju Samson’s Rajasthan Royals’ squad by a close margin of just four runs in what was a nail-biting finish at Mumbai’s legendary Wankhede Stadium on April 12, the Punjab squad looked weak against the three-time IPL champions in CSK on Friday.
With the worst Net Run Rate in the league at the moment and with a team record only second-worst to David Warner’s SunRisers Hyderabad, KL Rahul and his Punjab Kings find themselves at the seventh spot of the Indian Premier League 2021 Points Table.

    — M.Readan (@MReadan) April 17, 2021 "Last game we got 220, this game we couldn't get even half of it. It's important that we learn from our mistakes and that's the sort of team we want to be. We still want to go out there and play fearless cricket," the skipper said after losing the match.
Getting wrapped up for just 106 runs in the first innings of the match, the franchise co-owned by actor Preity Zinta, was unable to stop Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s side from chasing it down in less than 16 overs. CSK ended up winning my match with six wickets and 26 deliveries to spare.

Nailing a thick, full beard is surely a grooming trend, but in no way does it define masculinity.

For ages grooming trends like clean shaven facial hair and body hair have been attached with a toxic idea of being “less manly”. But what has manliness got to do with how you look or act?
It’s about time we became more inclusive and blurred these beliefs. Taking inspiration from these Indian actors is a good way to get started!

There’s something different about Abhishek Bachchan that makes him stand out from his contemporaries. He has always been compared to his father Amitabh Bachchan which we feel is unfair as he has his space and he has given us praiseworthy performances in Yuva and Guru. It’s his honesty and humble nature that makes him class apart and shows his perfect upbringing.
In one of the interviews with Bollywood Bubble, he said actors are usually shy from accepting the fact that they love validation but he does love it when the audience appreciates him for his work and he is okay in accepting it.
He said, “Actors usually shy away from talking about that validation but the point is let's be very honest a film being accepted and your work is accepted and praised is a validation of your work and that's partly why we do what we do as well. And there's nothing wrong in saying that. We are all here to entertain the audience. We are here because a part of us, apart from creative satisfaction, also wants to hear the applause. You want to get the pat on the back saying, 'Job well done'. That's a large part of being an actor. It's a wonderful thing. Why do we try and stay away from it in our false attempt at being humble?"

He also accepted the fact that he does get concerned when his film does not get accepted by the audience. He also talked about his idea of success and failure. “I love it when the films that I work in do well. I love it when the audience gives me positive feedback. I am concerned when my films don't do well. I am concerned if I don't get good feedback for my work. I learn from it. But the great thing about life is I think we have to stop looking at the opportunities that God places in front of us as a success or a failure. There's success and there's learning. There's no such thing as failure. And the minute it is classified as a failure then you are done. That's when you should put the final punctuation mark on your work. If that's not what you are prepared for and you have to continue then you have to turn that failure into learning and move on. And you only succeed if you learn how to fail first. We also kind of put too much pressure on what success means,” he added.

On the work front, Junior Bachchan is riding high on the success of his recent outing, The Big Bull. The film released on Disney+ Hotstar on April 8, and the streaming service has announced that it became its 'biggest opener of the year'. The Big Bull, inspired in part by the life of tainted stockbroker Harshad Mehta, is directed by Kookie Gulati.

Ahead of its release, the team had to fight the odds as it was compared with Hansal Mehta and Pratik Gandhi’s Scam 1992.
